"Clean place, breakfast is ok, no free parking lots and to park overnight for public place is so expensive. Onsen is free and private. There is washing machine, hotel is clean and new condition. There are 7-11 and Lawson close by. The place is close to Kyoto tower and Isetan and Kyoto station. Totally is ok for spending money here."

"Best hotel ive stayed in Japan in this trip. Location was excellent, bus stops right near the hotel that go to main attractions in Kyoto. Take a bus pass instead of the combined subway pass. We took the combined pass but found that buses were the way to go in Kyoto. Hotel room was of a decent size for Japan, amenities in the room were great, soap and shampoo were of good quality, and we were also provided with pyjamas! Breakfast was free and there were many pastries available, although it got boring after 3 days. There was also juice, coffee/tea and sometimes fruit. Highly recommend this hotel. Will stay here again if I return to Kyoto."

"Very well located, Yes Hotel it is a little gem about a 5-10 minute walk from Kyoto station depending what side of the station you arrive at. The rooms are spacious by Japan standards, clean, offer really good in room espresso, coffee, tea, bottled water daily and has A/C . I know this sounds weird... I LOVED the bathroom. Technology at its finest. The hotel is modern and the service friendly. They were all very, very attentive. They have a wonderful concierge staff to help with dining reservations, local knowledge of the train system, sightseeing ...etc. The breakfast buffet has a good variety and if you don't want the buffet, you can order Ala Carte. This hotel delivers big on all fronts. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Kyoto!"

"Wonderful onsen for the price! I arrived early and left my bags with them which were waiting for me in my room when I came back to check in after sightseeing. although it's in a beautiful area and located across the street from a train station I gave it a satisfactory on the location since the train line that runs to it isn't from Kyoto station. There is another station with a train running from Kyoto station but it's a long walk with heavy luggage so I recommend a taxi from that station or one directly from Kyoto station which is what I did but be warned it's a hefty taxi fare. Other than that the food and baths were wonderful! They have 5 private baths on a first come first serve basis (so be prepared to wait a bit if you want those unless you go earlier in the evening). There is also a free hot and cold drink bar along with ice cream in the evening and probiotic drinks in the morning, as well as a massage parlor for an additional fee of course but the massage was excellent! "This was my first trip to Kyoto and the hotel was definitely the highlight. The lobby (and entire building) smelled amazing! The staff spoke excellent english and the check in/out was smooth. They also offer luggage storage after check out and called us a cab to the station. The hotel also has a private hot spring bath thats a must to try in Japan! All in all I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto! Hint: the location is amazing!!!! 500m from a high rated tea ceremony experience company (read: Maikoya), 100m from a mini market, and is super close to 3 different subway stations!"

"This is the only capsule hotel in Kyoto that has a mixed floor, meaning a floor for both guy & girl which is convenient for a couple like us travelling as we don't want to be on different floor for the night. The room is just a bed with all the remote & key being the Ipod that was passed to you during check in. The troublesome thing is to make sure the ipod is fully charged at all time if not, it will affect on how you can control the light, air & stuffs. There is a place for everyone to mingle & eat. Cups & plates are also provided but do remember to do your own washing once you are done."
