Very nice hotel close to town. Beautiful garden with big pool and a small private beach. The room is simple but equipped with everything you need. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and had an Asian touch, which was nothing negative for us. The quality of the food was delicious, as well for dinner. A very good value for money. Very friendly staff in the whole hotel area. They help you wherever they can. English language is spoken there, sometimes better, sometimes not so good, but we have solved everything so no big issue at all. Compared to other hotels in Labuan Bajo it would be nice to have a hotel shuttle to go to town with a time schedule. In total we really enjoyed our stay at Bintang Hotel and can recommend it by 100% Thanks to everyone who made this stay so nice for us.

This trip is among many of my trips to Bajo. However, this is my 1st time staying over in this hotel... And i might say this is the most exquisite hotel in Bajo. Come and stay here if you want to experience a "Labuan Bajo". Timber furnitures and stone cladding is really cool. Humble yet crafty architecture make it special. The sunsets are amazing. Try the rooftop restaurant too. Reasonably priced. Warmth welcome from staff. They will cater your needs (diving, trips, transport, special diet etc). The local owner, Matheus always greet around randomly. I personally rather spend my money on something local really. Breakfast is superb upstairs, you can see bustling morning of Labuan Bajo <3. One final note: I have been in other hotels before around labuan bajo, some that is four time more expensive than this hotel. I realize they got same aminities and soap with this one. So... do the math...

Please note that the bathroom is outdoors, which may not be to everyone's liking. I thought it rather nice though. The hotel offers transports to and from Labuan Bajo, but for a cost. + We booked rather late and got a good deal + Was pleansantly surprised and found it much better than some reviews. Room nice! +Drinking water container in room, so had cold water all the time + 2 pools within easy reach - Shame they don't serve alcohol, apart from lager. I would have loved to have cocktail on the beach while watching the sunset - Rubbish on the beach every time the sea level changes. Staff do try to clean up and sweep, but could try harder, I'm sure. It¨'s a general problem with rubbish in the water. - Not enough sun chairs - Strange layout of the resort. The reception area is huge, but there's nothing apart from the staff at the desk and some seating. No tourist information, swatch book shelf in different languages, info on services offered, eg massage.

this hotel might not look like much from the outside but it makes up for that in every other way. the pool is amazing, the beach is a stones throw away, the rooms are luxury... basically if i have nothing bad to say about it. i suppose one thing is that it is the furthest hotel (in that area) from labuan bajo but it is still only a 5-10min drive and they give you a free taxi service from the hotel! if you are going to flores stay here!

We were so happy at Sylvia hotel that we extended our stay. The ocean view rooms literally walk right out on to the beach. We went snorkeling every day right off the beach seeing some of the best sea life of our trip in Indonesia. The sunsets every evening were magical. The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from Labuan Bajo which for us was ideal as we were looking to relax, not be in the center of everything. The town of Labuan Bajo itself is not very clean, no where to chill on the beach so being just outside was perfect... close to town to adventure in for dinner at night but with pool and beach for day time. The hotel has a shuttle service they run to and from Labuan Bajo for half the price of the normal local taxis which is great and very frequent. They also will provide shuttle to and from the airport for the same price, very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Sylvia to anyone! We would love to stay there again in the future!

Although a discount, we paid the price for a quite high quality standard (160 Euros/night for a couple incl. breakfast) but we got very poor services. It was a scam. Food (lunch and diners) are to be avoid but you need to take the boat escort to reach Labuan Bajo and they make the fee expensive. We are used to travel a lot and this is the first time we see such a poor quality. We were the only customers during the 4 days of the 1st of May week-end break. It's a pity because the location and the bungalow are fantastic.

This hotel is located on the hill overlooking Labuan Bajo on the way to the airport. The view is magnificent. The rooms are modern and new with comfortable beds and aircon. The bathrooms are in the back of the room, outside, with an open ceiling. This is kind fun as within the plants in the bathroom there are usually a few guests like frogs or the occasional gecko. The hotel is very comfortable and overall a nice property. The staff is just wonderful and really try hard to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was simple in the morning with pancakes one day, eggs and toast another and coffee and tea. The room has a kettle for hot water and although does not have safes, it has locking cabinets. The hotel is about a 20 - 30 min walk to town down a hill (an of course back up a hill) and is not really super convenient if you go into and out of town a lot. We walked in the morning to go diving and back in the afternoon and then again for dinner. You can rent motorbikes for $7.50USD per day in town or grab a moto for around $.50USD if you can catch one. The negative was no wifi at all so if you need wifi to stay in touch with work. (as we did) you just have to go to a local restaurant to get it. The price value for this property is great. We had a nice stay and I would recommend it. (Next time I would rent the motorbike though! Although the exercise was good for me)

I'm so happy to stay at this hotel:) Even when the first time i come, the hotel is looks so quiet. But i will alwasy remember that the hotel stafs is so freindly and so helpful, and they also can help/guide us to visit some place near the hotel in labuan bajo, because after their working time, they can ride the motorcyle and bring us to some place and we just need to give them the cost and tips. Accually they're very good to explained and guide us, they can be good tourist guide ;) The standard room is also nice. the other things is also for their restaurant in 2level. it's good, the furnitures is also fantastic and 1 more the food is delicios, their Banana Pancake so yummy. For the hotel place is also good, near with pede beach, batu cermin caves, the harbour of labuan bajo, it's nice. thank you Centro Bajo Hotel for your hospitality. I'll remommeded this hotel to my friend who will come in labuan bajo. Thank you Agoda!

What a lovely hotel in Labuan Bajo! The views were spectacular, the staff friendly and welcoming and the facilities, while not fancy, were spotlessly clean. Only minor hassle is the fact that you have to take a taxi to get to downtown (about 7 minutes), but the hotel car will take you in any time you want (for about 3USD) and the slight remove from town actually means the hotel is very quiet at night in an otherwise relatively noisy place. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough - the views from the pool cannot be beat.

Stayed just 2 nights after a week diving in Labuan Bajo. Away from the crowd, embedded in a piece of a hilly djungle at a white sandy beach it was perfect for relax before returning back home. Stunning view from each bungalow! Very friendly staff, always helpful supporting us when needed. Nice food to fair prices. We get there by motorbike, saves flexibility but beware of very bad road conditions. Only can recommend this paradisic place!!!

Komodo Boutique Hotel is a fantastic place to stay! It's super clean, quiet, there's a beautiful garden in the center, and the staff couldn't be nicer!. It is outside of the town, which I loved because it's a much quieter location. I rented a scooter and drove into town everyday, but they have a shuttle to take you if you prefer. When I'm back in Labuan Bajo, I will only stay here.

If you’re a bit disappointed by the charms of Labuan Bajo, you couldn’t do better than head to Waecicu Beach Inn. Just a taxi ride up the coast, yet worlds away from Bajo. It’s the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days by the beach. It’s the perfect location for snorkelling and diving as well as enjoying the beaches. We stayed in a very pleasant bungalow with our own terrace, just 20 m away from the beach. The staff are very friendly (the manager event lent us his own snorkling mask!!) and more than happy to look after you. I can also highly recommend the day trip (organised by the hotel) to Rinca island to see the Komodo dragons. Highly recommend this place!

It's OK for the price offered for the superior room. But for most of the hotel in Labuan Bajo are fully booked anyway, so you might found the price more expensive than Bali for this kind of hotel quality. Does not have wi-fi and the breakfast option quite poor compare to other hotel with the same rate which located within walking distance. The staffs are helpful though.

My husband and I stayed overnight before our live-on-board the next day. With the way the staff pays attention to you, wouldn't expect this to be a one-star hotel. They were quick, attentive and helpful. Even let us borrowed an adaptor for our charger for the rest of our trip in Labuan Bajo. Location, given the size of Labuan Bajo even though this is slightly out it was no problem. I am a slow-walker and it took me less than 15 minutes to walk to the city center and the walk was enjoyable with greeneries on the left and the sea on the right - but do becareful of cars and motorcycles as there are no pedestrian side. No TV in room but I thought it was smart of them to have a fan AND aircon. Aircon does take a while to cool things down so in the meantime the fan was really helpful. Also, who needs TV when you look outside. Clean bathroom with good air pressure, please do note that water can be scarce in Labuan Bajo so be mindful. I'm not too keen on the food (I am a picky a eater) I find them too oily but there juices are refreshing. All in all, would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.

I stayed at L Bajo Hotel Komodo for 4 nights whilst holidaying in Labuan Bajo. Room 408 was a simple room on the 4th floor with a great view overlooking to harbour edge and out to the nearby islands. I got an amazing sunset photo from hanging out of the open window at sunset. Most staff had only a little English language but I can speak pretty good Bahasa Indonesia so this was definitely an big advantage, as it was in the whole of Flores, Labuan Bajo and the Komodo islands. The room was adequately clean, the bed was very comfortable & clean and the air con worked very well. Bathroom was clean, simple and suitable too. I had a try of operating the in-room safety box but couldn't on my first try; after a trip to reception the best english speaking staff member helped me learn how it worked... it was a little different to the instructions provided. Everything was kept safe here during my stay here. Simple breakfast was provided which I did not use at all while staying here but good food places within 10 mins walk so not an issue for me. Also a well stocked, seperate convenience mart next to reception level was a bonus. L Bajo Hotel's best attribute for me was it's closeness to the harbour strip with all the dive and tour shops, restaurants, warungs, bakery, laundries, bike rental shops and marts. At the end of Jalan Soekarno Hatta was the fish market and the nightly Pantai Kampung Ujung, with about 15 different stalls selling fresh fish & seafood that they will cook for you with rice and veg. There are also stalls selling fried tofu & tempeh, fried veg & fruit and sweets and drinks. Marts across the road sell beer and other drinks too. Best tip about LB I can give is to hire a motorbike and travel north out of Labuan Bajo to around the Waecicu bay area for excellent sunset photo opportunities... just keep going on the eventual dirt road to the tip of the peninsular for the best view!

The view from the beach looking out to hills which change colour with the light across an aquamarine sea is truly spectacular. The reef is amazing. Loads to see with snorkelling gear provided by the resort. The restaurant has an extensive menu with lots of choice and the pasta we had one night was really delicious. But felt the trips were quite a lot of money - the hire of the boat on top of the cost of the resort seemed very expensive. The staff also were very friendly but it would be helpful if they had name badges. Overall this was a wonderful and peaceful place to spend four days and I'd love to go back.

The hotel was basically brand new when we got there (March 2017) and if you coordinate pick-up with the wonderful (English and also Italian speaking) staff, it's easy to reach, otherwise a bit out of town but 5 mins drive from airport. Veronica and her staff are amazingly friendly and do everything to help. Internet was slow but they said it's under improvement. We were in another good ranked hotel in Labuan Bajo before and at the same price there is no comparison: the rooms at Canaya Adrian Hotel are new, clean, spacious, with TV and AC. I believe the Hotel has great potential to develop fine and yo should give it a chance. We didn't regret and would stay again if back to Komodo!

We stayed in a double sweetbox in the dorm which was clean and comfy. Bathroom facilities were good with hot water. We moved to a private room with fan as my friend got quite ill (not from the hotel) which was fine but had a very basic small bathroom with no hot water. Included breakfast is just toast and butter which we could not eat as we were vegan. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is about 10min walk from the main area of shops and restaurants. Would recommend as a cheap option to stay in Labuan Bajo.

We loved our stay here, although we didn't use the restaurant - the prices seemed insanely high (e.g. 91,000 for a big Bintang when service charge and tax is taken into consideration). Room had a fridge though, so it was easy enough to buy beers in town and store them in our room. A scooter is useful for easy and convenient transportation to Labuan Bajo (5-10 minutes drive away), although the hotel does offer a free transfer to town and the airport which was useful on the final morning. Pool area and loungers are lovely, the beach is deserted with great sunset views. The hotel complex is kept clean and the beach appeared clean too although we didn't swim in the ocean (no need because there is a pool). Wifi signal was very unreliable throughout the resort although this could be a local area problem rather than specific to the hotel. Overall our room was high quality and excellent value, but best eat and drink in town to avoid paying the very high menu prices.

We initially booked for 3 nights but extended to 4. After making a mistake on our second booking Kadek kindly helped us to fix. Kadek is an asset to the hotel. Her kind and friendly smile and help made it a haven for us to return to after big days trekking or snorkeling. The location is so central to the heart of Labuan Bajo to go downtown and enjoy the freshest fish or squid for dinner. The air conditioning is the best we have experienced in Indonesia. The area is quiet and peaceful. The hotel is so clean and tidy. All other staff are also ready to share a smile and offer help. Kadek also arranged airport transfers for us to leave Labuan Bajo. I highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was always wonderful. One morning we had an early start and Kadek organised breakfast in a lunchbox for us to take at 5am. Nothing was too much trouble. The only downside is that the wifi is very weak in the rooms and even on the balcony.

We loved our stay in our little Balinese style villa! Our favourites being the view, decor, comfort of the room and space and good friendly service from the staff. We stayed one night and then went on a tour for a few days and decided to return here. We spent hours on the balcony just relaxing and taking in the view. The only cons are the water pressure and limited breakfast. We’ve noted however that water shortage and pressure seem to be an issue in Labuan Bajo so I’m not sure that the hotel can do anything about that. Breakfast could be improved and fresh milk would be good to offer. Overall, our stay was fantastic and have already recommended to our friends traveling there in the future. We had the chance to meet the owner who is a lovely person and was very helpful. I can’t wait to come back here! Thanks for everything!

Cool hostel with great vibes. Loved the location; not on the Main Street but in the village so some authenticity and yet 10 min walk to everything. Staff was great. Free water. However, I don’t recommend coming here if you want a private room as the bed was not very comfortable, the room was very dark and you can find better options in Labuan Bajo at a cheaper price (with private bathroom). But great option if you are looking for a dorm and a cool crowd of travelers.

In Labuan Bajo, hotels are pretty expensive, this one not really. Its clean, you have ac, hot water, wifi and satellite tv. Room and bathroom are big enough and very clean. Our mattress was a little old, made a lot of noise at each mouvement. The staff is nice and helpful. But you have to ask for cleaning the room, new towels or water. The location is the only real problem, there is really nothing around but it takes 10-15mins to centre by car or motorcycle.

Bajo Nature Backpackers are currently undergoing a 'soft' opening, yet their hostel is far better than a good deal of hostels I've stayed in through my 15 months of travel! The rooms are spacious with draws, safes' and privacy curtains, as well as each individual bed having a personal reading light and power socket. The rooms however, which some may find un-nerving, feature a walkway through all the dorms in a circular fashion, with no partitioning doors. You wouldn't ever notice, as the area is quite large which large walls as partitions. The AC works perfectly and the cold showers/toilets and dorms are cleaned constantly throughout the day. The breakfast is a buffet style of tea/coffee and omelette and breads/spreads, which are also topped up from 7am-10am. If you would like some breads earlier, they can provide that too. I really feel Nature Bajo backpackers are striving to go out of there way to make their guests happy, from the greetings each mornings, to the smiles and hellos when they are cleaning the dorms. They also fitted a wooden plank on my roommates bed to aid in positioning a mosquito net! I would definitely recommend Bajo backpackers, if I'm ever back to Labuan Bajo - I will definitely be staying here!
