Charming hotel in location ideal for business + good food ”

I loved my stay at G Mekong. The staff were incredibly helpful - Bong Det gave me great recommendations for live boxing matches, arranged multiple airport pickups (with printed signs), and Mr. Phearom was very responsive to my comments about the room. He quickly resolved an issue I had with a light that wouldn't turn off and gave great restaurant recommendations in the area. All of the staff were friendly and proactive. Both the hotel and the room had modern decorations and some more traditional Khmer fishing-themed decor that worked nicely together. They have a well-equipped gym and a pool on the roof. The pool area has a sky bar that is really nice in the evenings. There were a few well-lit conference tables on the ground floor that were perfect for small meetings. The location of the hotel is perfect for business travelers. It's in the center of the city and a quick walk or tuk tuk ride away from most ministries and commercial centers. There are lots of amazing Chinese restaurants in this area, as well as Oreussey Market, which is very local and has just about anything you could imagine should you take the time to walk around it (loads of great local food options too). The area is safe, unlike my experiences at some places near the more touristy Riverfront area. I plan on staying in this hotel whenever I'm in Phnom Penh. Thanks!

Highly recommended top quality hotel, top location”

I moved from Ohana Hotel to G Mekong Hotel since the former one was not as clean as I expected it to be. Upon arrival the entire staff was extraordinary helpful, friendly and worked hard to please every possible wish I could have. My room as on the 7th floor, right next to the swimming pool - which was serviced from around 7am to 9pm and always maintained in a very clean state. The hotel also offered a gym as well as a spa - which I highly recommend due to the professional standards. The breakfast is served in the restaurant on ground floor - they do offer a wide variety of different kind of national and international dishes, a serviced egg / omlette / noodle soup station that is always ready to serve freshly made dishes as well as high quality coffee as well as tea and hot chocolate. The only components I missed were cheese & ham and whole-wheat bread. Maybe that could be improved to offer an even better service next time. My room was very spacious, offered a kingsized bed, an office table, a flat screen, a bathroom, a wardrobe, and mostly I was stunned by the modern technology that is used to control everything within the room. I experienced twice a power shortage lasting for about 1-2 minutes, yet it did not influence my stay in any negative way. I personally will be coming back to this particular hotel the next time I visit Cambodia and am looking forward to be welcomed in such a high quality facility again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this new and modern boutique hotel, centrally located in Phnom Penh. The hotel is sleek and well-designed with the greatest attention to detail throughout, from the lobby to the rooms and from the restaurant to the pool and fitness centre. The staff are very friendly and offer some of the best service that I have ever received at any hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Phnom Penh. Nothing could have been better during my stay!

Great hotel and incredible staff”

I arrived to this hotel after a long flight. During my check in I already noticed how kind and attentive the workers of the staff were. The welcome drink (fruit juice) was a really nice detail, as well as the cold towel, that helped me to refresh myself and be more focused despite my exhaustion. The room were I stayed was nice and confortable, with everything I could need. Breakfast was really good, with several different options that changed each day. The pool is beautiful... Everything was really good, but what made my stay in this hotel really enjoyable was how nice the hotel staff was. Specially Mr. Bong, the assistant front office manager. His way of greeting me every day with a really cherfull attitude and with a big smile made me feel especially welcomed in this far side of the world. I will definetly come back to this hotel if i come back to Phnom Penh again. Thanks for everything!

Great Hotel - Will stay again”

When the car first drew up at the hotel, the facade of the hotel was unimpressive. However, upon entering, the lobby was unexpectedly welcoming and comfortable. The room and bathroom was very clean! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower pressure was strong and had hot water. The only thing I would feedback for my room is that the bathroom shower tap hot and cold water indicator was the opposite of each other [for example, position of the red indicator (hot water) was on the left but instead of the shower tap moving to the left, it had to turn to the right side instead]so so do experiment this accordingly. Other than that, it was a great stay and I would stay there again the next time I go to Phnom Penh.

Friendly staff and very clean hotel”

This was first time stayed at G Mekong Hotel..Lobby was a little dark yet thought had been taken with presentation of objects of interest..especially the ornate koi and goldfish settings. Really refreshing to see an art gallery on 1st floor supporting local artist. Good choice of food for breakfast with tentertive service from staff. Swimming pool ok although too cool sometimes with plenty of loungers.,spacious gym with even areas for floor work. Rooms are a good size with hot water and comfortable bed..Only one issue...during a storm one evening windows leaked through the seals. staff helped us to mop up with towels and did offer us a different room, yet the room we had was high up and peaceful with good views of city, so decided to stay put less hassle for us Was as little disappointed that we were not compensated some other way. Over all a very pleasant stay with great hospitality

Amazing stay!”

This hotel is my go to hotel in Phnom Penh. I have stayed in many high class hotels but this is the one that has the cleanest rooms and the most amazing staff. They will always accommodate your requests and are always making sure your stay is comfortable. It's not in the tourist area which is way better because you're not assaulted by tuk tuk and Moto drivers when you walk out the door but there are plenty of tuk tuks around to take. I recommend this hotel 100 percent.

Wonderful stay in the G Meking Hotel!”

Fantastic hotel with clean, spacious rooms, a tasty buffet breakfast and a lovely pool with views overlooking the city! The staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. The location is also good though I would suggest bringing a hotel card with you as the tuk-tuk drivers often claimed difficulty in finding the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and would easily recommend it as the number one option for a place to stay in Phnom Penh.

Wonderful hotel even for 2nd visit”

This is my second stay at this hotel. Level of service, cleanliness and the touch screen controls as well as USB charging ports at the bedside table are all touches that made my stay a very comfortable one. Staffs are really polite and observant. My only small complaint is the breakfast menu which is kind of limited and repeated. And the only lift can be rather busy during peak hours. Other than that, this is still my preferred hotel to stay whenever I visit Phnom Penh.

Wir waren das 2. Mal im G Mekong Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (ca. 33 Euro für das Superior-Zimmer) war gut. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die über das Hotel gebuchten Tagesausflüge waren gut organisiert und zu einem fairen Preis. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und umfangreich. Würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Very nice hotel”

This hotel is in an old part of Phnom Penh, it a lovely modern property that is well kept and well managed. The interior is very nice from front to the back exit. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The water pressure is not strong but it is good enough. There is plenty of hot water. The bed and bedding are very comfortable. Breakfast is a la cart now, but it is buffet when there is no more lockdown. All the staff are very polite and friendly. This is a very nice hotel and I recommend a stay here.

I'm returning guest, and this hotel has never failed to disappoint. The rooms are always clean and the staffs are very friendly upon any requests. One of the more affordable hotels in Phnom Penh! For it's quality, it can match up to any 5 star hotel. Worth the stay!

Great Hotel!”

Really nice hotel with great staff. It was my first time to Cambodia and I didn't know what to expect. The G Mekong hotel staff made me feel welcomed and assisted with anything I needed. Having them pick me up at the airport was a great choice as it was seamless and without worry. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast had great choices. The staff genuinely cares.

The staff at G-Mekong Hotel are courteous and helpful. I also appreciate that they have a treadmill (the wide one; they also have a narrow one) in their gym, and this was able to keep me fit during my 22-day stay. Thanks to my bookings with Agoda, which were at good promotional prices.

High quality 4 star hotel close to central market”

G Mekong hotel provides a fantastic service, no matter what one might ask for. The hotel offers a spa, restaurant, roof top pool, gym and various tour services. The breakfast offers a wide range of dishes, yet there is a lack of cheese / ham. Especially the services omlette station is a highlight and should not be missed.

The location of the hotel is right at the centre of phnom penh city. Very easy to go around. The room is clean and spacious. And it was very thoughtful of the hotel to prepare one small cake for my friend's birthday.

This hotel is the cleanest hotel you will find in Phnom Penh. The staff is incredible and the facilities are great for a relaxing stay. It is not in the tourist area but it is easy to get around. Definitely recommend this place!

This hotel is the best choice when you travel in Phnom Penh. The staff is so friendly and very good communication. It's closed to Orrussey Market, Central Market and many places to go. Everything is very nice and strongly recommend to stay.

Nice hotel located on the main road of Phnom Penh. Staffs are diligent on duty, friendly and helpful, a pity is they usually do not exchange small bill dollars to guests. I like the decoration of this hotel and especially the restaurant. I would like to stay again.
