Family of 4 and we just made a quick one night trip to Hsinchu City. We were really happy with Dar Lon Hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful (could tell they were nervous about their English but did really well and helpful to us). Complimentary fruit / ice cream was a nice surprise when we arrived. Clean and comfortable stay. We would stay again.

Super clean, comfortable and value for money hotel that met our every need”
We were given a promotion and that made the hotel one of the best accommodation we stayed in terms of value for money. It was exceptionally clean and the rooms were non carpet, extremely hygienic and modern-looking. The decor was nice and the beds truly comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the indoor suana in the large bathroom which we enjoyed and appreciated tremendously. Dinner was fantastic and included western food in generous portions amidst soothing classical music. We were given discounts at the restaurant as well as welcome fruits and drinks. Breakfast was great as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and certainly the hotel I would stay again the next time Im in Hsinchu.

Overall is good.”
Repeated visit, comfortable as it is. We were brought up to the room by the one of its staffs as usual, the staff was average experienced. The other downside was we were first assigned to room 912 with faulty lights but was changed to another room with normal function quite swiftly, thumbs up.

Great room, but that's about it.”
Arrived early around 930am, so I'm aware it's not check-in time yet. However, I was hoping to leave my luggage there, and was waiting at the counter for someone to respond to me waiting (because they look busy?) Despite having other guests come and go, the counter staff did not once ask me if I needed any help, until I finally spoke up. No apologies or anything, just more of "So what do you want kind of attitude". Lady with glasses was much more polite. The other lady was way worse. Nothing much around the hotel. Will need to walk quite a distance before anything interesting. Seems like a relatively undeveloped area with constructions going on around, so not a very nice environment around. Room was great, but the toilet was constantly giving off a foul smell in it, despite us opening up all windows and all. Other than that, love the huge toilet and space in the room. Bed was very comfortable too. Breakfast spread and quality was pretty good, but not much other facilities.

Even though this hotel is business hotel, the service is much kind and sweet. Especially you could enjoy the steam bath in the room for relaxation. Regarding the location, this hotel is just nearby the downtown, actually, just cross the railway. Within 5 min. you could arrive Hsinchu Station, Big City Mall, and East Gate Tower. Within 10 min, you could enter into Freeway No.1 and Sicence Industrial Park.

Excellent facilities, extremely caring staff!”
New hotel, very nice facilities, they even have steam sauna in each room's bathroom. Extremely polite and friendly staff, one staff will walk you to your room with no expectation of a tip; exceptionally spacious room with more wardrobes that you can fill up; good-size bathroom is well equipped with all the necessities. The only draw-back - it is not in the city centre, but a big supermarket (大润发) is within 5 mins walking distance. We had a last minute change of plan that required us to check-out earlier and the hotel was very gracious in cancelling the remaining days of stay and refunding the hotel charges.

I did not expect to have heat exchange air condition and steam heating bathroom at this price but they have. Also washlet toilet. Welcome tea services at lobby make me feel they are not just a general business hotel and also a big dish of cut fruit service at room. Breakfast is also very variety and relax. Location is not the best but can access main spots by taxi in few meters only
