Great location and kind staff”
The location was awesome - easy connection to the airport via Arex, and everywhere else in the city with public transport. It's directly linked to the station exit with lift access so no issues transporting our luggage. The room was well designed and great value with the price point! One minor downside was that central AC was unavailable in Oct and there was some external noise with the windows opened. So may be good to request for room facing away the main street if you are a light sleeper and coming in between seasons. Other than that, we had a great stay at Glad Mapo. All the staff we interacted with were kind. Definitely will consider staying at Glad again for my next trip!

Excellent location”
Location is splendid. Gongdeok station exit 9, take the elevator or escalator up and it's the hotel! And gongdeok Station is on the airport railway line as well which makes it easy for traveling to and fro the airport with our luggages. There's a convenient store just at the lobby too.

Great location, friendly staff, but busy hotel”
This is a great location, with a stop on the airport line and just off the popular Hongdae. The staff are all very professional and friendly, although facilities are lacking a little. Rooms were clean and tidy, and although they don't have a breakfast option, you can very easily pop out to the surrounding area to grab a bite.

Comfortable bed”
This is my first time staying at this Hotel. Room is big, bed is very comfortable, shampoo & the soap are very fragrant and the location is conveniently located with direct train to Airport. I have heard about the no extra blanket & toothbrush policy. Just to add: each bed comes with 1 pillow only - not sure if this is an issue. I need 2 pillow, but since I travel solo, no issue for me. Will definitely come back to stay here again in the future.

Best in Seoul”
I am Korean live in Australia. So I am traveller but local at the same time. I come to Korea once a year and stay in Seoul for about a week. I've been many hotels in Seoul, and this is by far the best! Location is unbeatable. There are 3 or subway lines right at your door stop (literally right in front of Lobby) and there is airport express to both Kimpo and Incheon. There is airport limousine bus right in front as well. 100s of restaurants open till late, so many convenient stores, pubs, KFCs (Korean fried chicken) and so much more. Myuong-dong is only couple stops away. Staffs were so friendly and helpful for any needs, even housekeeping lady was so kind. Room was clean and quiet. (If you compare it to park hyatt, it may feel small), toilet was big enough. I have no trouble recommend this is any of my friend who plans to come to Seoul. And I will definitely come back here again. ps. special thanks to Jenny at the reception for the great help when I checked in. 이소라

The best hotel in Mapo”
I would say that this is the best hotel in around this area, near to subway(Gongdeok) exit 8 and also bus stop. The room is big and have enough space for baggage. I would recommend this hotel. Great

5 day stay”
Great location with entrances facing subway station entry points. Room and gym facilities were clean and tidy. Service was also very on point for a strictly english speaking visitor. Would definitely book again at Glad Mapo!

Exceptional”
We frequently stay here - it is well connected to everything, including the airport! There is a direct subway line from Incheon / Gimpo directly to the entrance of the building. As with most Korean hotels, you don't have much control over the heat in the winter months. It's only about 60 degrees, but they have the heat turned up to 80 and you can't change it.

A tad pricey but rooms are comfy”
Room was clean, bed was comfy, hotel was right at the subway exit, though there is nothing much around the area unlike honghae. Central air conditioner hence have to open the windows when it gets warm inside as they switched on the heater in end oct. Thank god they switched it to cool air a few days later (but no one informed me) as the autumn was slightly warm... when windows were open, it gets really noisy. Cleaning staff were polite and greeted guests, provided water daily (some of the hotels i stayed at didnt), and does a good job making up the room.

Not central but convenient ”
We spent 2 nights here and this was our first time in Seoul. The journey from airport to hotel was quiet straightforward.we took the AREX Express train to Seoul Station then just cross the platform to take the all stop airport train one stop back to Gongdeok. (You can tap out with the AREX ticket) Head straight to exit 9 then boom! The hotel is right there. There’s a 7-11 at the hotel lobby level which is very convenient because you can also get your TMoney card right away. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of local BBQ restaurants just across the road so even that we arrived quite late that evening, we could still grab dinner nearby. Transport to other key areas is okay, wouldn’t say it’s the best as Gongdeok is on the main line where most attractions are. But I guess in Seoul as long as you are near a station, you are quiet settled! Staff were helpful and speak good English.

Value for money and good location ”
Exit 9 at Gongdeok station leads right to the hotel. Exit 8 is also extremely near. They don’t provide toothbrush so you have to get them from the convenience store at the lobby. They provide the other bathing amenities. Roomy was very spacious and clean and was at a great location!

Goodhotel with Strategic location”
Glad mapo location is right outside the Train station exit 9 (using airport train) using the escalator. It is very easy to go to this hotel bringing luggage from the airport. And also near bus stop so very easy to go to downtown or uptown seoul. Room, bed, bathroom are comfortable. Overall glad mapo is a good hotel.

Location was very good and room was clean and nice size( i think it was more spacious than usual double bed room). but breakfast start only from 7am, if you have early flight, then you need to be in hurry but luckily Gimpo anf Incheon airport has no much traffic in the morning, so it was ok.

The room was clean and had a beautiful view of Seoul. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was super clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. The hotel is near the subway exit and has many restaurants and cafes nearby.
