Nice hotel, clean and hotel location is perfect. It's center of Yangon. ”
I love this hotel. I travelled alone. It's really perfect for me. Clean, nice staff and very convenient walking to Sule Pagoda, Yangon City Hall within 7-8 min (even Yangon Downtown), Junction Shopping mall & Scott Market within 5-6 min. Even Yangon Railway Station. Also, Clover City Center Hotel is at 32nd Street which behind the Sule Square Building and Shangri-La Hotel. It was very easy to see where I was and which way I could go back to my place.

A genuine surprise”
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Clover City Center Hotel. It was, firstly, very conveniently located to the center of Yangon City, and just behind Sule Shangri-La therefore making it extremely easy to find! It is also located only 15 mins' walk to Chinatown Street 19, where you can enjoy some really good food at night. In terms of the hotel interior, the room was clean. The white interiors enhanced the feeling of cleanliness. The room was a comfortable size and came with its private shower and bathroom, which too was clean. The best thing about this hotel must be its staff. Not only were the front desk staff friendly and helpful when I asked about a place I wanted to visit, even the housekeeping staff offered to help me with my luggage even though they didn't need to! I will stay here again during my next visit.

Great takeoff point for exploring Myanmar”
I lucked out with this place, finally settling on it cuz it seemed like the best bargain for our budget. I was pleasantly surprised to find so clean, orderly, and accommodating a location in the middle of Yangon, after having read so many travel blog horror stories. Staff spoke excellent english, and spent considerable time helping us figure out how to get around, even going so far as to help us plan out much of our trip. They booked bus tickets, held our luggage for two weeks as we traveled north, and offered several helpful suggestions wrt getting around outside of Yangon. Much of my initial concern in visiting Myanmar was that it’d be difficult to get around, with developing infrastructure and language barrier issues. Our trip, however, went remarkably smoothly, much of this owing to the Clover City Center having served as our point of departure.

Perfect Choice!”
I've had the pleasure of travelling to Burma a few times. When I first started visiting, tourism was truly in a nascent stage. Options in Yangon were limited and very poor value for money. Clover City, however, was a welcomed change. It was well priced, my room was clean, spacious and modern, staff were sincere and polite and the location was central to downtown Yangon. Every thing you need! If I have the pleasure of visiting Burma again, I'll definitely book a room at Clover City Centre Hotel bc it's a perfect choice.

Excellent Location”
The hotel is situated directly behind Sule ShangriLa hotel and thus shares the same location advantage as that very upmarket and pricy hotel. The rooms are clean and confortable, not cramped at all. All the staff are very good and friendly, but William is a stand out in terms of friendliness. The hotel and staff are very guest friiendly. Its a very easy walk to Sule Pagoda, Scott Market and Nilar Biryani. Clover and its sister hotel Clover City Center Plus would be my preferred hotel to stay in Yangon next time as well. The food served in the hotel was very tasty and good as well.

Great Base for exploring Yangon”
I stayed at the Clover City Center Hotel twice, at the beginning and end of my trip around Myanmar. Both times I booked a Superior Double Room - the first time I got a spacious room at the front of the hotel, the second time a rather small room at the back of the hotel (same description, same price!) That said, both times the room was perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms is the large LED TV installed terrifyingly (but i'm sure securely) over the bed. The staff are all very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel WiFi appears to be pot luck, on my first stay is was very quick, on my second stay I could barely open an email. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is construction opposite the hotel, however I did not notice the noise inside the hotel. There did not appear to be a choice of breakfast at the hotel. I sat down as was brought meat, potatoes, eggs, toast, croissants, pastry, tea and juice - there is bound to be something that you like. I also had some lunch at the hotel before heading off to the airport, they have a selection of asian and western foods, that was prepared quickly and was tasty. The location of the hotel, one street over from Sule Pagoda Rd is ideal for exploring downtown Yangon, the Sule Pagoda itself is just a 5 minute walk away, as is Chinatown and Aung San (Scott) Market. I even walked to the Shwedagon Pagoda and Kandawgyi Lake. Overall I would stay at the hotel again (and I did).

Very good hotel and great location”
I really enjoyed my stay on Clover City, the Hotel is new and with very friendly staff. Breakfast is great, but don't expect a buffet, they serve you some food and fruits, coffee and juice, i enjoyed it and repeated. You can make a city walk from the hotel and see downtown. If you like to walk, bring some umbrella cause is really hot. The only thing i didn't like was the bathroom, it was really small and no box on the shower, everything got wet during a bath, not good. Laundry was good too, i have sensitive skin but didnt have any problem. If i go to Yangon again, i will stay at Clover again, for sure.

Great for this price category”
First time visiting yangon. Heard much (negative) things about the accommodation and food. So was kinda prepared for the worst. But, Clover City was actually quite acceptable. It's like Hotel 81 in Singapore. Small, basic, to a good extend clean, hassle free, and staffs there speaks good English and friendly. Upon arrival, they serve me a welcome drink, and immediately offered me the wifi password. Food in the cafe is decent, i go for western food mainly. There is a convenient store nearby, whih is much better compared to many other stores further away. I did not have the breakfast as i was catching an early flight. Note: There is 2 Clover outlets of same operations on the same street, within a short walking distance. Taxi may not get the right one. The street where it was on is very local and dodgy at first sight, but its really OK. I realized most streets are like that.

Great Location with excellent staff”
Our stay at Clover City Center Hotel was a fantastic experience. It was centrally located to many sights in Myanmar. The staff were fantastic and it was their service attitude that made our stay in Clover City Center Hotel even more memorable. Rooms were big and very clean. The sheets were comfortable and the bed and aircon provided a much neded respite from the hot weather in Myanmar. All in all, a fantastic hotel that was reasonably priced. Will definitely choose to stay there again when we're back in Myanmar.

Modern new hotel in central downtown”
Top 3 about this hotel: 1. Location - only one street behind Sule Shangri-la mall and 5-10min walk to Bogyoke Aung San market and new Junction Shopping Center. 2. New & Clean Room - the hotel looks new. All the furniture and fixtures in the room were new; the tiles, sink, toilet, shower, bed, bed linens, table, chair, electric kettle were all clean. My room on the 6th floor had a window facing the back of Shangri-la mall where I could see their roof-top garden. TV had some international channels (NHK, FOX movie, etc.). The shower had good hot water 24 hours. You can use the lift between Ground floor to your room. 3. Staff - They were not overly friendly, but genuinely smiley and willing to help. When I asked them questions or requested for some help, they were all happy to help me. Not-Perfect points: 1. Room is relatively small, especially the bathroom. It was long but quite narrow especially the toilet part. 2. If your room rate doesn't include breakfast (my rate was discount rate), it costs you US$5. The breakfast was not a buffet but a set meal with bread, beans, fried egg, boiled veggi. I ordered Mohinga (noodles) as al-a-carte for 2500 kyats, and it was very nice. Only down-side was that the soup was not hot enough because they cook and bring from the sister hotel a few shops away (City Center Plus). But next morning, they allowed me to go to Plus and sit at their cafeteria to order hot Mohinga. I will return to Yangon for shopping at Bogyoke market again, so this hotel will be perfect for me if they provide special rate again (normal high season rate is rather high due to their new facilities).

Small hotel in old and central Rangoon”
Earlier in November I stayed at the Clover City Center (not to be confused with the Clover Hotel) for a week. The service staff earnestly answered all my questions and took care of all my requests. They made my stay. The room I had was a bit narrow (but spacious compared to hotels in Japan) with two small beds. The bathroom shower has no separation from the toilet facilities, a bit annoying because water remains on the floor. The location is central (near the Scott market) and the hotel will arrange transportation as requested. Considering the outrageous prices for hotel rooms in Rangoon the Clover City is good value for your money. But be warned, it is busy so book well in advance.

Comfy Stayed ”
Clover City Center Hotel is a extremely well run with friendly and polite staffs hotel. Nice to see a room in white, hygiene ,comfortable and great air conditioning. Excellent location easy to get taxi anytime. Coffee house is everywhere and alot of restaurent nearby. Sule Pagoda, night market, st Mary's Cathedral and Bogyok Aung San Market all in walking distance... * a free alarm will wake you up each morning around 5.30am , that is church Bells ,but if you are not a light sleeper i think it won't trouble ... A bit overpriced but overall Not bad in Yangon. Will be return someday

Good location and very friendly staff”
Me and my friend had a very pleasant experience for our 3 nights stay at clover city center hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in all areas, and it was one of the lowest priced 3* hotel that is within the central area of all attractions, just behind shangri la hotel. Both the room and bathroom gave us a really clean look and feel with a good use of full mirror feature across the room with bright lighting and white walls. However, there was just one minor issue, after we settled down, we saw a few tiny cockroaches crawling around the room, luckily being guys, we were able to clear them ourselves, but it was just a little annoying to be pestered by these cockroaches for 2 nights even after trying to kill them every time we sees them.

Brilliant stay”
Had a great stay at Clover - they very kindly let us check in early after we arrived on the nightbus from Bagan. It was a huge relief to be able to shower and sleep before going out to explore Yangon. Location is great, close to Sule Pagoda and lots of restaurants. Yangon Yangon rooftop bar is just over the road. Breakfast was substantial, if a little unusual; sliced bread, baked beans, chicken, veg, an egg and a bun on one plate! But kept us full and we had a banana and muffin for later. Friendly smiley staff. Warned us to leave early to the airport due to New Year's Day road closures and organised a taxi so we got there in plenty of time. Wi-Fi was a little weak in the room but was able to use it for calls in reception. Thanks for a great stay!

Convenient location”
The Clover City Center is a new hotel in a convenient location just behind the Traders and about a 3 minute walk to the Bogyoke Aung San market. The rooms were small but clean. Hotel staff were very helpful with directions and assisting with travel arrangements. Overall, pretty good value given the high cost of hotel accommodation in Yangon these days.

Comfortable and clean”
It was our first time to Yangon and we relied heavily on Agoda for the hotel recommendations. I randomly picked Clover City Center and it was satisfactory. The beds were comfortable and the location is just a stone's throw from the major tourist attractions. :)

Very central to the heart of Yangon”
Clover City Center Hotel is within walking distance to Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandula Park, Colonial Yangon and the Railway Station. In my opinion, it is superbly located. The hotel is functional, with friendly, helpful staff.

Nice basic hotel in the shadow of Traders”
We booked this hotel through Agoda for around USD. We found it to be clean and the staff extremely helpful. Most of them, including the bellmen, not just the front desk staff, have good English and will bend over backwards to help you. The aircon works great, and the views of the city are nice from the top floors. There is wireless internet in the rooms that works pretty good. It is literally across the street from the back of Traders, so if you are interested in a Western oasis, a cool spacious lobby to sit in, and overpriced but non-sketchy food of various cultural backgrounds, you can easily walk there. Also within walking distance is Ruby Mart, a multi-floor department store with a cafe, grocery, pharmacy, sundries, clothing, housewares, etc. Breakfast at Clover City is a standardized Western breakfast (egg, toast, fruit, ketchupy beans, juice, slice of chocolate cake, tea or coffee...) You only get the one plate, but it's a lot of food, so you shouldn't go away hungry. We traveled with two small children, and the staff were very friendly and taken with them. The room was large enough to accommodate all four of us - we had two twin beds and then the room had a love seat that could be reconfigured into a bed. "Kids stay free in existing bedding," and they wanted to charge us extra for a bedsheet, but gave us an extra blanket for free, and we set the pull-out bed up ourselves. Definitely recommended for this price point.

Clean and Simple, Whats Not to Like?”
Stayed one night at Clover City Center Hotel. Considering how busy the nearby street is, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. The hotel is set back 100 ft or so from the street, so that helps. The staff were all very helpful and even went the extra mile to confirm a flight time for me which, considering the airline office was closed at the time, was no easy task. The room is perfectly suited for one person, two would be a little tight. Very clean, very simple. Perfect. Would stay again.

Very good”
Agoda.com has always been the lowest price and we always look for Agoda when we made our hotel bookings. Hotel is just located behind Shangri-La Hotel and is very convenient to go to anywhere and also walking distance to Yangon Train Station, New Market, Old Market & Junction City shopping centre. Clover City Center Hotel staff are polite and helpful especially our thanks to Daniel. He has helped us throughout our 5 nights stay, booked a taxi and also followed us to Golden Rock on his off duty. Without him we couldn't imagine how we could get down from the mountain to the base camp with 2 additional transits in an open truck.
