New and bright motel in Khon Kaen”

We originally booked Glacier as we had planned to take the train onward to Nong Khai and it is very close to the train station but in the end the train times are very inconvenient so we took a bus. There are 3 bus staions in Khon Kaen so that was a bit confusing but we arrived and departed from the air con bus terminal to the west of the city. A songtaew is the best form of transport. Our room and bed were huge. The air con worked great. There was no plug for the bath and the shower leaked a bit. The breakfast was very good. Lots of variety. Even tom kha soup one morning mmmmm! You eat breakfast by the pool. The room service meals were huge and very tasty. The pool area is a bit weirdly designed in that to enter the actual pool you have to walk through the breakfast dining area. The pool is under cover so doesn't get any sun. The water was super cold because of this but the air temperature is so hot of course so it's not a problem. The sun lounge area is kind of separate which is annoying when you have to supervise your children in the pool. There were only 2 sun lounges and the area was basically the smoking area so there was cigarette butts everywhere and it was just a dirty area compared to the rest of the motel. There was a super cheap landromat across the road and a 7 eleven close by. It is also walking distance to the big Central Plaza for many restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend Glacier in Khon Kaen. We

Great location, great hotel.”

I stayed for a couple of nights with a break in between, the glacier hotel has everything you would need and more from a 4* hotel, I have zero complaints about the rooms or hotel. Large comfortable beds, big bathrooms, large windows overlooking the city and it is very clean. Breakfast was OK if you can eat thai style breakfast. The western style breakfast was sub standard which is something that you come to expect in the region. The staff were extremely helpful & polite. Overall if I would definitely stay in the Glacier hotel again if I were to visit Khon Kaen again.

Modern as!”

Opened only a few months, this stunningly designed hotel goes with Glacier theme with white and pale blue decor. On a hot day, you feel cooler just looking at the place. Hotel is close to the centre of the city of Khon Kaen. Swimming pool is built-in to the side of the hotel which was novel (enclosed on 5 sides!) The rooms have wi-fi. Bathroom in 6008 has interior glass walls which have curtains for privacy or curtains can be left open if you wish! Breakfast was buffet style but not yet up to the standard of the nearby Charoen Thani or Pullman(formerly Sofitel) As per usual with an Agoda booking, received excellent value for money because of the rates Agoda negotiates

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

the glacier hotel khon kaen was a very nice hotel for the money. service was excellent from the welcome drink with a smile to the parking lot attendant who escorted us to the street with enthusiasm and professionalism. our room was large with an interesting ice motif throughout, the bathroom was large and clean, and the bed was the most comfortable we've slept in in thailand. it's close to all the other main hotels and night spots too. i'd stay there again.

Nice decoration and best services”

i really love the glacier hotel with the unique modern style decoration and very best in term of services. there is mini car delivery service to take the hotel guests to anywhere around the hotel for free. also you can call them to pick you up getting back to the hotel. all receptionists and other staffs are very nice and friendly. recommend to stay here if you have to khon kaen!!

beautiful hotel”

This was my second stay at The Glacier Hotel Khon Kaen and it was as great as the first. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and VERY helpfull. The rooms are cool and modern with awesome lighting, yet very welcoming. The beds are great. The rooms are cleaned to perfection. The Glacier Hotel is the best value in Asia!

The Glacier Hotel Khon Kaen is a good place to stay if you plan to spend the night in this city. Its very good value for the money and the bed is truly fantastic of that's important to you. Good service. funky design in the lobby. decent breakfast buffet. Only thing lacking is that the design for the bathroom did not consider how to keep it from flooding when you take a shower.

Nice Romantic Hotel”

The Glacier Khon Kaen hotel is located near the city, and are sorrounded by some other big hotels too. Walking distance to a mid size shopping mall, and have many restaurants nearby.The staff at the hotel was friendly and very helpful about information when we asked them.We liked the theme about water they used at the front door and even inside the hotel.

Good Vakue for money”

Overall very satisfied with Glacier Hotel. Choice for cooked items at breakfast could be more extensive. However, rooms were spacious and very comfortable. TV was very good and choice of channels immense. Swimming pool is rather small. I will certainly stay at Glacier next time i visit Khon Kaen. Very good value for money.

Good location, comfortable. Recommended if you don't need to park a car”

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and it's always my choice for a very comfortable, value-for-money place to stay in the centre of Khon Kaen. I won't repeat my previous reviews, or comments by other reviewers....this is a great place to stay, but the car parking lets it down....it's just not adequate. So....Glacier management....PLEASE organise some overspill places, and get your night watchman to provide some extra surveiilance.

Very good value for money”

We stayed now the second time at the Glacier Hotel and we will book it for sure again for our next stay in Khon Kaen. Friendly staff (speak good English), great location, we like the design. Good breakfast buffet and also in the restaurant a nice choice of various food (Asian and Western) for fair prices. Restaurants, Bars, Shopping Malls in walking distance. Quiet location, sufficient parking space.

Tip of the Iceburg”

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very close to everything without being too noisy. The price is very reasonable considering the amenities. I worried that the train station might be an issue but it wasn't. Parking spots are limited. We will be sure to stay at The Glacier when we return to Khon Kaen.

Impressive”

Very rarely are hotels what they say they are, the Glacier is an exception. Enjoyed my one week stay here, clean, friendly staff and big rooms with good bed, all the things i reqire when in a hotel. The only critism was the wi-fi needs you sign in every few mintues, annoying but will not stop me returning in the new year on my next trip to Khon Kaen.

Great hotel with excellent service”

The quality of the rooms and the hotel itself are excellent, with modern decor and furnishings. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The hotel is located in centre of Khon Kaen and is close to shopping centers, bars and restaurants. The only issue is the noise at night from nearby nightclubs which may be a problem for some people. Breakfast was reasonable.

we stayed at the glacier hotel on our wedding night after holding our recepition in the room down on the ground floor.we had a fabulous evening and the staff did a wonderful job.the room was good very clean and would recommend this hotel to anyone.the best coffee in khon kaen.

ALL ROUND WINNER OF A HOTEL!”

This establishment is one of those rare gems of a find. It's in a great location just about 15 min walk from Central Plaza, where the mini vans drop off. It has a small pool, rooms have an economically priced minibar with complimentary tea/coffee. Reception staff were friendly, professional and English speaking. Great nightlife all round too. This is definitely THE hotel I will stay in next time I go to Khon Kaen.

modern boutique hotel , great location ”

beautiful,very helpfull and friendly front desk ladies... the room was very clean and modern but a little on the small size...the pool also very small and full of kids ...the hotel is situated in the middle of khon kaen in walking distance to pubs, restaurants,bars and shopping.check out the restaurant and night club next to the hotel. the hotel seems a little overpriced for the type of room offered but it has a good location...

Romantic hotel with water theme”

The hotel is located near to city heart of Khon Kaen,and it is within walking distance to some shopping area, and have many restaurant in the neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our afternoon by and in the swimmingpool, with a drink in our hand. Breakfast was servrd in the same area, and feautered both western and thai food. Room were clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful hotel with great hospitality”

with the first expression from outlook which is like the movie of james bond, quite impressed and the decoration,outstanding and different, which i've never experienced before. great location which is very near to several places such as restaurant, department store and some pubs, which is excellent for the travelers. you can also experience the local shops and market in downtown. try it for your next stay in khon kaen!
