The hostel that made me feel like family! As a solo traveller, it never made me feel solo. After a long day of my own itinerary around Siquijor, we went dinner together in different budget-friendly restaurants with different cuisines. Best was we also partied together! I have made so much friends here that made me extended my stay! The hostel has full information of what you can do in the Island and plus the schedule of all the ferries. You can rent a scooter with them and they assist to book you a trike/Tuktuk if you need one. In my own opinion, you MUST rent a scooter to go around the Island. It’s easy to drive on the road anyway, not that busy. Moreover, free breakfast with good brewed coffee!! If you are a dog person, you will never miss a day of cuddle from Agra and Gozo (I missed them already :( ) The dorm room's clean and spacious the you can easily move around and organize your stuff. Lockers were also available. Bed was comfy and with curtain. Toilet's clean and showers were great one with hot water. Also, the area’s well-located near Paliton Beach and very well-secured! As a digital nomad who needs high speed internet connection for work, WIFI’s AMAZING and the common area was great to work at cause it was relatively quiet! Haven't had an inch of issue with video calls/uploads/downloads. Thanks to Phil, the hostel keepers, the security man and most especially to Ervin for a great stay! I will definitely be back! Cheers

Best Hostel!”
Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at! If you wanting to meet new people, socialize, and have a good time, then this is the place to be. In the mornings, there's complementary toast with butter and jam, so no need to go out to have breakfast. Also, there's complementary coffee 😀. The hostel recently installed a hot water heater in one of the showers. I think they experimenting first before adding hot water heaters to the rest of the showers. So no need to have a cold shower 😀. If I'm travelling solo again, and find myself in Siquijor, without a doubt I'll stay at Fable Hostel again!

Totally recommend”
The owner really helped me when I was injured and moved me to another room so I could stay in the lower bed. He helped me out and I could work, rest and the security guard was kind to me and made me coffees during the night! Could not give my enough thanks to him. Now about the place: rooms are huge, lockers are big to put your stuff in, the staff helps you out and even gave me and my friends snorkeling gear, you can get free coffee, tea and sometimes when they have snacks a small bread. They helped me out a lot and the owner gave me a lot of info when I needed to solve some issues Cons: would be nice to have hot shower and I feel that some places to take shower the water did not go down as it supposed to go, it was not fast, like it was a bit clogged

The owner, Ervin, takes care of everyone and is such a delight to chat with. Hostel is decorated nicely with natural materials and lots of plants. Enjoyed meeting other travellers in a laid back place. Loved my stay!

Best Hostel in Siquijor”
This is easily the best hostel in Siquijor. Beautifully designed. Shared rooms are very spacious and clean. Everything is tidy and well thought-out. The washrooms (showers and toilets) are also immaculately clean (like cleanest of any hostel I've ever stayed at). Two very friendly and fluffy dogs (Gozo and Agra) that I adore. The owner Ervin is a total legend, he genuinely cares about his guests. He is very communicative, he came to dinner with us several times, and was so helpful, totally went above and beyond to assist me in trying to leave Siquijor to catch my flight, when all public ferries were not operating. As someone who has been traveling extensively (Asia, Europe, Central and South America) for the past 10 years, in group and solo, Fable Hostel was truly a refreshing hostel experience for me, 11/10. A real gem found on Siquijor Island.

Best Hostel in Siquijor”
For someone who works in a publishing industry, I am lost for words on how wonderful and memorable my stay was at Fable. With no plans coming to Siquijor, I spent most of my days just lounging in the common area and chatting with other guests. Ervin is the most kind, humble and hard working host I ever met in my travelling life. He was able to let me see the life in Siquijor from the lens of a local and a business owner. He and the rest of his crew (Guard, Dina, Agra and Gozo), made me feel home and it was so difficult to leave them on my last day. I will surely come back and to anyone reading this, you are missing half of your life as a traveler if you will not stay at Fable. PS. I even want to work there at some point!

Irvin goes way and beyond to provide the needs of his guests. I felt comfortable staying at his place because of how he treats everyone staying there. Great Hostel”
Very nice hostel with spacious rooms and comfy beds. It’s really clean and the owner is super friendly and will provide you with all the information you need. It’s kind of a very luxury hostel with a nice design. Also close to the beach where you have the best sunset. I can recommend it not enough, stay here!!

The place is so nice ! The rooms are big, good AC, curtains and small light on each bed for. The showers and toilet were clean and there was always toilet paper ! The look of the place is so nice, i felt a little bit like im in a resort and not a hostel, and the common area is cosy and nice to hang out even when its raining. The owner, Ervin, is such a cool dude, helped with everything and was so thrilled to explain and answer all my questions. You can feel that he genuinely cares and love it . And the dogs are so cute 🥰 .there are restaurant available neer and a beach you can walk to for those who don't drive. I will come back here in the future

Exceptional”
This hostel is stunning! It is my first time staying in a hostel and I think I’m doing hostels more frequently for my upcoming trips. The hostel owner is so approachable together with his well-trained staff and cute dogs. The hostel owner helped me arrange everything for my trip. I’m definitely coming back, but next time I’m bringing my friends with me.

Clean spacious hostel room with a great host ”
Thanks Ervin and team for a comfortable stay. I have nothing to complain about this hostel. The toilet is always clean. There’s space between beds so you’ll have your privacy. It’s just a 5 minute walk from Paliton beach, and a short ride away from San Juan town. You can rent a motorcycle here and he’ll tell you about places you shouldn’t miss.
