Value for Money”

Pros- Location: literally 3 minutes walking distance away from Dong Men station (exit 6) & 5 mints away from Daan Park. 5 mints walking distance to Yong Kang Street- great for a local breakfast & night walk local food hunting. Fascility: washing machine provided (30 minutes quick wash- NTD10 for 20 minutes) Cleanlines: great. Cons- Ventilation: bathroom ventilation not as good, always need to keep the only bathroom window opened to air. Space: room space for 3 person room is a bit small. Security: 1 guy stayed/ camped at the common area for at least 5 nights during our 6 nights stay. Other than that, great place to stay.

Visiting taipei”

Everything is really nice, price, locations, services, staff. A really nice stay in Daan Park Hotel. One thing is just the lack of space in the dormitory to put your stuffs. Otherwise everything perfect :)

Excellent”

The area was accessible to the train station, which makes it great. It’s also near Daan Park and U-bike rental. The beds were soft. There’s also free potable water, coffee, and free use of their fridge, percolator, and microwave. I just have a comment on the maintenance of the comfort room, since it’s common and it only gets cleaned in the morning. But all in all, experience in the hotel was perfect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a very satisfying experience in Daan park hotel. Staffs were very helpful when I had encountered a self-check-in problem. There was a very near biggest park where I can take a breath. I will definitely book again. Thank you for the service

Hotel-like hostel”

Very clean hostel and comfortable matress. I had a very good sleep. Towels are provided. I liked the view of the hostel, the lounge area was nice to sit. There is a kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Location is good l like that area and Daan Park is very closeby. Self check-in was not a problem and l am used to use the card system. You need to be careful about that because at night there is noone at the reception.

Cozy, futuristic, nice accommodation ”

Pros: very clean self service on check in and out' theres a machine outside to do that. Location is near dongmen and daan park station. Great for solo, millenials, group travellers Highly recommended. Con: Staff is not 24hrs just in case theres an emergency, no one will assist. Never seen any staff during our stay but it was ok for me. Not really a problem.

Pros: walking distance to Dongmen subway station, opposite Daan Park, clean. No frills. Value for money. Has a private room and bunk beds too. Cons: it is a tiny place so there’s only one small sofa area in the common area. Walls are thin but the other guests were quiet after 10pm.

Great experience ”

We were travelling with two young children, the location of the hotel was perfect, close to mrt and all sort of facilities, the room a bit small but other than that well worth the money spent, even though we had to share bathroom but it always been kept clean and tidy no odour. The staff were very nice and helpful, our flight back home was a midnight flight, we checked out at 11am and left all our luggages in the lounge room, they even helped us to look after it while we tried to spend a little more time experiencing Taipei in the last day. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely going back next time.

The hotel is right in front of a bus station and within walking distance to 2 MRT stations. There's a 7-11 2 blocks away. The entrance and elevator were great. The check-in process was super amazing, a new experience. The whole hotel was elegant and super clean. Everything you could ever need is provided. Towels (big and small), slippers, shampoo, soap, hairdryer, toothbrush, etc. They even have more than enough universal sockets to charge several devices. The beds were comfy with a lot of pillows and a huge comforter. They also offer hot and cold drinking water, tea and coffee, a microwave, etc. Overall, we had a perfect stay and would stay only there if we are ever back in Taipei.

Worth every penny”

We booked the triple bed room as there were three of us. The room wasn't the biggest but it looked like the picture and was comfortable. Toiletries were provided as well. Was pleasantly surprised by the female toilet as it was very clean and dry (a reason may be because during our stay there were only 2 other females apart from the 3 females in my room). A five minute walk to the train station as well, and conveniently located as many food places to eat. Definitely worth the stay and I would stay here again if I frequented Taipei.

The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Great check in/ check out system. Our room is wonderful because of the window view along Xinyi Rd (along Chiang kai-shek, Taipei 101). The place is near Dongmen station, just a minute away, I think. However, I think hotels near Taipei Main Station are the best place since most of the tourist spots can be reached thru connecting trains to/from Taipei Main Station. Overall, great place to stay and relax after a long tiring day of walking 👌🏼

Convenient location, clean and comfortable facilities--Must stay!”

I've traveled and stayed at many hostels in Asia, but this was by far one of the cleanest and luxurious places to stay for a solo traveler. Great beds with AC and some free amenities, like towels, slippers, and shampoo. The location, albeit a little tricky to find as it's located on the 8th floor of a building with limited signage, is perfect: near many famous Taiwanese restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and shops and only a 3 min walk to the MRT. The receptionist is pretty hands off, allowing travelers to do their own thing, but still are approachable and helpful when necessary. Definitely would recommend this to anyone visiting Taipei for a weekend!

Shared but didn't felt shared at all”

its a around 10-15 mins walk from the nearest train station depending on your phase, there are convenient stores nearby, a bus stop and eating places also. Its a very quiet area and you can find banks near the area, when we stayed here we went to Taipei 101 by foot but it maybe quite far for some. Although its just one floor, you can feel the hotel vibe because of the interior, i didn't feel that it was as shared space because most if the time I dont see other guest walking around. The only problem i encountered its the Air-condition unit has molds like , it was not maintained but the room is just right space to put a luggage and to sleep in also sockets for charging is on wall, dont need to get up to plug.

Location, location & location!”

Loving this hostel / hotel. However, the single room I stayed has a bit of smell from the moist carpet, which it'll disappear once air-conditioned is on, but loving the location! Recommend to take a walk in the Da'an Park, which is just down the corner of the street.

The space was quite small but situated in Daan, so wasn't too surprising. Didn't like the mustiness, but liked the decor and location. For the price, it was satisfactory

An island of cool in Taipei”

Japanese style hotel in a good location in Taipei, breakfast system is weird, its a voucher to go to a Yoshinoya 10 minutes away walking, weird. The staff is only there until 8PM, either than that you rely on the caretaker of the building being up. But great, clean, good value for money in expensive Taipei. Weird systems, but would stay again, staff is nice enough too

Worth staying hostel”

The location is perfect which is only 3 minute walk to Dongmen station, and takes only 10 minutes by metro to Taipei main station. It's a small and cozy place, and suitable for those who stay short time.

A valuable booking”

Everything was very good (clean room/facilities and convenient location, nice staff, quiet environment, many nice places around). However, as there is no receptionist outside working hour, you have to check carefully with the hotel first if you would like to leave your luggage at the hotel in the early morning or pick up your luggage in the late evening. Otherwise, there will be no one there to open the door for you.

Cute budget hotel”

Had a great stay at this hotel. Got it for a really good price too. It's close to lots of yummy food stalls and the subway station. I really liked the modern interiors. The hotel is a bit hard to find though. It's on the 8th floor of the building beside a temple. Other than that, everything was good.
