4-night stay OVERALL THOUGHTS”
Stayed at Standard room for 3 nights, and Executive room for 1 night Value for money: (+++) Definitely not a budget travel kind of hotel, but worth every penny for a romantic getaway!! Hotel facilities: (+) Landscape was picture-perfect, beach was probably the best in San Juan and is private, pools are big and did not get crowded while we were there (I was able to have the pool to myself twice), Temple Spa gave me the best traditional hilot I had in 3 yrs (-) Game room – specifically billiards did not have chalk Reco: Hope they can at least have bicycles available for rent for those that do not have license to drive motorcycles. Rooms: (+) Rooms are very spacious and value for money. The beds are comfortable, sheets feel and smell clean, aircon working properly, and water supply is strong, and heater was quick to work (-) Not the best quality of toiletries, toothbrush and toothpaste are upon request, no slippers provided in standard room (which was a hassle since the tiled floor also gets cold and dirty (-) Mini bar only has Coke and beer, they should at least offer chips and nuts if they don’t allow food from outside because I get hungry in the middle of the night (-) no complimentary tea, just instant coffee that did not get refilled Staff and service: (+) Very warm, friendly, accommodating, and attentive to guests’ needs. I appreciate that they’re not overly friendly and initiate unnecessary sales talks :D (+) Great service arranging our ferry tickets back to Dumaguete (+) Hotel shuttle to the port was organized (+) Great job booking my massage session (-) No pick up from port offered – not sure if it’s because I booked through Agoda Food: (+) Local beers are reasonably priced. (-) Very limited options, and pricey for the serving size. Overall taste was a little bland for Pinoys. (-) Would not recommend their coffee. Best Resort I have ever stayed! (Been to 40 countries!!)”
My wife and I spent 5 days at this Amazing resort. We have been all over the world and this resort is by far the best we have stayed. It’s a one stop shop for everything. This is a very good home base if ur planning to explore Siquijor. The staff was super amazing. Very Friendly and accommodating. Many of the staff knew our first name by the 2nd day of our stay. (free breakfast with many options), they have dinner menu also and shows almost every other night. We spent all our dinners there and on 2 nights we were there they have an awesome show! The staff was singing and dancing! They can book the tours for you, you’re transfer etc etc. while I understand that if ur on a budget and want to save, u can stay elsewhere and book ur own tours and boat transfer —- the convenience of letting them do everything for a small fee of $1 isn’t such a big difference for us. I also did my Scuba Certification there. My instructor Kuya Gabril was super patient and nice. He was safe and was able to help me succeed and conquer my fear. Miss Joy the operations manager was incredible and so as Miss Jeje (Gigi). Every staff greeted us everyday with a smile. We are so happy and content with our stay. We booked through Agoda- I checked daily for deals since they have flexible cancellation and so we were able to get the best price. We highly recommend this place!!

Our Journey Nov 3-10, 2022”
We were greeted with complimentary shuttle services to the resort and back to the Port destination - nice & clean and comfy transportation. Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted, provided a nice fresh Watermelon drink - very nice! (They did however forget to have our "Welcome sign with our Names" so that was disappointing - we were looking forward to that along with having our picture taken) "These little touches are very important! Details!" Specially when they emphasize this is what they do. Beautiful grounds - staff very nice and friendly. The food - breakfast was great but other meals we tried but ended up eating out of the resort at other locations which we greatly preferred. "That should say something on its own." Our room - very nice! Clean but the bed not so comfy and one would expect a little more quality upon a stay in such a upscale resort. We really enjoyed our stay overall!

Very nice place to stay!”
Location: Quite large hotel with many one and two storey houses in a botanic garden like lush green park with 3 pools stretching along one of the most beautiful beaches of Siquijor. Value for money: At first sight it may appear a bit pricy, but it is really worth every Peso. Rooms: Most of them face the garden and the sea behind. Not the newest, but well maintained, clean, spacious and nice view. Food: The restaurant is direct on the beach with a main building and many pavillions around which offer a special dining experience. The food is very good and reasonable priced, but not expensive. On saturdays they have a special dinner with great live entertainment. If you stay on saturday, make a table reservation! It is very nice. Staff: Very professional, friendly and helpful all the time, from check-in until their driver dropped us at the pier. Even it may be not the cheapest place , but it is worth the money. Stay at least for 2 days. Next time on Siquijor, we will be back here.

Always a joy and never disappoints”
This is our 3rd time to stay in this resort. It has been about 10 years since we last stayed here. It was amazing to see the changes that have taken place. The resort has expanded, new pools have been added, rooms have been upgraded and landscaping has vastly improved. The original portion of the resort is being renovated. I am sure it will be fantastic when completed. But what sets this resort apart is the incredible customer service. Glitches are addressed immediately by their charming manager, Jeje. The staff is well trained to make each guest feel important. They try to remember your names and your preferences. The food in the resort is pricey and the menu limited but the quality is excellent. Venturing out to try restaurants outside the resort is quite expensive as public transportation is very limited. The hotel rentals can add a substantial amount to your food bill. We appreciated the good wifi available almost all the time. The website needs a major upgrade as not all the information is up to date. The email stated is not a working one and the mobile phone takes a long time to get a response or none at all. But as a whole, it was an excellent and enjoyable stay. Keep up the good work.

Went for a trip with family and friends and it is the best place to unwind. The facilities are neat and pools are clean with the beach making you one with nature. The rooms are beyond my expectations, worth it! We hang out in the bar with friends and fam and Lea (waitress) was very accommodating! She knows how to cater to the needs of the young ones and adults! All the staff were exceptional and very respectful!

This resort by far the best i’ve been to. Situated on the island of Siquijor, facilities are top-notch. Staffs are very friendly and helpful especially those on the front desk and special mention the ever energetic Miss Joy. Resort have 2 big pools to dip in. Breakfast served are very good. All staffs will greet you. Scooter rental, spa massage, diving school, pool bar, bbq night etc. such a wonderful experience with coco grove beach resort. No wonder your foreign guests keep on coming back. (Overheard someone that he was back for the 6th time! ) We can’t imagine such a beautiful resort can be found on the island of Siquijor. 🇵🇭

My cousin stayed in CocoGrove with her family so she reco'd the resort to us. Googled it, and voila! Seems pretty nice...not until you arrive at the place -- it's not just nice, it's BEAUTIFUL & WONDERFUL, very clean...and the staff??? Hmmmm ... THEY ARE SUPERB!!!! They love u and u will love them. All smiles from them all day and night! Location is perfect and the rooms impeccable 👌 so what r u waiting for? Book now!!! We stayed in CocoGrove for 5days 4nights -- not enough!!! So we extended 1 more day! Haha...still not enuf...don't wana leave the place, really 😄

Cleanliness, beautiful floural and fauna, fantastic beach and snorkling during high tide. Dive shop onsite with tours to Apo Island. 1 hour boat ride to the island. Take the ferry if you want more space and smother ride if windy. Includes transportation to and from the port. Private van tour recommended and stay a week to enjoy the relaxing atmoshere. Breakfast on the beach every morning was special. The food is fantastic.

Phenomenal stay ”
Rented the ocean villa for around $135 per night. Incredible value. Food at Salamandas restaurant is fantastic (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Staff is very helpful, friendly, and engaging. You can get nice rooms here for as inexpensive as $65?per night. Massage facility is incredible (around 1200 pesos per hour, legit talent). Main pool with swim up bar is fantastic. Cannot recommend Coco Grove Beach Hotel anymore. I'm from the USA just as a reference point.

Best experience, wonderful place and staff”
High expectations were met by Coco Grove. The whole place is beautifully set up and the staff is amazing. It's not often that I saw a place ran so smoothly and pro-active. Gigi is the best host! The restaurant is also very good with a good set-up on the beach. Be sure to stay over the weekend to catch the Saturday show. If I would go back to Siquijor I would 100% go back to Coco Grove.

Wonderful Experience”
First time in Siquijor and we are happy we chose Coco Grove. Complimentary pick up and drop-off to and from the port was a plus. Pick up schedule was sudden since we don't know what ferry to ride on the day of arrival when the hotel staff contacted me a day earlier. We initially advised them that we'll go to the hotel on our own. Last minute, we tried our luck after buying the ferry tickets, they accommodated our request to pick us up from the port. Good food, nice ambience, lovely staff especially Joey from Salamandas restaurant. We adore her and had so much fun interacting with her.

Surely one of the worlds best resorts.”
Only Disney World cast members might be as pleasant and accommodating as the Coco Grove staff, but, I doubt it. From Joy, the operations manager to each and every server, bartender, front desk worker, housekeeping staff and maintenance worker, ALL were unbelievably focused, extremely positive, and super ambassadors for this resort. I traveled 10,000 miles for my wonderful weekend and plan to return again in the Spring of 2023 for ten days. It simply is the best vacation experience I have ever encountered in +60 years! Impeccable grounds with amazing flora and fauna, excellent 5 star cuisine, deluxe rooms, fabulous amenities, and staff members like family!

If you're looking for a glamorous stay that's quiet and has it all. This is the resort in Siquijor you should book. From the peaceful ambiance, good staff hospitality, and everything you need they have one. Was the food great? Of course, though a room for improvement for more choices to which other restaurants in the province can/may provide. Most of the guests of the resort at the time were foreigners. So the price might be steep, but it's all worth it. And yes Siquijor is a fun place to have an adventure. So definitely be re-booking again soon.

Coco Grove is second to none, the staff go above and beyond, the room was spacious and clean, food was magnificent. We were expecting the drink and food prices to be expensive in such a great resort but were on par with the cheapest we have stayed at in the Phillipines. Definitely returning with friends.
