Great place to stay and work and hang out”

The best hostel I've stayed at in Thailand. I was travelling as a digital nomad and wanted a place where I could work, train and have some fun. Fin hostel really delivered on this! There was great places to sit and work (with AC) and there's a nice pool on the roof. Also there is regularly fun BBQ parties down at the square with very reasonable prices for the food and beer. The location is perfect just near the night plaza and where the airport bus stops, but since it's located in a small square off the main road there is no traffic and minimal noise. Super nice! The staff are amazing and super helpful. There's even a nice kitchen and hangout area with a huge projector to be able to watch movies. Just a super nice hostel with super nice people there. Big recommendation! Don's gym is also nice gym close by, and there's nice thai food super cheap just around the corner that can deliver to Fin hostel so you can just work there and have the food come up to you =)

awesome stay”

Had freaking awesome few days stay over, very comfy bed and environment as at home with air-conds equipped. Living room was equipped with projector screen, movie DVDs could be selected from the tray to play and watch together with everyone, sofa and big pillows were provided for additional comfort. Rental of motorbike could be found easily with good price. Take couple of minutes walk to Kata beach for surfing. This hostel much attracting English spoken people, and chill out throughout the nights with beers with ladies and gentlemen who came from across the globe. Pretty much fun. No one gonna pull a star down from 5/5 rating of this hostel. You must STAY in this or get nothing from here in Phuket. So much in LOVE with the people I've met and the freaking awesome hostel. I will rate 6/5 for this place.

Very Impressive”

I traveled to Phuket to surf. Unfortunately i forgot my backpack in the van from the airport. FIN Hostel staffs did their best helping me on collaboration and I finally got my backpack back. The staffs were helping me out like i am their own friends. Location: is 7-10 mins walk to Kata Beach. It also has 7-11 near by, perfect location i would say.

My Stay”

Our stay at Fin Hostel was awesome. Most importantly the rooms were comfortable. Although there were loud musics playing throughout the night due to a bar located downstairs, the noises were minimal and we had no trouble falling into a deep sleep. The location is also very convenient for us, everything is just walking distance away and easily accessible. The only problem that we experienced, are the mosquitoes in the common area. The overall cleanliness can be improved. But nonetheless, it is acceptable at this current state.

Great Location, Great Facilities, Helpful Staff”

This hostel is 200 baht from the Phuket airport. Its also a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, 5-10 minute walk from a good set of bars/clubs if you're into that, 5 minutes from the Kata night market as well. Delicious cheap food surrounds this establishment as well as more upscale. The staff here helped me plan my logistics and did what they could to get me a taxi or a minibus.

Excellent stay close to beach”

We really enjoyed our stay at Fin Hostel. Fin is in an excellent location. There are numerous bars and restaurants right next to the hostel, as well as the beach is a five minute walk. The hostel has an excellent atmosphere and is very comfortable- it feels like home. The bathrooms are excellent for hostel standards- very clean and modern. The wifi worked really well. The staff was helpful and friendly but not over the top. Don't really have any complaints.

1st hostel stay ”

Fin hostel is in good location and staff are also friendly. It is my first time to stay in a hostel and i loved it. Aside from the affordable price, i have met a lot of lovely travellers in the hostel 😊

We had a group of four girls staying at Fin hostel and can definitely recommend the place! the staff was very helpful and welcoming. We ended up extending our stay from one night to six. Big thumbs up for the welcoming party they had on monday and BBQ-party on friday, great way to get to know to other travellers!

Near to Kata beach, Good Hostel”

This hostel is good for someone who really want to enjoy Kata beach area. The staff is good and easy to communicate. They provide small cinema room to everyone at hostel to enjoy the movie. Really near to Kata beach and walking distance around 5 to 10 minutes. Around hostel there a few bars & restaurants you can enjoy and near to convenience shop.

Nice place close.to the beach but not really clean...”

Place is great... Close to the beach with a nice lounge. Stuff is OK but not.the friendliest I have ever met.. Be prepared for a cauction of 500bath - key and towel if u need. There are lot.of restaurants near by. In kata u won't find discos and good bars so.if u expect it its not a place for you. Go to patong. Kata is a calm place. If u need a van to the airport take it in any of travel agencies u can find near to the hostel . hostel want 300bath in agency u will pay 250max. On Friday they have a nice barbecue party. Kitchen should be more clean... It was really awful to use...:-( dirty plates , because lot's of people don't clean after they eat and seems that hostel stuff don't care about this kitchen at all.... Unfortunately! I have met Great people there;-)

Great hostel w a rooftop jacuzzi pool”

Great hostel w a rooftop jacuzzi pool. Very near to 7-11 , night market, local bus, restaurants as well as walking distance to Kata & Karon Beach. Air con in female dorm have no time limit but we practise to off it if u r the last one to exit the dorm.

Great vibes ”

Stayed here 3 nights. Everything was great!! Staff could maybe smile more but oh well. We were a group of 5 and if you want to stay in Kata stay here. Location is great and everyone in the hostel was in a real good spirit.

Lovely hostel, great location, fun atmosphere ”

Great hostel, absolutely recommendable. I arrived soaking wet from the rain in the evening and had a minor hick-up at first. I had booked a 4-bed female dorm and the receptionist told me it was not available so she wanted to put me into a 8-bed mixed dorm in the very top floor (which you have to access through outer stairs - again in the rain). I complained though and asked if there is nothing else as I had booked a 4-bed dorm and all of a sudden there was a 6-bed female dorm available on the first floor (not sure why she didn't offer me this one in the first place...) . From this point on I had a great stay. The room was next to the bathrooms which are lovely with waterfall showers and a rack to put your stuff. Bed little bit hard but very comfortable especially with the super comfy blanket (not just a sheet!). Missing a curtain though. Lockers in the rooms with keys. Towel 20 bhat. Surf board for rent. Very close to the beach just a 5min walk. Nice and comfy kitchen and living room with tons of DVDs. Great place and great people!

The best hostel ever”

A brand new hostel, they also have many Private rooms I stayed in a dorm and this place is so much better than the photos on Agoda. So clean and a beautiful place. Everything was perfect, nothing to complain perfect location. highly recommended

perfect stay in kata beach”

Had a great stay at FIn's. Slept first 2 nights in the main building and then transferred to the "co-working". Couldn't have asked for a better place. Clean, 5 mins from beach, lots of toilets and showers, nice common room in the first building with a kitchen and a small pool on the rooftop. Get a pod in the "co-working" building if you need more privacy/comfort. Staff was supernice and friendly, always smiling. Thank you Ta, Minky, Boom, Sunny and Mr Oh! Hope to be back in Kata soon and Fin's where I'm gonna stay.

Exceptional”

Good hostel just near the road. You can take the airport bus and stop at Fin. Its also near the market but you gotta walk a little to go to the beach.

Awesome stay”

great location at the north end close to Kata beach entrance. nice comfy common area (bonus: there's a white cat who sleeps there :D). fully equipped kitchen & fridge. spacious shower & toilet. friendly staff & very clean. unbeatable price. highly recommended.

It can be a party hostel but you can also relax and do your own thing. Recommended for budget travelers in phuket area where everything is expensive (compared to other places in thailand)
