Relaxing 'onsen' hot springs on top floor”
Dormy Inn Osaka Natural Hot Springs (Tanimachi) is located close to Osaka's main business district, halfway between the 'Kita' to the north and "Minami' to the south, which are both entertainment areas. So, it is quiet at night and can be reached quite easily by a short 1.000 yen or so taxi ride from these areas. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. After a long day sightseeing or meeting clients, you can also take a nice, relaxing dip in the hot springs on the top floor to soak away your aches and pains. This bath area is open until 4 a.m. I think I will definitely be staying here again when I next visit Osaka.

Wonderful Amenities! ”
We stayed at a couple Dormy Inns during our trip to Japan and this one was my favorite! It’s about a 10 minute walk from the metro station, so getting around Osaka and also out to Kyoto and Nara was quite easy. The amenities were excellent...complimentary late night noodles and beer was a nice touch! Although I didn’t use the hot springs bath, the ladies spa room was clean and well-stocked with all bath and skin products. The hotel also offers a free shuttle every half an hour from the morning to early afternoon to nearby rail stations, which is definitely helpful when it rains!

Excellent hotel within the heart of Osaka”
This is the first time I stay with Dormy Inn hotel branch and they did not disappoint. The location was within walking distance to Osaka castle and to Dotonbori only take a 20mins walk. Hotel hot springs is nice, breakfast was good and staffs were very friendly. Would stay there again next time I am in Osaka.

Quite a new hotel with good facilities”
I have had quite some experience staying with Dormy Inn about half a dozen time, and am very pleased with this one. The hotel seems to be quite new, and actually I notice there is a so called opening celebration, providing free beer, wines, sake etc for free ramen supper, which is my first time ever to have alcohol included. The location is quite convenient, which is a 7 min walk from the nearest subway station, and going to Higashi (East) Umeda is 3 subway stops away; and you may walk to Osaka train station from there. Nearby are some eateries and convinence stores plus a supermarket right opposite. The room is quite spacious with standard toiletries provided, and the top level is an onsen plus sauna, the use of which is included in the room charge. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are courteous and helpful. Included breakfast is of pretty good standard. It is of very good value for the price we pay.

In house onsen complimentary use for guests and breakfast selection is wide and yummy”
The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Tanimachi 4 chrome station (Exit 4). It is relatively new so everything is fresh and clean. Room size is decent, able to place big luggage on floor and still have walking space. Beds are comfortable but toilet a bit cramp. Plus point is the breakfast and onsen which was great to use after a tiring day of sightseeing. Will return if price is kept attractive, with complimentary onsen and supper at night thrown in because location is away from main attraction except Osaka castle which is 15 minutes walk.

Modern Hotel”
The hotel is quite new and with good facilities, and is about 12 mins walk from nearest subway station, and within walking distance to Osaka Castle. The staff are courteous and can speak reasonable English, and I was given room upgrade during this visit. It has communal hot spa and sauna, that my wife and I enjoy. It provides free night time ramen, like all other Dormy Inn in Japan, and in addition, from 7-9pm, there’s free flow of beer, wine, and sake, though I think inadvertently may encourage undesirable behaviour. Down near the reception area is free coffee and tea all time. The room is well maintained and quite well sound insulated and free wifi is of good quality. One negative is of its clientele, as it has tour group and those guests are pretty noisy, not showing enough courtesy to others at times, and eating takeaway foods in the dining area in a somewhat disorderly way during the happy drinking hours. They also generate noise in the communal bath area on occasions.

Wonderful Stay”
Incredibly relaxing stay at Dormy Inn Tanimachi! The location is very convenient--just a 15 minute walk to most places in central Osaka. Our whole trip was so much better taking a quick soak each morning and a longer one each evening. The breakfast buffet is delicious, too!

Awesome place!”
I’ll def recommend to others! New opening, free drink n raman, large room but budget price, easy access to metro + shuttle bus to namba everyday; most important of all, the hot spring! Believe me you will appreciate this after sightseeing/shopping in Osaka. It’s also located in the quieter area which more suitable for those traveling with elders/babes or those don’t want much late night activities. The only thing that I think could be approve is, the clothing provide to wear in hotel. That’s really..... no comment. Hope to could be at least more stylish or even simple yukata is better. Overall we are impressed by this hotel and had a great time here!

A perfect place to stay”
Before going there, I hesitated to choose this hotel becasue all of my friends want to stay at a hotel located in Nanba station. However, my choice was perfect. Last year, I stayed at DormyInn in Tokyo. At that time, I was satisfied with everything, including facilities and service. Even though DormyInn Tanimachi is not as good as Hotels in Nanba from the perspective of accessibility. However, all the effort to find this hotel finally paid off and it was easy to find this hotel from Nanba Station. Therefore, I want to visit again with my family in near future and I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who plans to visit Osaka.

Great Hotel with Onsen”
This hotel is about 5-minute walk from tanimachi 4-chome station. However, the nearest exit is not equipped with elevator or escalator. You may want to take a bit further exit (1A) in order to ride a lift. The hotel staffs were helpful as they allow me to leave my luggages overnight with them when I went for a side trip to Kinosaki Onsen. They also provide a shuttle bus to Shinsaibashi and Nankai Namba station on a first come first serve basis (limited to 9 PAX) until noon. Due to their new opening period, they offer free beverages at night (21.00-23.00) apart from their regular ramen. Although their breakfast is mainly Japanese, it comes with wide selection of food and great taste. Their onsen facilities are new and great. They also provide washing and drying machines with a cost of 100 yen per one drying which is very handy for long-stay travelers. Guest lounge in the lobby is nice for refill your water supply for your day. However, their facilities are quite crowded at the peak hour, you may need to time your use wisely. One small thing is that I found a small bag of trash on the table in my room one day after I had checked in. I guess the housekeeper forgot to take it out. All in all, great hotel by Dormy Group.

Value for money: new and clean”
Pros: - just two stations to Shinsaibashi - 20 mins walking distance to Osaka castle - newly opened in 2018 - convenient store just opposite to the hotel - free onsen, noodles, wine and beer - great breakfast: with steak and okonomiyaki - free bicycle rental for first 2 hours - free shuttle bus to shinsaibashi and namba before 12nn Cons(not really related to the hotel itself): - too many mainland Chinese tourists - the closest metro exit near the hotel doesn’t have any lifts

두번째 방문(Second visit)”
Went to this hotel in July and loved it, so I took my granny with me. Just like last time I wasn’t disappointed at all and decided to go to the 13th floor hot spring that I didn’t check out last time. As soon as I went in I was mad at myself that I never bothered to visit that hot spring earlier! Do check if breakfast is included while booking cuz if not it’s 1500 yen per person per day. A bit expensive but I think it’s still worth your money. I also checked in at 1pm but never had any issues and they let me in no problem, and even with the divided reservation(26-28,28-29th) they combined the two for us. Highly recommended!

Location is good near the subway”
Location is good and remember train station is at TANIMACHI YONCHOME exit number 4! It’s about 3-5mins walk from the hotel. Facilities are really good!! Free onsen, unli ramen and beer, laundry area and free shuttle to Namba station! This is my 4th time staying at Dormy Inn :) Room is a bit small... note that this is the Japan standard!

Nice hotel”
New and clean, with very nice natural hot spring. The spa is opened from 3pm to 10am (next day), so we get to enjoy the spa at night after travelling during daytime. They provide free ramen and alcohol drinks at 9pm-11pm. They provide nice buffet breakfast and free luggage storage as well. Location wise, it’s not really close to the busy area (dotonbori, shinsaibashi etc), but they do provide free shuttle service to shinsaibashi/ namba at certain hours.

Absolutely the best hotel I have stayed”
We've travelled in Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, etc. We have found that this hotel is absolutely the best hotel we have stayed. It is brand new, rooms are very very clean, free ramen and beer at night, and the spa is beautiful. The staff from the moment we showed up was receptive and spoke both English and Chinese. When we bumped into a small issue, the staff was very understanding and compensated us fairly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the osaka area.
