I always stay at this hotel when I travel to Gangneung! It's great because I can walk to the market! It's also close to the bus terminal and there's a bus stop nearby. Plus, I can leave my luggage and wander around!

One of the best values in the city”
There are quite a few hotels in Gangnueng and after staying at several, I have to say that this hotel is by far my favorite. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is fantastic. There are many other, more expensive hotels, located near the University in Gangneung, but with the size of the city, and how nice this hotel is for the cost, as well as it's location, I'd stay here, every time I go to Gangneung, going forward.

Clean, quiet, and spacious room”
We arrived late in Gangneung and chose a hotel in the city center. The building itself is old, but the room was very clean and nice. The design is on the old side, but it was a good room for a family trip, and the room was spacious and quiet. There is no view outside the window as it faces the parking lot, but it is recommended for those who want to rest comfortably late at night. There are good restaurants nearby, and if you walk a little from the hotel, there is a central market where you can have breakfast. Great value for money. My family loved it. The bathroom is also very spacious. However, the bathroom light needs to be replaced as it flickers a bit.

Tired rooms, smoky smell”
Room had cigarette smoke smell despite being a non smoking room. Room in need of refurbishment as furniture is well worn.

Hotel is old and its room and facilities reflects the same (dark & lots of stained towels/mould wall). The only saving grace is location (in the middle of the city BUT it’s not 800m away from the KTX station when you walk, please take a taxi) + friendly staff. Ok if you don’t mind the above for a night or two.

Kind and polite Korean staff. Room is good and wide and more facilities such as hair dryer, bathtub, shower, toilet, TV, air condition, heater, refrigerator, sofa, bed , skincare, haircare, shampoo, soap. Price is very good for all service and facilities. Hotel was located on good point, near a bus stop shopping street, restaurant, coffee shop and convenience store.

初めて江陵で宿泊。 一晩寝るだけのための宿しをしたのですが、夏休み期間ということもあり、江陵市内のホテルは結構いいお値段！ そんな中、ここは街中にあってバス停もすぐそば。最高のリッチなのに、日本のビジネスホテルと変わらない値段。 施設は古かったけど、枕元にはスマホ充電用にケーブルがついてたし、テレビも何気にChromecastでスマホとミラーリング可能。 なかなか良い滞在ができました。

추석연휴기간이라 경포대쪽은 30만원대. 그래서 동아호텔 예약. 대만족. 호텔 리모델링 완료. 완전 깨끗. 욕실 욕조 어마무시하게 큼.화장실 별도. 시내중심지라 강릉 중앙시장 걸어서 5분. 맛집들 다 도보로. 버스 스탑 호텔 앞. 차놓고 경포대가서 술 한잔 먹고 오기도 너무 대중 교통이 좋음. 다시 가도 이젠 다른 호텔은 안본다. 너무 편하고 깨끗하고 넓고 좋으니깐.

방구조와 위치 좋아요”
뚜벅이 여행자입니다. 우선 강릉역과 엄청 멀지 않고, 강릉중앙시장과는 5분 정도 거리에 있습니다. 중앙시장과 가깝다보니 남대천, 월화거리 쭈욱 걸어다닐 수 있습니다. 건물의 연식은 조금 됐지만, 방이 크고, 화장실과 욕실이 나눠져있고, 욕실에는 욕조도 있습니다.
