The family room at the furama hotel bukit bintang is very spacious with 2 bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms, small office and a living room. The hotel also offers a decent view of the city - including the tip of the petronas towers and the KL tower. The hotel is located near bukit bintang which is a haven for those who would love to shop. Shopping malls near the area (walking distance) are Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang, Bukit Bintang Shopping Mall, Farenheit 88 and the Pavilion. It is also very accessible; in fact, it is one of the hotels which you can immediately see when you enter KL (from the airport). The buffet breakfast is good. There was a wide variety of choices - both local and international cuisine were well represented on the menu. The swimming pool is cute and small, but no worries, there are lots of activities in store for you in Kuala Lumpur that you would not mind to miss on the swimming part. The hotel also has fast wifi/internet connection (good thing that wifi is free in the agoda deal) otherwise, wifi could be a bit costly in this hotel as they charge every 10 hours. All in all, we had a good stay in furama hotel. Although the service and friendliness of the staff needs improvement, I will still want to go back to this hotel.

Clean, Quiet, and Worth Your Money”

Our family had a pleasant stay at Furama Bukit Bintang. The rooms are spacious and clean. It was well-kept everyday even if we did not request for our room to be made up. We had complimentary wifi in our rooms as well as in the public areas of the hotel. Furama is also situated at a great location. Bukit Bintang is the food and shopping district in Kuala Lumpur so we were close to everything, even public transport (buses, monorail, taxis). Despite the fact that it is close to everything, the hotel's surrounding is still peaceful and quiet especially at night. The breakfast buffet was also good, they have a good selection of food but I would appreciate if they had more Western dishes (especially protein) on the menu. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. They gladly assisted us for our early check-in and did not ask for additional charge. Just one point for improvement: Better if they add more receptionists to avoid long waiting hours/queues and to entertain more hotel guests at a time. We generally enjoyed our stay in Furama and will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

I took my wife on our vacation to celebrate our anniversary at Kuala Lumpur, and I wanted it to be perfect. Your staff did not disappoint me. Your concierge, Mr Kana was able to assist me to let me park my vehicle near the lobby area as I have bad experience in parking in tight squeezes space which I did not know that your carpark has a narrow gap. I really appreciated that he let me park my Hyundai Starex near the lobby area as I really don't know where else I can park my vehicle if your staff did not assist me. Staying in Furama bukit bintang Hotel actually enhanced our vacation experience. Every staff member with whom we came in contact on our room 1609 was attentive and kind including the housekeeping and the room service. We have already decided to return to Furama bukit bintang Hotel for our next vacation, which will be next year. TQ

New & Modern. Good value!”

I decided to try Furama Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, especially since I recently enjoyed the stay at Furama Hotel in Bangkok. It was a similar experience: Friendly staff, clean rooms, modern facilities, good breakfast ... Nothing over the top, but anything a normal person would want considering the budget price I got through Agoda. I paid in deluxe room, which included breakfast buffet and free wifi. In fact, they moved me to a two-room superior suite because they did not have any deluxe rooms available. An acceptable 10 min walk to Bukit Bintang, with all the shopping and food. The only thing I wasnt too impressed by was the swimming pool. There were no trees, and only 2 occupied deck-chairs, and it was right outside the restaurant, so not very private either. I was planning to spend some time there, but decided not to.

A good hotel & excellent service and good location”

I have stay at Furama Hotel Kuala Lumpur at 2/21/2012 - 2/23/2012, with my Family (wife & 2 young son).In first sight, i know this is a new hotel, and after i meet the receptionist, she give me very excellent service to proceed my check in. Hotel room is so big and so clean, because that room have a living room and bedroom separatly.And that room is so proper with my capacity for 2 adult and 2 young children, and i very like for the all facilities in my room, like bedroom and bathroom. For informaion about kuala lumpur, the concierge man had helped me to give all information all interesting places on KL, and he gave me a recommended driver of taxi, so we can around of KL City all of day. Location of the hotel is very near from the Berjaya Times Square, so we have much time to go the shopping areas, and it's not too far if we want going to the Bukit Bintang Area. So We think....this is a very good hotel from the service and the location...

Value for money could not be better”

at the price you are paying here, this hotel really does a more than decent job. there is actually no single really outstanding quality that i'd like to highlight; what made the stay here so pleasant was actually that there was no major flaw - which, the way i see it, is often harder to manage than just having one or two highlights gilding over what's not so great. the room was clean, fairly large (with a huge bathroom attached), the view towards the city is quite nice, the furnishing seems close to brand new, the bed was comfortable, no city noises disturbing the sleep, well-adjustable aircon, and considering that it is a modern hotel going more for business travellers, i wouldn't even call the style of the rooms quite as nondescript as the other users here. the pool area is also nice, albeit a bit small for the size of the hotel. for the price range, the breakfast was also a highlight - it's actually tasty, which is (unfortunately) by no means a standard in the area, but, same as with the pool, it seems to be a little undersized in comparison to the number of rooms. anyone wanting to avoid the queues might want to consider getting up a bit earlier. the staff was friendly and mostly knowledgeable. well, maybe there was one flaw after all: for a place that calls itself a 'business hotel', the wireless internet connection was a bad joke. if you need to load data beyond an email here, you might end up growing old and grey. furama bukit bintang is not really located directly in the bukit bintang area, but rather a bit to the south. the directly adjoining streets look a little run-down, but kl is not an unsafe city. what's more, it's just a three minute walk to imbi monorail station and the berjaya times square mall, and the heart of bukit bintang is also just 10 to 15 minutes on foot or one monorail stop away as well.

Spacious room with very friendly hotel Staff”

Furama Bukit Bintang is clearly a winner. For the reasonable price you pay, it's amazing that the Imbi Station is just a 5-8 mins walk away. Located just behind Berjaya Times Square (BTS). Not sure how to walk ? Just turn left after exiting from BTS, continue walking to the back and you will not miss the Furama hotel. For those who drive, parking is complimentary. Just need to get your ticket validated at the Concierge. Check-in is a breeze, and the very friendly and knowledgeable counter staff are most delightful ! Thank you Syazali & Norhairyanti, who speak really good English and were able to answer all my queries ! Thanks for making our stay a pleasant one ! They upgraded my room to a deluxe, and the room was spacious. Surprised to find the bathroom with bath tub and standing shower. Didn't expect that from this hotel. The bed was comfy to sleep on too. But where's the bathrobe ? Or perhaps for the cheaper priced room, no bathrobe is provided... Room is clean and neat. Bathroom is very nice. And the hot shower stays hot even after it was turned on for some time. Breakfast was good and plenty of variety to choose from. Though fruits selection is not a lot; only 3 options. Choose the seats by the pool for a nice breakfast. It's nice to be outdoors and feel the cool sensation as the breeze blow over the pool, cooling the area. For those griping about there not being any wireless or wifi connection, it only cost RM10 for 2hrs or RM30 for 12hrs wifi. Business or solo travelers with a laptop, the hotel provides complimentary wired LAN cable to hook up to your laptop. FREE internet :) Oh, btw if you upgrade to the next bigger room, wifi/wireless internet is provided FREE. In Berjaya Times Square, basement, you can buy your Coach tickets back to Singapore from StarMart Coach counter store. At RM45 one way, it's really good ! Overall, me and my partner enjoyed our stay in Furama. Will definitely come back again and stay in this hotel again !

Absolutely fantastic stay”

furama hotel bukit bintang was an absolute gem of a find. location is fantastic, close to restaurants, 24hrs convenience shops, and the heart of bukit bintang. we booked a superior room for the deepavali weekend and was immediately upgraded to executive room upon arrival. friendly, hassle-free check in. ample parking. only downside is, as it is relatively new, it does not show up in some maps/ gps finder. the executive room was spacious, clean, and in excellent condition. somewhat limited tv channels. mini bar was fully stocked and restocked the next day. free internet access in the room via lan cable. wifi access in popular public spots in the hotel. i had a completely uninterrupted sleep, comfy bed, with individually-controlled air-conditiong. good breakfast spread and variety. did not skip it once. all in all, furama hotel did not disappoint. at the current published discounted rates, it is a practically a steal.

Large rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast.”

We have stayed at Furama Bukit Bintang before, and liked it for its large, very clean rooms and friendly staff who genuinely seem to enjoy working there. This time we got a great deal through Agoda, on a Deluxe room with breakfast, so it really wasn't hard to choose to stay at Furama again. Our room, on the 17th floor, was large and clean. We move our beds further apart at night (yes, sadly we snore), even the carpet under the beds was clean (and we can tell you with authority that is not the case at all hotels). The rainshower was lovely, plenty of hot water each morning! The bathroom, like the room, was large and clean. Our in room safe didn't work particularly well, but everything else in the room was fine. The fridge was very efficient! Breakfast was tasty, reasonable variety including a hot omelet stand, the choice of a couple of danishes, muffins, croissants, two types of bread for toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit (3 kinds), over easy eggs & sunny side up eggs (not cooked to order), pancakes or french toast, cereals, tea, coffee, nasi lemak, congee, chicken sausages, chicken curry, fried rice, fried noodles, a potato dish, a vegetable dish, baked beans, turkey "ham", and even a whole separate section for vegetarians! The pool was half the size this time, as they had emptied out one of the two pool sections. Still, it's a nice little pool with a view over KL Tower. We didn't have time to swim this time (our bathers came for the holiday). We'll be staying at the Furama again, particularly if we can get a similar deal to that we found this time!

i have always only stayed at one particular boutique hotel whenever i am in kl. so my husband was very surprised when i told him that i had booked us into furama hotel bukit bintang for our recent weekend escapade. i had chosen furama out of a sense of adventure, but largely because i was introduced to the agoda app for iphone users. through agoda i was able to choose a hotel that suited my budget and although i was never there before, based on the positive reviews given by others through agoda, i was quite confident furama would be pleasant experience. and it was. the hotel is newly renovated, in fact the carpark is still in a state that shocked us when we drove in. that aside, it was a clean and fuss-free hotel with very courteous staff manning its front desks, good facilities for a weekend break with its roof-top dipping pool and exercise gym, an aesthetically pleasing dining experience at its cafe and restaurant, and ease of getting to shopping areas with it free shuttle service. i found the driver of the shuttle van very nice, friendly and professional. he made my ride in his super comfortable mpv very enjoyable.

This is my first time for a holiday, and i can say this is a pretty good choice i've made for my stay in Furama Hotel (Bukit Bintang), Kuala Lumpur. A very warm and friendly staff from the concierge, reception counter, room service and services provided during breakfast time. I got upgraded to a bigger rooms than wasn't expected as i only paid for a normal size. And overall i feels satisfied and my hospitality here is always been taken care of.

i was staying at the furama hotel for the 2nd time barely 3 weeks ago. i was there 3 weeks ago traveling alone and finds the staff really friendly and helpful. not just with the check-in staff but also everyone from the security personnel at the door to even the taxi coordinators who takes care of my transport needs every time i needed a taxi. nice spacious rooms with clean bathrooms and one of the most important thing is the location. it is not far from the bustling malls which is only 10 mins walk from times square malls and the monorail imbi station an yet where it is located, it is so much more quiet than all the busy crowded walkways along bukit bintang which is way too crowded. great great location and friendly staffs brought me back to the same hotel 3 weeks later with my mum, my sister and niece. this time around, all of us found that the staffs are equally friendly and helpful and my mother who is of age of 76 was really impressed with the friendly staff. always polite and courteous and always greeting us with a wide smile. certainly looking forward to our next time staying at furama hotel. keep it up and keeps those smiles going...... june is when the holidays was and we found the hotel pretty crowded and the restaurant is crazily crowded for buffet breakfast. the staff seems to be very overworked with clearing of table and settling in everyone with their coffees/teas. food there is always running out and many a time, we have to keep waiting for empty trays to be replenished. with a packed restaurant for breakfast, the place looked overcrowded with people and the other set back is that although the hotel provides free lan line for internet, it would be better if they provide wireless internet access for free as most travelers these days do travel with either the ipad or smart phone. certainly will be back soon . keep it up, furama hotel staffs !

Excellent, Superb, Unforgettable”

My stay at Furama Hotel Bukit Bintang was one of the best stay I ever had in Kuala Lumpur. Nice quiet peaceful area but yet very centralised to nearby shopping malls and dining restaurants. Very clean and luxury room. Not forgetting the beautiful swimming pool. Very efficient and friendly hotel staff to respond to my needs during my stay.

For a visit to the city centre of Kuala Lumpur this very affordable hotel is a perfect choice. For it's situated quite near to both, Bukit Bintang and Berjaya Time's Square shopping centre's. The Hotel itself has a friendly staff and the quality of the breakfast is first class in every respect with an extensive choice of food. Special mention should be made of the tour-operating desk of which the people in charge do everything possible to arrange whatever excursion you like, even when it's low season, in which case they combine you with another tour to make the destination of your choice possible. Last but not least the LAN-internet connection is of superb quality. All in all, Furma Bukit Bintang can be higly recommended for your stay in the famous Malaysian Capital.

Great Hotel Staycation!”

We stayed for 3N4D (27-30 Oct) at Furama Bukit Bintang. It was centrally located and very near Berjaya Times Square. Our check in was smooth and we were given a deluxe room with twin beds. We requested for a higher floor, which they had gladly provide. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The lobby was quite big and cozy. Upon reaching the hotel room, we were satisfied as we had a good view of the city. The size of the room is good as well as the toilet. They had provided all the basic needs esp the iron (w/ironboard), small fridge,sleepers and toiletries. Breakfast was a good variety as well and it was satisfying. There's a pool beside the dining area but we haven't tried it. We had a good stay as there are other food shops across the side of the hotel. You can also go to Berjaya if you want to try other food shops. Overall, Furama Bukit Bintang is highly recommendable!

Clean hotel with good service and great position ”

I realy have enjoyed staying in Furama hotel, and the position of the hotel in Bukit Bintang area is very helpful to get access to the heart of Kuala Lumpur city and it's tourism places. The service in the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly dealing with us. The breakfast food quality was good, but it is more better for asian people.

this new addition to the furama chain is very nice though if you tell the taxi driver that it is in bukit bintang, he will not find it. the location is convenient since it is near local food, across the street from an older mall called times square, and next to a monorail station. but it is 1 monorail stop from bukit bintang, or an easy 10 minute walk. the room was large, sunny, and nice. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast buffet was one of the best that i have had. a nice mix of western, malay, and vegetarian selections every morning. the food was always freshly prepared and there was always plenty of fresh rolls and fruit. there is a gym and pool that are very nice. they gym is very new and the equipment is better than most hotel gyms with free weights, benches, weight machines, and treadmills & bicycles. the pool had a nice fountain and a glass wall so you can look over the edge to the street below. the design is very nice and seemed to be very family friendly there were a few minor problems with the room. when i notified the staff, the maintenance person was in my room within 5 minutes taking care of everything. great service!!! this is my hotel for future visits!

Back again at Furama”

We do frequent trips to KL, at least once a year and since, we have always returned to Furama. Service is always with a smile and very prompt. Location of the hotel is near to Imbi station (if you are taking the train from KL Central after the airport), its also situated within Bukit Bintang but its not in the midst of all the chaos so hence its also more peaceful. If you rather not walk to the main busy Bukit Bintang area, the hotel also provides shuttle services daily to Pavilion and KLCC at certain allocated timings. Breakfast consists of a wide variety of local and western choices. Rooms are clean, comfortable and wifi is stable. Another reason why we usually return to Furama is they appreciate loyal customers, almost all my trips back there has been pleasantly welcomed with a room upgrade.
