A nice, modern hotel, 10 minute walk from Pachtakor / Alisha Navoy metro station. Nice food in restaurant - prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

PRO: Hotel is clean, our room is very spacious and clean bathroom. Location is great. CONS: Wifi is slow inside the room, air conditioning is not that cold, the lady at the reception looked like she hated her job, but other staff is okay.

I wish they had computers for guests to use and I would recommend more protein options for breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon). Cost about $10/100,000 som for a taxi from the airport or about $2/20,000 som from the train station (taxi drivers might attempt to rip you off)

Staff are lovely but the guests are awful chatting all night on a table right outside your window. Its too noisy and the location of the breakfast area is too close to the rooms. Bring earplugs or you wont sleep a wink. To be fair I cannot fault the hotel staff...they were lovely.

Great breakfast. Helpful owner. Right next to main sites so we could walk around a drop back into the hotel for rest or free tea. The local is in the old town so not many restaurants arround but a short taxi ride away. Best b&b we had in Uzbekistan

Good location close to the main market. Pleasant courtyard breakfast area. Owner/manager speaks good English; can arrange airport taxi. Supermarket and restaurants 5-10 minute walk. No problems or issues when I was there, and I would stay there again.

This family-run guesthouse or mini hotel had been my home thrice since I made the ancient city the hub for regional travel to Shakhrisabz and Bukhara. We spent two different nights at the Star Hotel. The rooms were clean and nice, and the breakfast was good. Our favorite part was the staff, especially the young man at the reception with a great smile. Really enjoyed our stay.

It is close to Nukus meseum . It has a clean room and decent restaurant. I book the tour to Aral Sea. It is well organized and the Monogolian yurk is fabulous . It is spacious and has clean bed for me to sleep

I have tried one other place in Samarkand before going to Emir's, and for the same price Emir is much better. The facilities are clean and well decorated. The common area is comfortable and big. The staff was nice and helpful with us. I'd definitely go back.

I stayed 4 nights there, and felt like my home. 10 minutes walk to the railway station, but slightly far to city center (Amir Timur square) Rooms are clean, and staffs are friendly and helpful. WiFi speed is as good as in Singapore

Art Hostel's a good base for exploring Tashkent. I liked that the beds weren't bunk beds, but each had reading lamps and outlets. Situated right inside Itchan-Kala, and a nice tea house is just nearby. Room is clean and the owner, Jaladdin is willing to share every info about the city.
