"I have stayed in many hotels in Malacca and Doubletree is the best! I feel so pampered during my stay there, as the staff are very attentive and the facilities are very extensive and top notch, e.g. the toiletries provided are Crabtree and Evelyn, not just any cheap product. Appreciate the chocolate nut cookie during check-in too! Hygiene is good but some spots are easy to miss like the plastic piece at the bottom of the bathroom glass doors is completely black and definitely needs cleaning. Another thing is the housekeeping forgot to give complete sets of toiletries like the body wash was missing on my first day and conditioner was missing on second day. Both pillows provided are extremely soft, I suggest giving one plump pillow and another soft one so we can choose which texture we prefer. However, still my best stay in Malacca so far. "

"This hotel in Malacca is beyond my expectation. Believe it should be the best in the vicinity, if now in Malacca itself. Friendly staff at the reception, the doorman and the concierge. Large bedroom with King size bed. 3 pillows which was indicated 'soft', 'medium' & 'hard'(or maybe 'stiff', can't recall). We got the room with good sea view. Everything look very new and clean or perhaps this is a new hotel. Crossing the road to the mall & the tourist attractions opposite the hotel is a real challenge. Infants should be carried and should not be in the pram when crossing as the road divider is very narrow. Not the fault of the hotel though."

"The Rosa Malacca isn’t just another hotel in Malacca Malaysia. The shape every single object has been carefully considered to create a new lifestyle hotel. Symbolising European architecture with red brick walls, rendered cement, show casing a beautiful courtyard dining area. Every corner is instaworthy! Rosa Malacca, located 1 kilometres walking distance from A’Famosa Fort and Mahkota Parade Shopping Mall. If you’re feeling a little tired to walk, there’s always UBER. BICA & CO, their courtyard café, serves continental breakfast, Illy coffee, Afternoon teas, Cookies, and Gourmet sandwiches. Very hipster! The rooms boast a modern contemporary industrial design with all the modern conveniences, Wi-Fi, satellite and LED TV, Air Conditioning and bathroom amenities. Rosa Malacca blurs the lines between imagination, reality, space and time. As their tagline goes, “it’s never boring at Rosa”. We’ll be back soon! Thank you for the hospitality! (:"

"It’s near to Jonker. We drive, so distance actually doesn’t matter to us but we surprise that Jonker is actually walking distance from this hotel. Room is statisfy, toilet as well - clean & big. Tv is provided, fridge too with drinks inside. Those drinks in fridge is not included in hotel price but the price stated is reasonable. One thing of dissapoinment is the charging pot for water boiler & iron are manufacture from China which normal charge pot like Malaysia is not fixed. But international pot is not provided hence we thought to boil water at the end we give up our mind. (We didn’t request for it though as it’s nearly 12am & we felt tired) - water machine is not located but fridge did provide water with rm2 - Taste is not good. compliment for this hotel is - We booked this for honeymoon. Didn’t expect for anything but when we came in room we saw decorations on the bed it’s like.. omg! It surprise us & make us feel warm as well. Thanks u very much for the service. "

" It was a pleasant experience staying here. Though the outward appearance of the hotel is not great, but the family room was a big and pleasant surprise. It had 3 queen size bed plus lots of space for children to play. You have to see it to believe how much space there was. The toilet is 5 stars type with marble flooring, a big bath tub and a shower space with glass doors. The sink had golden taps etc. It was a very big toilet. Many towels and bathing foams and shampoo etc. The breakfast had a wonderful spread. For a family, we were given 4 vouchers for each day we stay. There is a wide spread of food- porridge and the ingredients, nasi lemak/ bee hoon or koay teow. There is also mushroom soup and bread plus fruits and coffee and tea etc. For the price I paid, I was only expecting a simple breakfast. The hotel is centrally located, very near the Mega Mall. Taxi bookings could be made from the hotel to most places in Malacca. And for those who drive it is 5-7 mins to Jonker Street, 3-5 mins to Mega Mall, Mahkotar Mall et.c."
