Lovely, quiet hotel”

We originally booked for 2 days at Garden Home Kata, but ended up staying for 10. The room was clean and comfortable with a private balcony, the gardens were gorgeous, and the pool was large, clean and warn. Although the staff had little English, they were friendly and attentive. The hotel is quiet, although close to the main road and restaurants. They served nice breakfasts; they don't serve lunch or dinner, but it is only a few minutes walk to a large variety of restaurants. The only drawback is the distance to the beach, but that can be said for all the budget hotels in Kata. However, the hotel rents motor scooters for 200 baht a day which we used to get to the beach, so the distance was not important. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we ever return to Kata, we will stay here again.

I had a great stay at Garden Home Kata. The staff was amazing and super helpful. There is an amazing restaurant on the corner of the hotel street. Ate dinner there every night. Great location. Quiet and not overcrowded. Walking distance to the beach.

Very nice hotel”

We really liked this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although not luxurious. The rate is very reasonable. The garden is lovely, well kept, and well looked after. The pool is a good size, warm and clean, and there are plenty of deck chairs. Our room had a good sized, private balcony with an excellent view of the garden and pool. It's a fair distance to the beach - wouldn't want to walk that far, especially uphill on the way back, but the hotel rents scooters for 200 Baht a day which we took advantage of. However, there are many restaurants within easy walking distance. The owners have very little English, but enough to get by, and they are very friendly. We originally booked for only two nights to see if we liked it, but ended up staying longer.

Peaceful location”

Before I say anything keep in mind that the lobby closes at 9pm every night. So it's not like a regular hotel that they have someone there 24/7. I arrived at 9:30pm and had to go to the hotel next door, the melody ( also pretty good and modern by the way) I thought I had lost that first night but they let me stay for the 2 nights I had paid for because fortunately they are in low season. They have scooters for rent and a very nice pool and decent sized pool. Breakfast is not included but for a small charge you can buy it at the lobby where they have a picture menu of the items offered. The location is quiet, very peaceful , good restaurant right on the corner if you walk about 10 min you will get to a street with even more shops,massager places, markets, etc... Kata beach is nearby by scooter as well, but Id recommend Freedom beach more private and colorful. Enjoy your stay!

Nice hotel, comfortable room with a fan, good swimmingpool, tasty breakfast and sweet helpful people working there :-) we had a good time there Only minus - 10-15 min to the nice Kata beach, and you must cross very traffic way to reach closest supermarket. No any restaurant at hotel, but on the corner, 10 meter from hotel is little nice local café where they making a really tasty thai food :-)

Fantastic!”

Well recommend. Travelling with a 2 and 4 year old. Lovely place, good location and very quiet. Numerous large supermarkets 200-400 meters walk. All staff in the place was so good with the kids, food was very reasonable and delicious, large room beside the pool with amazing aircon. Was like a home from home. Family feel hotel. No other English majority French however everyone had a smile on their faces without any nationality differences rushing the bar and restaurants like you can sometimes get in all inclusive hotels!

Cannot be beaten on value for money”

Great small hotel located 15 minute walk from Kata beach. Rooms are basic but very clean and for the money extremely good value. Would recommend to any couples/families that are looking for somewhere of decent quality for a great price.

Nice atmosphere”

Enjoyed the stay , room is basic but it was clean and the A/C worked well . The staff was very good , spoke English well , very helpful and friendly . Pool was great. Bit of a walk to the beach but not too bad . Was impressed how quiet it was being so close to main road in Kata.

Marvellous hotel”

Great pool, the family owners are very keen to provide an excellent service. We were arriving a little late due to flight times and they made sure we were looked after once there. The hotel is a little bit away from the main area such as the beach but lots of shops around. Good variety of restaurants at good prices.

Great Value”

booked this hotel for Songkran (Thailand new year) and I was surprised it's so cheap during this time of the year. Easy to check in and check out, no deposit required. Room is big and nice and there's a very nice pool in the hotel. About 20 mins walk to the beach. Overall I'm very happy with this hotel

Pleasant stay”

We stayed in a family room with a big balcony (2 rooms/1 bathroom). It's 2 rooms (one with king size bed and the other one with two beds (single and king size) and one bathroom (which wasn't always convenient with 4 adults around, but we got used to it). Lots of drawers to keep your stuff in, one safe, great breakfasts (if u like eggs or thai breakfast), nice staff, great pool. Would love to stay again!

Freindly helpful staff. Good room with efficient air con. First floor position to catch the breeze with a view of the pool and tree-tops. No room internet which is a bit of a bugger, need to sit in reception or their restaurant, which is spacious and cool. The breakfast is good value if you eat like a horse in the morning.a good base to work out of using a motorbike to get around with, great value, convenient and great fun for a first timer.

Nice rooms and great pool. Great value hotel in a side street off a main road so its fairly quiet and very little passing traffic. Lots of great little restaurants nearby.

A jewel in Phuket”

We had a very positive experience; would go again; the guests using the pool and hotel felt like family. From arrival @2am till 9pm departure the whole experience went like clockwork. We were close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The staff were amazing.

Great value for money ”

Perfect for us. 10 mins walk to yoga studio (beloved yoga), beach and 30 Mins walk to o oh farm (vegan, veg, healthy restaurant) hotel was cleaned daily, and stuff happy to help where possible. We wanted a kettle and staff were more then happy to give us one for our stay.

Great stay Great staff”

Beautyful place close to everything and away from the bustling touristic seafront. 10 minutes walk to the sea and 5 minutes walk to the centre. Staff is great, very helpful. Pool is fantastic and the place is real value for money!
