Dong-gu hotels & places to stay

I booked this room for its price and it looked clean from online pictures. Upon arrival I was correct as both were as expected. The staff was friendly, it was clean, the price was below other options, it's directly linked to airport. My room looked out onto the runway where people were boarding for Jeju, Beijing or other destinations, but I never heard a plane or people from within the room. I don't think people could look into room, but I drew the curtain anyway. My only complaint was the location. It isn't far from subway lines or buses or taxis, but there is very little within walking distance to see or do. Nor is there much to do at the hotel itself. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to stay and rate it highly.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The location is pretty central. The rooms were very clean and bright. Enjoyed the functional Jacuzzi unlike in other places. Everyday the room was cleaned up without interrupting us. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend it and will come back again here.

Its the motel but I went to sleep there with my friend (2 girls). We are happy with the facility. The bath, the massage chair. My friend, she requested for extra towel and we can get it immediately. The room is very nice and clean. The location is a bit far from the station but still easily to walk. (10 mins) The staff is very helpful. I was booked with Agoda but I think Agoda booked through booking.com so the room type was wrong on their confirmation system from booking.com. However, the manager has done a great job to put me into the room i requested and pay for. However, they dont really provide powerpoint. You have to remove some away. Luckily, I always carry the extra external powerpoint with me.

Check-in was fast and easy. My deluxe room was clean and spacious. My room had a jacuzzi, and in the welcome bag, there was a bubble bath packet that I used in the jacuzzi. There was water, coffee, and juice in the mini-fridge. I read reviews complaining about noise, but I didn’t hear anything despite going to bed at 2am. I could hear footsteps in the hallway, but after I closed the inner door, I couldn’t hear any noises from outside. In the morning, I walked to Dongdaegu Station after checking out. It’s a 20-minute walk, but it’s a very straight walk. You don’t have to turn left or right the entire way. I had a rolling suitcase and duffel bag, and had no problems getting to the station. I would definitely stay here again the next time I fly in to Daegu!

The motel is definitely in the style of a "love motel". I never had any real interation with the staff (family owned and operated, I believe). The information desk (front desk) is behind opaque glass with an opening in one corner for transactions. My room and bathroom were in decent shape, although the view from the window was of a building a few feet away. The hotel can be reached easily by walking from the station. The motel is in Dong-gu, and do not let anyone try to convince you to look for it in Jung-gu (there must be a hotel or lodging of some sort in Jung-gu with a similar name).

Very near train, subway and inter-city bus stations. You can go from here to every where in Korea. The motel is old but clean and the staff is nice. Because it's old fashion, therefore the room is relatively large. There is plenty restaurants and convenient stores or small local supermarket nearby. Only one negative point, the pipe is leaking under the sink though not severely. There is no bath curtain so the bathroom is almost always wet. And there is no window. But because of the low price, the place really worth every penny and will stay there again if I need to catch an early bus.
