Downtown hotels & places to stay

Hotel is one of the better ones compared to surrounding hotels and their breakfast is decent. The plus point is the hotel is located near LotteMart (probably 5 mins walk) where you can do your groceries and have your meals in a less crowd. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby the hotel too. Room is extremely spacious and modern. Overall, would recommend it.

Hotel was nice. Room, restaurant were also nice. Price is not bad. Because there is not good hotels in Cheon An city. But...... Unfortunately, I spilt water into electric outlet on the bar. So I faced blackout entirely. All lights were off. Even lockrelease was also impossible. What's worse, the duty manager could not solve the situation. I shifted myself to another room only for sleeping leaving my luggage. Not good system!

The hotel is directly next to the train station. It is conveniently located to the downtown area. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The front desk person was very kind and helpful. We did not eat the breakfast, but we went to check it out. It was adequately stocked (cereal, toast, eggs, sausages, coffee, etc). Nothing amazing, but also did not look "bad". We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I wanted to check out the Cheonan World Dance Festival 2013 and needed a place to stay for one night. We found the E Cheonan Hotel and stayed in a Deluxe Double Room. Overall I would say it compares favorably to similarly priced Korean tourist hotels. It's better than a love motel, but there are probably better options if you want to pay more. Both of us were satisfied with the comfort level, price, room size, and the staff. The bed was comfortable enough and they had a decent TV with plenty of channels. They also had two PCs in the room as well as free wifi which was a surprise and a big plus. We had to ask a couple questions at the front desk and they easily answered them all in English. The breakfast was a pretty typical for this kind of hotel, a simple mix of Western food and Korean food. It was just a few minutes by taxi from the train station, but out of the three taxi rides we took to the hotel, none of the drivers had ever heard of E Cheonan Hotel. They were all able to type the address in to their navigation system though so it wasn't a problem. We didn't see much of Cheonan itself except for the Dance Festival and the downtown area near the department store, but it seemed like a nice city. I'm not sure that we will ever go back to Choenan, but if we did we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
