excelent stay at the kings court hotel. i'd been in prague on the begining of 2002 and had a lousy stay due to the czech hotel concept at the time (poor and not adequato to the star ranting). this time i got the best of prague, and an excelent service at the king court. recomend it for everything, from the service to the location.
Everything was great about this hotel...with the exception of 2 things. (1) Our shower did not have a shower head holder. In order to shower, we had to hold up the shower head the entire time. This can get difficult when you're trying to wash your hair, use soap, shave, etc. We thought perhaps this was a 'Czech Republic Thing', but our friends were staying in another r...
the location is good and foods are delicious with cheap price. the room is quite clean. the only thing we're not satisfied is hotel wanted to charge us extra euro for 2nd people, even i have reserved double room, but hotel said only max 1 people could stay, the 2nd one should pay extra. fortunately, under the help of bookings and agoda, sovereign exempt the extra fees....
It was in the main city but everywhere was walkable. There was a restaurant outside the hotel which had the best risotto and czech beer. Romana, the receptionist was the most delightful and beautiful girl during my stay. She helped with everything. I even left a gift that I bought upon check-out in the room but they were quick to be contacted via email and found it, FE...
Nice small hotel, 4 min walking from the famous Narodni Museum. Staff is very nice and helpful. They gave us amazing tips, where to find original Czech Food.
Fusion is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The dorms are more like stripped down four star hotel rooms, with two bathrooms per 6 bed room. The rooms, including linens, were cleaned daily. Everything was new, modern, and sparking. The staff, especially Jakob at the reception, were above and beyond the call of duty, going out of their way to make sure to acco...
The hotel was stunning we had a fabulous room right opposite the astrological clock in the Old Town Square our 6 year old and 8 year old loved sitting on the window sill watching the clock, they never tired of the skeleton ringing the bell, and the apostles moving past the open doors. The room was extremely large, with a very large bathroom, the room was spotless, the ...
Great, modern hotel at a really good location. Close to Vaclavske Namesti, city centre, train station. The rooms are spacious, bright and colourful. Buffet breakfast was included and was great. You can also sit outside in the courtyard. There are cool film posters throughout for cult Czech movies. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Great place!
This hotel was beautiful, just what i was expecting of a typical czech hotel. we had a beautiful view out over the river. But and this is a big BUT, the hotel is situated on the busy main road, going through Prague, with trams trundeling along. Also its opposite the largest european disco ( so it said) so if your very sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. w...
Last min booking for morning departure flight back home. Was told to have a 6-people dorm instead of 4-people. It was so cheap that I did not ask for compensation. Plus, What could I ask for? It's fine as the reception staff member was so nice. Room is clean with lockers provided. Location is good, which is walking distance from station. Uber to airport or from airport...
Is my second time at Prague and I love this Hotel, total recmend it. The location is perfect and the price is absolutely worth it. The view was amazing and the staff and furniture gave me the best support for the trip. Totally recommend it.
I had one of the best experience staying in a hotel anywhere here, and I've literally traveled to almost every corner of the globe. I arrived early and not expected to be able to check in at 8.30 in the morning so I just walked in just to ask to leave my luggage at the concierge and, to my surprise, the reception was very helpful and found me a room right then and ther...
Iron Gate hotel is very centrally located from the Old Town square with a number of little markets and excellent restaurants and bars right around. It's in a very safe location and the staff were very kind and helpful. Room was huge with 2 bathrooms and a little lounge area. Breakfast was the best we have had in a European hotel. So all in all this hotel and staff dese...
Pros - no more than 5 - 10 mins from main square, good restaurants and bars. - executive suite made into 2 large bedrooms with king size beds. - kitchen and fridge area. - use of an app to store key card info for later check in. - very helpful staff on reception. - lift to all floors. - secure main entrance and rooms. - safe in the room. - 2 free standing fans ...
This is located in a mainly residential neighborhood so it's nice and quiet. There are restaurants and bars within feet of the front door but I never heard any noise. There is a cafe/coffee house about 50 yards away and several mini markets just a block a way. The main train station is an easy walk downhill from the hotel- took us perhaps 15 mins to walk. (It might b...
What a wonderful hotel. Staff were amazing and helpful. In particular the porter/concierge named Roman! Rooms were on the small side, however this was far outweighed by the clenliness and terrific location. Travelling with young children it is important to us to be in family friendly and safe part of big cities, this was both. Breakfast were excellent! The ONLY negativ...
The location is middle of the old town. It is very busy area. But in our room is very very quiet. The Charles bridge is only few min, and to the old town hall is also few min from the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially, a girl who speaks Japanese was very polite and nice. Although we had trouble with hot water every night, she helped us very quickl...
Perfect location, Nice rooms. Employees could be more welcoming, no concierge most time of the day at the lobby. Not suitable for a baby stroller to get in and there is no one to help. Breakfast is really 4-star hotel level and even there no one had asked to pay to caffe latte or cappuccino for breakfast. People were coming with their Starbucks breakfast coffee cups f...
The hotel was really nice overall, a great value, and it's in the center of everything. After arriving, I had lunch at the hotel restaurant, which was surprisingly good. Guest service is excellent and obviously important to management and employees. Hard to beat the value. Breakfast was also excellent (and included!), with made-to-order omelettes and European coffe...
Arrived in Prague and told by pre booked driver we had chosen one of best hotels. We arrived at a beautiful looking 1517 building with a warm welcome and decor that was so beautiful you have to see it. Appropriate for the age but so grand. One of our relations on FB replied saying it looked like the hotel was made of gold. Slept fantastic and breakfast was 100% even a...
Tram and bus stop just steps across the street from hotel. UAN Florenc bus station only 5 min walk, from there you can take Flix bus or Rejiojet to other town in Czech. Breakfast is nice, room is clean and comfy. However staff need more smile to make guests feel welcome.
The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning. They offer a variety of meats, fresh fruit and sweets. Delicious. We would definitely stay there again. The "Husinek" Restaurant, which is one block away, is also a great choice if you would like to try some great traditional Czech dishes and beer. More afordable than the restaurants i...
We had a great time in Prague and staying at Rott made it more convenient because of its perfect location and friendly hospitable staff. They have a restaurant that serves awesome local Czech food for good value.
The staff were very nice and help u when u need anything, I really enjoyed it so much and I will be back there when coming to Czech again
We took this room with discound 48% and that is the only reason because of I can't be total dissapointed. 1. We took this hotel because of praking for our car. During the reservation there was no note about parking, just information that this hotel have a parking. In all other hotels there was a notification about price for parking. After we came they said to us we ha...
Good location but nice and quiet. We’re from the uk and our son lives in Prague so we have visited many times. This represents the best value for money we have experienced.
I chosed this hotel when i booked it coz it looks very spelendid . And after I arrived there, i found that it's very convenient to every sightseeing spot, which i could go by walk . This is what I felt satisfied with it . Hotel room is very nice but still a little bit low of my expectations. I thought it would be larger .And the room is not rectangle size ,which ma...
Perfect hotel for its location and quietness in a small street that’s very near to republic square . Staff is extremely helpful . Nice restaurant around the hotel
The location in Prague 2 was good: It takes 20 minutes to walk to old town. We enjoyed the amenities. We did wish that we could have had English subtitles on the TV since all channels are in Czech. We came in winter, so do not know about air conditioning.
Stunning hotel within minutes of the Powder Tower and the Old Town Square. If you are looking for the building with the grand stair case on Hybernská, you won't find it as it is on the back side of the building where a charming garden sits. Great Czech restaurant across the street and another one within a 5 minute walk called Cafe Imperial. There are also two mini-m...
Cheap places to stay in Czech Republic
Czech Inn is a very nice and well kept hostel. The shared bathrooms are kept clean and the bedding is clean and white. The staff are willing to help travellers with tram tickets, directions, vegetarian restaurants, whatever you need! The Czech Inn is located across the road from a fantastic Vegetarian Restaurant called Plevel. Look it up on the internet, it has great...
One of the best hostels in Prague. Localisation not bad very close to public transport (one tram to city centre). Rooms clean, breakfast very nice. Take it, as for this price nothing better you may find.
Everything is prefect, the staff are nice, the room is clean ( I booked 6 beds and 4 beds but I prefer 6 beds ) the staff are very helpful and the hostel is close to the city centre, if I ever travel to Prague again, I still go with this hostel
I'm a hygiene priority person and I'd give 10/10 for it's cleanliness. Probably the cleanest n most tidy hostel bathroom I've been so far. No cheap eats but there are 3 convenience stores around. Location is not far from the old town(only a few stations away, a 30mins tix at 24czk is sufficient). However before my check out, I flipped over my blanket to ensure I left...
Staff at front desk were nice. We booked a room for two and got a room with 5 beds (other 3 beds was covered). The room, shower room and toilet looked all clean but kind of sneezy. At night there were some green mosquitos or some bugs dropping on my bed. Our neighbors seemed to have a excellent party -drinking, talking, singing and even dancing - till 23:00. We felt a...
Pros: -Cheap and worth it, good choice for backpackers/ solo travelers, affordable -very supportive and friendly staff. They tried to answer all my questions and solve my problems in a polite and friendly way. They even helped me to carry to baggage upstairs because I could not do it myself. -24-hour check-in counter. That means you can find someone to help whenever y...
I was here before, the kitchen was better equipped then, most the staff is friendly and helpful, they have some issues with agoda. I was hesitant about booking to many night from current rating but think it's low I added nights. like all hostel these days few people seem to live there way it is nowadays. Prague is a party town the hostel has tried to keep quite hour...
Fine stay here with very friendly hostel staff. Clean and comfortable hostel. Only let down would be the amenities aren't the best, only one shower and two toilets, can get a bit over crowded.
We took this room with discound 48% and that is the only reason because of I can't be total dissapointed. 1. We took this hotel because of praking for our car. During the reservation there was no note about parking, just information that this hotel have a parking. In all other hotels there was a notification about price for parking. Best place to stay when you are traveling to Prague, I arrived at 7 am and they allowed me to take a bath and put our luggages before checked in. When checked out, they also allowed us to take a bath at 6 pm and gave us towel. What a great hospitality...very recommend this hotel.Near to Metro and Tram is a plus
Easy to arrive If you come to prague by bus(florenc), good value breakfast buffet 60kr(yoghurt, muesli, cheese, ham, jam, fruit), quiet at night even at the biggest room, Nice atmosphere, good kitchen and common area, wifi works, cheap tap beer 29kr, helpful staff! Downside: annoying shower(you have to keep pressing a button all the time for water), needs more power pl...
The hostel was very easy to find from the nearest station. The night staff when we arrived was horrible - foul attitude and unfriendly towards us - and we were happy not to have to interact with her again. Booked a twin bedroom but got a room for 4. No other guests joined us. Big, bright room. 12th floor with an amazing view of the city. The layout of the room was go...
Everything is well equipped inside the hostel. The bed is comfortable and you can have unlimited hot water supply in washrooms. They clean the rooms everyday so it's very clean and neat. The best thing I have to mention is that when you check in, the receptionist will give you a detailed introduction of the whole city. Maybe it'll take you five to ten minutes standing ...
If I could give Sir Toby‘s 10 stars, I would! The hostel is absolutely charming, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. It also has a bar downstairs with the most incredible vibe, so you‘ll definitely meet some new friends there. I know I certainly won‘t forget the amazing friends I‘ve made at Sir Toby‘s! I was also pleasantly surprised with the free get-togethers they...
It’s not easy to get there without car.
It was my first time came to Prague, I did some basic research before I decided to stay here and I thanked my intuition for that. The location is so great, near Mustek Station, grocery store, Prague bus station and also near the Prague old town, you literally only need to walk to go to some interesting places. The dorm and toilet were clean, the breakfast was nice, and...
Great and quiet stay very near the city center. Very good price value, comfortable and clean. Very good WiFi internet, friendly and helpful staff and reception. Thanks all.
I booked this hostel because I read all the positive comments on the website. I would say that the hostel is good and the staff are very friendly. The people living inside are mostly nice. There is one thing that bothered me during my stay: the paint odor or the odor from the wood decoration in the rooms. Could be improved.
Pros: easy to find, walking distance to tourist area (20mins), near tram station, value for money, helpful staffs on where to go and best restaurants, clean and spacious room, nice shared dining & kitchen, free tea and coffee Cons: small bathroom, early check out time (10am), no lift (saddest part)
The bed is comfortable. Good sleep. Free towel. There are two toilets and two shower rooms. The kitchen is small, shared space also. Maybe you can not cook. Location is good, near the old square. It takes 10 minutes from Bus station in front of Grand hotel. There is no lighting on the bed side. The electric outlet is not enough.
Good location with pubs and shops in the area. Lot of noice from the street and from the bars. Very good value for money. As a curiosity.. I have never had so much stuff stolen from me as here.. coffee, bread, cheese.. you name it. And judging by the notes left in the kitchen area by other travellers, stealing other peoples food seems to be a norm in this hostel.
For the price paid it is much better than expected. Tram stop is located just cross the road. Staffs are friendly and the place is clean, wifi is good. room is spacious. It is perfect if you just need a comfort bed with less people in the dorm.
Nothing to complain abt this hostel. Everything was so good. The room was spacious and clean. Toilet was always clean. Location can be access by tram from the main station. And near the tourist area as well. Perfect!
It was a nice stay with very good location. The receptionist is very friendly n welcoming. The main bus n train station r just in front of the hostel. The room is spacious n clean. However the only down side was that the door/wall was very thin n u can basically hear the sound from the toilet n also when others r opening m closing their room's door. Overall, it is stil...
If U get to Litomerice U should enjoy this Deal, communal bath and giant kitchen,as if from yesterday s construction so New and Clean
This place is good if you're on a budget and looking for a hostel with a good location. It's very near the city centre. There is a fridge in the room and a kitchen at the basement. There were some tourist brochures in the drawers and maps. However, there were too many people staying on one floor and some seem to be staying there long term. You can hear a lot of door sl...
The lady hotel owner could not do enough for me. I would stay there again...good value
The location has little far but the service is good. The master of hostel will tell you useful information. The facilities is like a home and all facilities are enough for everyone. The price is low.
had the best time ever. for a B&B/hostel, it is so clean!.. well maintained, wonderful staff and best ever free dinners, and tours.. had super fun time partying.
I needed to stay two nights and have a hotel not too far from the main sports arena. PTH was the closest available. The route to there was quite easy. Since I had no luggage worth mentioning, it was easy to walk there from the main bus station (more than 1 km though). If you have luggage, take a taxi, since no public transport goes there, at least not along Volgogradsk...

Stayed for two enjoyable nights and will go back. The hotel has the best location in town - on the river and across from the castle with unforgettable views from the rooms - the restaurant is right by the river and food/service are both first rate. Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is in the keller and there is a good variety of foods served buffet...
The biggest room we have in our trip. Free Wifi. Good location near the castle and Charles bridge. We walked back and forth everyday. The staff is very helpful. We got problem with Toll sticker for driving on motorway. We bought from the post for 10-day type. The post office staff made the validation date wrong. We bought it in Dec, she made it Nov. If we didn't check,...
One of our best hotel experience. We have all we need in the room and the provision of a washer just hits the spot. The website did indicate washer/dryer although there was no dryer in our room. The radiator in the toilet helped with drying laundry overnight. Breakfast could do with some creativity but happy overall. Love having a balcony where we can share a bottle of...
Location a stone throw from the main train station, this designer hotel is very popular. As it was my boyfriend birthday, we received a free upgrade from the standard room. Staff were accommodating in assisting to arrange the pre-ordered flowers and champagne from the florist in my room prior to our check-in (although, a little hiccup - as they mixed up the rooms. but ...
The hotel is easy to reach with bus and metro from the airport and still situated very close to Charles Bridge on a quiet back-road with 10 minutes to the city centre. You need to be somewhat fit to use the hotel as there is no lift. The hotel is very clean and well run by friendly staff that speek excellent English. The restauran is very buzy and visited by the local...
The location is great, next to the river. Bus terminal, main street and castle are all about 10mins walk. The breakfast is good and restaurant to a river view is amazing. The bad point is the room without river room, but when we booked on Agoda, it said the room is with river view. We checked with the reception, it claimed it’s Agoda’s fault to provide incorrect info...
Very good hotel. We stay in Brno once or twice a year ( for 40 yrs plus)and this was our first booking at this hotel. Although this is at the edge of town it is not a problem. Our only problem was with the door lock to our room. Don't stay in 717! WE were locked out for about an hour. However, this was unfortunate and does not denigrate the good experience! WE are boo...
My prefect journey at Prague was started when I arrived the St Nicholas Hotel where I met Nuno (the manager). He awared that we had taken a long flight from HOng Kong to Czech so we arranged my families to check in earlier at 1030 he’s and invited us to take the breakfast which would be finished at 1100. Nuno then introduced everything in his hotel to us and gave m...
stay one night here. The staff very nice and helpful. Hotel just beside shuttle transfer company - Green Shuttle. Free sauna room provided with booking.
Very nice, clean ,room big and really five star. m impressed
Hotel Roma is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Best value for money, perfect location. It is walking very close to trams and walking distance to some tourist spots. The room is super big and has a tub. The breakfast, though not much of variety but very nice still. I will definitely book this hotel again if ever I will come back to Prague.
By no doubt one of the best hotel stays we had. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to Prague’s old town and to public transportation. The room was quite big, had lots of storage space, super-comfortable bad, very nice bathroom and Very high cleanness standard. The hotel’s restaurant was fantastic as we enjoyed the rich breakfast every morning and had couple...
I stayed for 2 nights at Pure White, and the entire stay was nothing short of fantastic. I was greeted by very friendly staff upon check in and was offered an upgrade of the room. The staffs were very attentive and helpful in explaining to me how to go around and the best ways to get to major attractions from the hotel. The room itself is huge and tastefully decorated ...
We emailed the hotel two days before of our arrival about how to get there from the Praha main train station, we were satisfied that we got a prompt response. Since we would arrive the train station quite late (about 7pm), we booked the hotel transfer service. Though it was a bit pricey (CZK 250), we thought it was necessary as the hotel was not near the train station,...
the room was a one bedroom apartment with two twin beds in the living room. i would recommend this spot to friends. it was very well situated for easy access to the charles bridge, old town square and restaurants in the best part of town. the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and pretty good sized. the only down side was that our room was above the st...
We hadn't expected that big room and cleanliness for that price. It turned out that the room was very spacious and clean with fully-equipped kitchen and washer & airer, and we loved it. We stayed only for a night but this room setting is really for those who stay longer. The only downside is, though not a big deal if we had known that before we got there, that night-ti...
Hotel near to Andel metro station, about 5 mins walk from hotel. A 10 mins walk to Shopping mall & good Chinese restaurant just a few steps away from the shopping mall. Friendly and helpful staff Jane, good ...

Our stay was very pleasant, comfortable and warm. The staff, especially Moussa, Lukas & one male & female staff from the reception were very kind and accommodating. Great hotel in a pretty convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge. Breakfast was included in the rate and there was good variety and it was available until 12 which was great. The best part was the common areas, there was probably as much floor space in the hotel dedicated to common lounges as to hotel rooms. There are only 8 rooms, so no common ar...
A wonderful stay. Staff was very helpful with booking restaurants, cabs and answering all our questions.
arrived at prague main station, and taxi drivers refused to take to the hilton, too close they say. another said....siesta. then some clone of bora tried to take over our itinerary. i hate the eurotrash that roam around the old eastern bloc countries - it is time the czech republic raised the standards so tourists can be safe, secure and enjoy their stay. called...
City Centre area, very close to old town square, tourist spot (all by walking distance), easy to get food (fast food, Italian, Czech food). I been staying lots of hotel in different countries ... I would highly recommend...
I decided to book room in Barcelo. I have arrived around 11:30am however it was to early as staff advised me there are no rooms available and check in starts at 3pm. Bed was not so soft and I ...
Very nice hotel close to major touristic places. Very easy commute everywhere, including other cities by train. Amazing Kosher buffet, breakfast and dinner. it also includes a Synagogue, a Mikvah and Daily prayers. Highly recommended for Jewish religious people and everyone who wants to enjoy Prague at its best. Will definitely stay there on my next visit to Prague
stayed in the marriott hotel early february, found the hotel clean, and very friendly staff. hotel is in a very good location, coffee shop at the corner as you head for the powder tower is very nice. rooms were very nice and cleaned every day and plenty of eating and drinking options. overall very happy with marriott in prague and would certainly go back. well worth it...
I stayed at Corinthia for 8 nights for a global conference at the conference centre a short walk away. There were 2 main disappointments: one was the pool/gym was not included (pool happy hour available at midday only), which I can understand is to manage the numbers of people using the facilities. I enjoyed the sauna and cold bath. My main disappointment was my trea...
We had choosen this Hotel due to the location as it was not our first visit to Prague. When I checked here, I was surprised that for a 5 Star Hotel, the price was almost like a 3 star property. Later I learned, that in Prague, the Hotels can give their own Star-Rating???!!! Even so, it was a very nice place, due to insulation it was absolutely quiet. Everything looked s...
Thankyou so much for looking after my parents so well upon their anniversary they were absolutely delighted with their surprise stay at your hotel and the staff particularly Marta Hochmanová (on front desk) was absolutely wonderful and caring in looking after them and making their trip so special. I also appreciate Marta (on the front desk) taking time in helping us...
Margo who runs the apartments was outstanding. I checked before going to ensure there was an iron and ironing board. Unfortunately it was not there when we needed it. Margo has a taxi deliver her own personal iron from home to the apartments. Can’t ask for more than that. We will return for sure.
The hotel is located on walking distance from the city centre. The metro station is also on the corner. The internet in the hotel was down, because of problems with the provider. We as business travels, went to the Mac Donalds next door to use the internet. The hotel is nice, but for us it's not a 5 star hotel, it would be more a 4 star hotel.
Not a classic 4-star hotel, more a boutique on the 5th floor of Koruna Palace (it was not clear from the descriptions). Location is excellent, parking garage is only two minutes walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. Room was OK, bathroom is above class. €60 for the private usage of the spa (only private is available) is a bit overpriced.
This hotel is in an excellent central location, convenient for everything. The room was excellent though some bits in the bathroom were past their best and the shower over the bath is not very good and that area is cramped. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. However on two of my four mornings there I was sharing a table with someone else. On the second occasion an e...
The hotel is very AMAZING! We have a luxury superior double room. The room is state-of-the-art. Modern but charming. We love it! The service is also amazing, the reception, the bar/restaurant! They know what they are doing - and theyre doing the best! Breakfast is also cool - made to order plus the buffet. Use of the hi-tech fitness center is included and the gym is W...
We had a really pleasant stay here at Hotel Leonardo, Prague. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. We booked the 'Superior' room via Agoda and it was really nice. Our room was clean, spacious and airy. Location of this hotel is just perfect. All the famous tourist attractions like Charles Bridge, Lennon Wall, Old Town Hall with Astro...
I traveled to Czech with my husband. I liked the interior of the hotel very much. The room was really clean, it was raining and the weather was cold, but I could have an extra blanket in the room. The staff were very friendly too, especially Alex was able to solve our requests.
If you have a car,I strongly recommend to visit the Wellness Hotel Retro Riverside. Even though the hotel is not too close(6-7Km) from downtown of Karloby vary it is nice hotel.
Hotel is close to Republic square and finding nice restaurants is not a problem. Great breakfast and a nice restaurant right next to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, they always helped me to get a taxi from the office back to the hotel. They have their own taxi service that can pick you up from the airport and anywhere in the city, its a bit more expens...
