Gem in Myeong Dong”

G2 hotel has really impressed us with its room's condition and services! They provide everyday room cleaning if you press the make up button room or if you choose not to, there is a do not disturb button too! We have been offered for a room upgrade, from superior to deluxe. The room is big for our 4 luggages, and not to mention the king size bed! It is very comfortable and all the facilities are so new and clean! The shower gel and shampoo are from Innisfree too! Nothing to complain about. They have massive front hall with clean and beautiful design. The distance from G2 to Myeongdong is about 5-10 mins walking distance. And it is closed to Eujiro 3 station, only 2-3 stops to Dandaemung! My partner and i have been doing a lot of shopping and to walk from Myeong dong to the hotel has not been causing any problem to us! Also the Hotel provide phone order Fried chicken and beer for the us too! They even have two different menu for you to choose! How thoughtful :) Thanks for accommodating us! Will definitely our first option of we come to Seoul again!

Brilliant”

I really enjoyed my 4 nights stay in G2 Hotel. We booked a Quad room which is spacious and equipped a bathroom with two tabs. The service of hotel is perfect, they helped a lot with answering all the question, ordering chicken, calling a taxi, etc.... The location is just right, near Euiji-ro 3 ga station, junmu-ro station and myeongdong station. There's also a taxi stop on the main road. just few minutes walk to Myeong dong shopping street. there are a lot of restaurant, cafe and convenient store nearby. The staffs and even the cleaner are so nice. i will definitely book G2 Hotel for my next trip.

Great Hotel”

We got off at Toegyero-3-ga bus station as instructed by their hotel directions page but got lost a little.. and it does involve some walking which is not for my elderly father. A blog suggestion would be to take bus 6015 and stop at Pine Avenue (Euijiro2(e)ga. After going down, walk towards the subway and on the intersection, turn right you’ll see G2 Hotel. Walk for 5 minutes. There are near subway stations too but we opted to ride a limo bus (14,000krw/head) to make it less hassle. We arrived late evening and the management was kind enough to exclude that night from our charges. Before heading up to the room, I suggest borrowing their transformer/charger (if you didnt bring one). You will be asked to deposit money for two. I love the quad room, it is perfect for my family. It is quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. We daily complimentary water bottles, osulloc tea, innisfree bath products, bath robes, room slippers, hair dryer ... in short, everything a hotel should have. there is also a nearby convenience store... 7/11 and starbucks is just down the street. Myeongdong Shopping area involves some walking.. which mu elder dad didn't like (Loisir is right smack beside the market) but I didn't mind walking. You will pass by ghe Myeongdong Cathedral, which is also a tourist attraction. off topic:The hotel receptionist also gave us innisfree discount coupons for use at innisfree shops in myeongdong, but when i tried to use one they said they ran out of freebies and i would need to use a credit card to enjoy 10% off. another tip: Getting to myeongdong station exit 2 (for ktourstory tours) involves turning left on the first main intersection (away from mcdonalds) and once you see Uniqlo, take subway station to cross to the other side of the main road. On the last day I used their lobby desktop for check-in, though their printer ran out of ink so I couldn't print hard copies but the receptionist had me email the boarding passes to their email and he printed th

Great stay for one week”

Very new hotel, room was clean and nice. Location is within walking distance to 3 subway stations. Myeongdong, Chungmuro and Euljiro-sam(3) ga, making it quite convenient to travel to all parts of Seoul. There are several convenience stores located nearby and there are many restaurants around the vicinity as well. 5-10mins walk to the main shopping district in Myeongdong makes it a breeze to do some night shopping. The hotel is also located near to the Airport Bus Shuttle's pick-up point although it would be better if the hotel could provide a shuttle service to the Airport Shuttle bus stop. Staffs were friendly and did not hesitate to assist us. Overall we had a wonderful stay at G2 Hotel Myeongdong and would definitely choose this hotel again if we come back.

Helpful Staff and Service with Care Indeed ”

I highly recommended G2 Hotel for your stay because of the following 2 incidents: (1) Helpful Staff ( sorry I didn’t remember her name, the lady served us on 1 Dec 2018). I presented her a confirmation list of Agoda as standard double room which however she told me they received the Agoda information was standard twin instead. Double room was all occupied. I felt angry about Agoda and helpless. She was very helpful and tried her best to settle the issue shortly. We could rest in a lovely room and started our tour happily. (2) Refund policy. G2 hotel was very considerated and shown their understanding when handling my refund request. It was because I have mistakenly booked the room in wrong period and the refund policy was “no refund”. I have sent G2 hotel email and Agoda as well. Eventually, Agoda agreed to proceed 100% refund after the agreement of G2 hotel. G2 hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed.

Excellent choice in Seoul (Myeongdong)”

I stayed at G2 for 3 nights during my stay. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Hotel room is very clean and modern. The location is the only slight downside of this hotel. It is about 10 mins walk from Myeongdong, but it wasn’t the end of the world. It is located between two main subway station and easily accessible to different subway lines. Being off the Myeongdong allow it to keep its price reasonable for the quality offered. I will definitely come back here when I come to Seoul again! Great value for money!

Very Good”

Usually I don't write review on hotels but this time I think I should. Before I check-in to G2, I intended to purchase some items from Gmarket korea and ship to hotel. I emailed hotel for address information since it is not a straight forward process to enter local address information into Gmarket system. The hotel customer service was indeed very helpful and patience, despite a couple of emails correspondences, he even helped me by sending me a screenshot of how the address being filled up in Gmarket! I am very impressed by G2 service, even before I checked in! During the stay, my items were delivered and collected in good condition. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. We have a very pleasant stay and service is excellent! One thing to note is the distant, if you intend to walk to Myeongdong shopping street, it is about 15-20mins. The nearest metro is Chungnuro station Exit 5. The limousine bus stop is midway of this station. It is only on the last day of stay we discovered that it is very easy to walk to/from the hotel from Chungnuro Exit 5. Well, the room is acceptable big for a family four, clean and good! I will definitely book this hotel again! Thank you all the G2 Hotel staff!

Clean and Convenient Location”

The hotel is in close proximity to Euljiro 3(sam)-ga, Chungmuro and Myeongdong subway stations which makes it an ideal location to get around Seoul. There is always at least one front desk staff around and the housekeeping team keeps the rooms really clean! Only downside is that there are some renovation works going on in front of the hotel and the noise from drilling kept me awake for a night. Other than this, I would recommend G2 Hotel to all! And big thank you to the front desk and housekeeping staff for making my 8 days stay in Korea such a pleasant one :)

New and Clean hotel”

My very first wedding anniversary trip to Seoul and i chose to stay in G2 after a big research.It was a pleasure stay in this hotel.First we talk about location,10 mins walk from Chumuro station (Line 3 Exit 5),along the way has many food stores and mini mart.Secondly,we were impressed with the hotel cleanliness and room facilities,everything are clean and new.We stayed in Deluxe Double,there's bathtub in the room,we enjoyed it in this late autumn season.They provide Innisfree products in the bathroom.Bed is great softness.Carpet in the room as well.If only one thing i would feedback is the breakfast could be improve,provide different options daily could help those guests don't feel bored,we almost having the same food everyday.Conclusion is we are happy to stay here and definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.Thank you G2 staffs for giving us a memorable stay in Seoul.

Perfect Hotel”

All the staffs are very nice and friendly. The environment of the hotel is wonderful. The room and the beds are very cozy and big, just like being at home. The location is nice as well, it's near 3 subways which only takes about 5-10 mins to get. I love the gym and laundry facilities. However the laundry machines are not enough to use, there're only 2 washing machines and 2 drying machines. Sometimes I had to wait for several hours to do the laundry. I love Innisfree green tea bathing appliances, and the room always fulls of the beautiful green tea smell. The view of my room is great, I could see N Seoul Tower easily. And the view of rooftop is beautiful, too. There're two things could be better, one is the weak wifi in the room, and another is that the breakfast isn't variety. Anyway, I will recommend G2 Hotel to my friends, and I'll stay in G2 when I go to Korea next time.

Value for money ”

There was a special online and I got G2 hotel accommodation at a good price. The rooms clean and cosy but not too small; bed very comfortable; bathtub available; helpful staff. The location was good, close to three subway lines and walking distance (three blocks) to Myeongdong night market without having to be in the midst of it. The airport limo stop is also nearish being close to Sejong hotel. I would recommend staying here if you want to be in Myeongdong.

Good central location hotel at Myeong-Dong ”

This hotel is centraly located in Myeong-Dong area. There are 3 subways station nearby And walking distance about 300-400m (Chungmuro, Eulji-ro 3 and Myeong-Dong). The airport shuttle bus of TMark Hotel bus stop is also in the walking distance. Nearby a lot of convenience store and 10 minutes walking distance to Myeong-Dong shopping area. The hotel staff services is great, fast check-in, room reasonable size and clean and having laundromat service. The room toiletries amenities is innisfree product. Thanks for a great hotel and will come back again

Good new hotel worth the price and location!”

As titled, good new hotel with a decent price tag. From Incheon airport, you may take a airport limo bus 6015 for 15K won per pax, get off at PJ Hotel and its a walking distance to Hotel. Love the innisfree toiletries, especially the green tea shampoo, but strange as I couldn't find the same shampoo from any shops in the city. If you come out of the hotel, there's a small police station opposite , and turning to your left you can walk towards either MyeongDong or Chungmuro station, depending on which direction you wish to take your train, both stations are within walking distance about 10mins and there's lots of nice small eateries around the vicinity of G2 Hotel, but only a few open late into the night. There's a G25 store near by open 24hrs, easy access to beers and So-ju. There's also a 24hrs eatery within walking distance, you'll just have to discover it yourself late at night, and there's no worries for safety because the vicinity is actually pretty safe compared to loiters at Seoul station. Love the breakfast, the fruit yogurt is the best and wish they'd give a bigger serving. Not buffet style but there are several choices so you can have different dish every morning, yet it is very filling to the tummy. There's a rooftop garden which we didn't get to enjoy until the last day as it was raining the entire time we're here, pretty bad choice to visit Seoul in July......sad.

Very happy stay”

My husband and I travelled to seoul in mid Nov and we stayed at G2 for 3 nights. We arrived 3 hours before check-in time without arranging early check-in but hotel staffs still welcome us without surcharge. We were more than happy as we really needed a rest after long flight. The staffs are all very fluent in english, polite and helpful. The hotel room and facilities are all very new, nice and clean which is my top concern. I highly recomended G2 for anyone regardless you travel alone or in group.

Good Looking Hotel w Good Price”

The first thing that really wowed me and my friend upon reaching the hotel is its crazy beautiful lobby aesthetics. Covered in an almost panoramic view of marble (walls & floor) across it's spacious ground level and tastefully decorated in a luxurious minimalistic style, G2 is definitely targeting the hearts of young modern travellers. The room's aesthetics and space offering did not disappoint either. A continuation of marble pieces outlined with gold metal, the room was nothing short of cosy. The room is relatively spacious despite us squeezing in an extra bed for another friend last minute. We each got a little bit of our own luggage space on the floor. The bathroom is of a good size as well, allowing a separation between the wet and dry area. Both my friend and I agreed that the bed's quality was great as we had wonderful sleeps. The pillow was too flat though and did not provide enough support. The hotel's location is off the main Myeongdong shopping street, about a 10min walk away. It is however compensated by it's close proximity to 3 different stations - Myeongdong, Chungmuro and Euljiro-3 ga, each lying on a different coloured metro line. It was more efficient to get around as we're in the middle of these stations and we could choose which is the faster metro line. The Airport Express stop is about a 5min walk away, along the main street. The initial search for the hotel from the stop could be a bit difficult to navigate and also cause Seoul's terrain isn't the friendliest. We arrived really early in the morning (abt 730am) and check-in was only possible, as we were told by the front desk, at the earliest 12pm. We came back to the hotel after breakfast and a short stroll as we were really worn out from a red eye flight. We were once again told to wait till 12pm and any timing earlier would not be possible because they experienced a full occupancy the night before. It was completely understandable hence we decided to wait at the hotel lobby till the given

Without Doubt one of the Favorite Hotel we stayed during our trip in Seoul. Upon arrival 4 of us ( GIRLS Squad ) were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff & he offer to help us to takecare our luggages. We had a marvelous stay in Quadroom at G2 HotelMyeongdong. Well-appointed comfortable & spacious room with an area of 48 sq. ft. The Quadroom comes with a carefully crafted blend of aesthetics , modern and complete range of top-end amenities including; Welcome innisfree product amenities, Wireless Internet Access etc The Hotel is strategically located in the heart of the City & very closed with Myeongdong shopping area only 5 minutes walking distance, Very Modern New interiors, very comfortable , clean & spacious room with 2 super kings size bed, very good service and some excellent breakfast too. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We'll definitely be back! 👯👯😘😘😘😘

Just a 5 mins walk to Myeongdong Main Street but on a quiet street with not so much noises during weekend. There are also lots of good food around so you won’t get bored. Very close to Chungmuro station where we can take line 4 to Dongdaemun, Seoul station. Great staff who can speak English well and really toke my booking requests seriously. Thank you so much for their recommendation for food and transportation to our needs. Surprised with the Innisfree gifts too! Will definitely choose G2 again for our next Seoul trip!

Comfortable stay”

Staffs were friendly and willing to help. The hotel was clean and room space is enough for 2 opened big luggage. Location between Euljiro 3(sam)-ga and Chungmuro, takes only 15mins walk to Myeongdong (or by subway). Everything is good, G2 will be my first choice staying in Seoul.

G2 is number 1”

This visit is the 2nd time I have stayed at G2 and still think it is the best value l in Seoul. The quality of the room outfit, linen and towels are excellent the staff are great. They are equal to a much more expensive hotel which is why it’s quality to value is second to none. Also it’s location is brilliant only 5-10 mins walk to everything whilst being quite at night. Only minor comment I have is that the duvet was too thick so it was a bit warm and had to turn the AC on to cool down. I will definitely stay again next year.

G2 hotel is located in a very convenient place. It's very near to myeongdong shopping area and there're alot of shops and restaurants near by. The staffs are very friendly and helpful even the ajuma who make up our room everyday. We had our very pleasant stay in G2 Hote. We hope to stay there again in the future.
