"We stayed at the bungalow. It was new and clean and the air con worked perfectly as did everything else. The best place to stay in Ao Nang for sure! Stayed for 6 days for 280€. Definitely worth the money and a lot cheaper than the other big hotels nearby and definitely better!"

"This is our 2nd hotel at Krabi. Regretted that we should book this hotel for our 5 days stay in Krabi. Hotel was newly built and with jacuzzi and slide at the swimming pool. Nice set up of swimming pool with pool bar. We get free upgrade by the staff to corner room. Thanks for this. "

"Hi, So my husband and I just returned from our Thailand trip. We stayed fro two days in Krabi. I had booked the room with Golden Beach resort. We arrived at around one and within 10 mins had our room ready. We were given a free upgrade to Private suite which was overlooking the Ao Nang beach. The room was just fabulous and spacious. The staff is very courteous and helpful. in terms of cleanliness it was great. The location is great as I already mentioned, the beach is right in front of your room. the food is also great. There is a nearby market and cheap restaurants offering very good, value for money offring food. you get plenty of vegetarians options as well. All in all a five star to this place."

"We had good luck to get a special rate, else the place would have been a bit expensive. But it's worth the money! Arriving there was already a 'WOW'. The ride from Krabi airport was around 40min. We took one of the Vans waiting at the airport. Not the cheapest choice but definitely the most convenient one. The staff in the Resort war very helpful and friendly and the room, I guess we had one of the best, had the view of these islands there close to the coast. Just magnificent! The room was very clean, modern design and well equipped with even a microwave and a refridgerator+freezer. So, if you want a cool beer in the evening and you don't want to go to the resto, no problem. The balcony is also big and invites to hang around there. Speaking about restaurant, great food there for a very reasonable price. Seefood for around 300 Baht ... possible. The breakfast was very enjoyable too as they provide a different selection every day. No chance to get bored! The terrace of the breakfast area offers a magnificent view of the islands. So you like to stay a bit longer here. And not to forget, in the evening there is a nice live music in the resto from 2 Filipinos. If you want to go to Ao Nang or Krabi you need a taxi or the Resort offers also a transport (at least to Ao Nang). Only, it's not free. So if you want to go out for dining you may better stay in the Resort. The money for the trip is already your food. But for the sake of a change, going to Ao Nang is also fun. Lots of shopping there and many of the trips to the islands leave from there. If you want, you can book either in the Resort or directly in Ao Nang. If I will stay here again, sure! "

"Our stay was awesome! So much so that we went to Phi Phi for a few nights, then skipped Krabi town and came back here! The pool is a little small and crowded, the check in staff can be a little slow and the eggs lady at breakfast was pretty clueless but apart from that I totally loved it here. One thing their website doesn't say is that while it's in Krabi it's only accessible by boat. We drove, and had a hard time finding the office to park our car at but we found it in the end near the jetty. Our car was safe for a period of 5 nights and parking was free. The boat ride over was cheap, but pack light because lugging a suitcase from boat to boat wears thin! When you're at Realeigh Beach Krabi (the beach this hotel is on) make sure you walk around and check out the whole area - east and west side. Tip: get up early, the beach was deserted until about 8am (so too was the breakfast buffet). Meals in the restaurant were super tasty, much more expensive than other areas but generous serves and really tasty. The hotel has an activities centre that organises great day trips - make sure you pop in there to do a day trip. A day trip to all the islands was great fun - Chicken Island etc. The boat that the hotel organised was by far the best boat out on the water that day, so while it might be a tad more expensive it was worth it. We left our wallets, keys etc on the boat and they were well looked after by the staff. They also did a head count each time we got out to swim so safety was important to them - definitely recommend doing this through the hotel. Walking Street is right next door, although pretty small so don't expect much. I'll be skipping Krabi town next time I'm in the area and heading straight here. Best hotel in Krabi I think! "

"We booked the hotel with Agoda.com - including a free upgrade to a privacy cottage. I wouldnt recommend paying extra for a beach facing villa because you are facing the pool then the beach so you dont get any privacy in your room - privacy cottages are set back a little, we were in room 9004 which was on West Railay as the numbers get higher you are heading to East Railay which isnt as nice. If you read any comments about the staff then i would ignore them - i would say that the island has mixed cultures from the surrounding countries. The thai people are lovely and yes some of the other staff that work their are little abrupt but i would ignore it We got to the hotel via traveling from Krabi airport to ao nang via taxi (500bhart) and then longtail boat to west Railay - be aware of low tide and having to wade out in the sea with bags - it cost 100 bhart each and goes when 8 or more people were ready. Recommend only looking at hotels on West Railay if you want the beautiful scenery - hence why East railay is cheaper and to be honest smells with sewage. The tide goes at lunch leaving a muddy shore behind. I think this part of the island is the trade entrance for the hotels. Boat ride from Railay to Krabi 45mins longtail boat - nothing really worth visiting in the town - would suggest Ao Nang for shopping and if you need western shops this is your place. Hired a longtail boat for half a day 1600 bhart - island hoping around chicken island and Pra Nang Beach worth exploring - Ko Phi Phi is at least 2.30hrs away via longtail boat. Rayavadee Hotel is a must for dinner for at least 1 night - it is one of the top 100 places to stay in the world and whilst it is expensive to sleep their the restaurant is good value - you pay about £30 for wine compared to about £10 back home but to be honest we were sick of Singha beer towards the end of our tip. I would say that the Railay Bay resort which is next door to Rayavadee is the second best hotel on the Island es"

"When we come to Krabi, we always stay at the City Hotel, in the new part. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi and large safety deposit boxes for 30 Bath for all your stay. The market is just in front of the hotel. The sungthaews for Aonang or the bus station stop near the hotel. We reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet, clean and comfortable hotel in Krabi."
