We LOVED everything about this place. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They spoke excellent English. They were warm and welcoming at check in and every time we walked past. There is an elevator also if needed which after all the hiking and adventures we went on, we were grateful for. The room had the best ac on the whole island and it blew out evenly in the room. We stayed in room 3004, it walked out directly to the pool with a comfy lounge chair and deck. The pool was beautiful! Exactly as pictured, and clean. The whole resort was really clean! The bathroom had no smell and the shower actually got hot. The bed was comfy and the bedding was clean. The breakfast was different every morning and was fantastic. They had a lot of variety with food and beverages. They also have a lunch buffet daily that seemed great for families. But we never tried it. Next door there is Mama Beach Restaurant that had excellent food! French, Thai, Italian, and American food. They also have a bar on the beach that makes some of the best, fresh cocktails I have ever had. I also feel like the maps are deceptive. These properties are so close we thought the beach bar was part of Cliff Beach. We had no problem with the resort not having its own bar since 20 feet from the entrance there was beach bar. The beach was great for swimming. There are several bars, restaurants, shops, and massages within a one minute walk. The pp nice beach massage was our favorite! What's better than a massage on the beach? In my opinion it was more than worth it to get the pool room. We spent our mornings lounging between the pool and the room. We left Koh Phi Phi for Ao Nang and the staff made it so easy. We bought our ferry ticket from the front desk. They had a speed boat pick us up on the beach and taxi us over to the pier. I cannot rave about this hotel enough. We stayed else where prior two other nights in a room similar in price. The two didn't even come close in comparison. This will

We really enjoyed our stay at the Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort (formerly Outrigger Phi Phi) - the rooms were beautiful and clean, the bathroom/shower were fantastic, the staff extremely friendly, and the resort truly beautiful right along the beach. This place truly is a resort and if you stay you could spend your entire trip there if you preferred. The food is very good for being an island off of the coast of Thailand (not a typical cuisine-directed destination) with a surprising amount of variety between the locations. The biggest frustration for us during our travel was the difficulty in accessing the main town area (Tonsai / Loh Dalum Bays) from the hotel. It takes about ~30-40 minutes by long-tail or 20-25 minutes by speedboat to transfer between the two. The hotel does run one shuttle in the morning ~10am (if I remember correctly), that returns ~3pm; however, the rest of the access is on your own. While this is a benefit because the resort is far removed from the crazy/party/noise associated with the rowdy backpacker festivities on the main beaches, there is a negative in the inability to access that scene if so desired. The true way to describe this place is "secluded" - so make sure that's what you want before you book! Either way the resort will blow you away, but location is definitely an important factor when selecting a place to stay while on Koh Phi Phi - Stayed July 2015

My boyfriend and I went to Koh Phi Phi from Bangkok with no hotel arranged. Upon a recommendation from someone we met on the Ferry we booked the Princess for 3 nights. The rooms were very big and clean and the infinity pool is spectacular with a great view and very close to the beach. It is a mix of couples, families and solo travellers. It is close to the bars and night parties on the beach, but far enough away that you don't feel overwhelmed by the noise or busy part of the main strip. We ended up booking 2 extra nights at the Princess before heading to Chiang Mai. I would highly recommend the Princess. While you can get cheaper accommodations on the island, if you are looking for a beautiful hotel for a relaxing experience that is close to everything the Princess is the best hotel you can stay at! Totally worth the money. We will definitely come back!

This resort area was nice with lots of trees and plants around. It's right at the beach front, but there is no beach view from the rooms because there are restaurants blocking the view. You have a view from the restaurants though. There are lots of mosquitoes around, but not in the rooms. There is lots of construction going on, but it's not super noisy, and there is construction all around koh phi phi. The rooms are nice and very clean, but a bit old/damp. The ac unit works really well though so the dampness goes away once it is running. There is no mould on the walls or anything like that, and the shower and toilet work very well. The pool is very small and crowded, but the pool design is great for young kids, they really love it! The staff cleans the pool daily. It's a bit of a walk to a lot of the recommended restaurants, but there are restaurants closer by too. There were multiple big tour groups staying at this resort when we were there, so sometimes it seemed very crowded, almost like its own little town. Villa resort is right next door and less crowded, but it's right in the open, some cabins right in front of the walking path/road. Really open, but they have a beach view. Overall, Andaman Beach Resort was a good stay for us, we really liked it. We had read reviews and knew that the rooms and resort breakfasts on koh phi phi were not amazing so our expectations weren't super high. The staff was lovely and helpful and like kids. I'd stay here again if I was keen to stay in that area of koh phi phi (between long beach and the town center/pier).

+ : Amazing service - free pickup from the pier, shuttles to your rooms if asked, VERY nice and friendly staff. nice activities on the beach, good service at the beach bar, boat-trips service, scuba diving center (very good instructors!), fire shows at 9PM every night, free minibar in the room. AMAZING BEACH - the best beach in koh phi phi (and for us in whole thailand). we went to beach trips and saw them all. nothing is compared to this. specialy when you get the option to sleep there and not just for 10 minutes. Cristal clear water! with fish swiming with you., you can see your legs in deep water. Amazing view of the island and koh phi phi lee, and the best beach to see the sunset. Close to sharks point where you can snorkel and actualy see sharks! (black-tip) and amazing fish. It was the best relaxing and authentic experience! We've been there for 6 nights and didnt want to leave. We'll come back for sure

This place exceeded expectations 100 fold. The room we were given was huge, at least 600 square feet complete with a small patio and glass encased standing shower. Bath robes were provided and the in room refrigerator mini bar had Chang stocked for just slightly above mainland prices. Wi-fi was fast and reliable, A/C unit worked to perfection and the shower delivered good pressure and mostly constant temperatures. The whole place is designed with purpose! Clean and organized which made me feel at home and instantly relaxed for a night on a Thai island. Originally when I booked a hotel in Koh Phi Phi I saw many hotels with very cheap prices. However after looking more closely at reviews it appeared that I made a critical error in selection. Luckily I was able to cancel the reservation on booking.com via Southwest.com Hotels/Rapid Rewards site. Then found Chao Kho Phi Phi Hotel and knew that was the best option and booked it instantly.

The pool is beautiful and is better than it looks in the photos. The standard room had great air conditioning. The location was perfect if you want to relax but also just a short walk from all the nightlife the island has to offer. But the reason why they are truly amazing was the service. Every staff member was incredibly nice and helpful, especially the manager at the front desk. I left a bag at the airport in Krabi and they were able to get it sent out to the hotel in Koh Phi Phi. It was a difficult situation because of langauage barriers with the airport and airline but the manager helped me communicate the situation when needed and set it up so it was delivered in about 8 hours. I really can’t thank her enough.

This hotel has a great location, especially for those wanting to dive near Koh Phi Phi. There are approximately six dive shops within a three-minute walk from the lobby. We also found our garden wing room - one of the newer rooms in the back of the resort - to be very quiet and cool throughout the day. The linens were especially clean, the shower was hot, and had plenty of pressure. The staff was very accommodating, including the bellman who brought our bags both to and from the pier. This is especially convenient since there are no motorized vehicles in the middle of Koh Phi Phi. There are plenty of good restaurants all around the hotel, but we also found the hotel restaurant to be a good option, although a bit disorganized when things got busy. The hotel has a small clean pool, but not a lot of sun chairs. The beach is great for looking out at the bay, but is not a swimming or sunning beach. Long tail boats to Maya Bay for swimming and snorkeling can be arranged for approximately 1500 THB per boat. The strength of this hotel is its clean, quiet location close to all of Phi Phi's transportation options.

Our stay was wonderful! The resort is right on Long Beach, the best beach on Phi Phi Don, and directly faces Phi Phi Lay. Breakfast was excellent with a magnificent view. The 20 minute walk to town is over rocks and hills, so it's not for everyone, but we enjoyed it. This distance keeps Long Beach relatively secluded and very quiet, so we were pleased. Hire a "taxi boat" to pick you up early in the morning (we left at 6:30am)from the hotel beach and you'll have the most spectacular, major tourist locations all to yourselves! We were the only ones swimming in Losamah Bay and Pileh Bay, and shared Maya Beach with just a few sailboats. You'll love Koh Phi Phi and this hotel.

The path to the hotel was being renovated and there seems to be a new hotel being built next to it so I was a little anxious walking up to it from the pier, however I was overall impressed by the hotel. Lobby area is nice and we were greeted with a drink and shown to our rooms promptly. Rooms were a little dated but nice for what we booked (£28 pp pn) and far nicer than most other places on the island. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the pool/view/location. Right on the beach, the pool overlooks the amazing views of Koh Phi Phi and on a nice day you can spend many an hour laying on the plentiful sun loungers. At night if you want to sample the Phi Phi party life on the beach, it's close enough to walk to easily and just far enough away to drown out the music until the early hours. Staff were good as well, the guy by the pool seemed to do food, drinks, laundry and booked a half day snorkelling for us. Good hotel but made better by Phi Phi itself.

This place was by far the best place I've stayed at. Went there with my GF and make sure you ask for the sea view room. At a place like this, you will regret it since its so beautiful with big windows all throughout the walls. Breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff is so kind. Wifi is fast as well. You have your own private beach literally less than 50 meters away and can snorkel. I will def come here again when in Koh Phi Phi

Koh Phi Phi is a nice island that likes to party. Cobble Beach is away from the party zone but close enough to town for all the shops and restaurants (5-10 minute walk). The view is absolutely gorgeous from cobble beach with all the bungalowsooking over the bay. The restaurant was nice. The staff (including the owner who did a lot of work and was present) was very accommodating. Since the island is motor-free, they had guys who carried your luggage to your rooms from the pier and back upon departure. The pool was small but very nice. The whole setting was just perfect. The aircon was nice and cold. We would certainly stay there if we go to KPP again.

Arriving by ferry, the Phi Phi hotel is hard to miss. It is easily the biggest building on Koh Phi Phi and as such has views across the entire island. The room we had overlooked the (much prettier) North Beach and opening the blinds each morning was a genuine treat. The staff at the hotel were always very courteous and quick to answer any questions/fix any problems. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was fairly standard, but it was tasty and everything seemed fresh.

Staying at the PP Princess hotel was a dream. We didn't realize that we booked the "Pool Villa" and were blown away when we had our own villa with a pool overlooking the beautiful beach of the Phi Phi Island. This beach was excellent because it was a bit quieter and less crowded than the rest. The service was exceptional here and we were greeted in our villa with welcome drinks by the friendly staff. The Villa itself was also spacious, clean and updated. All in all I would give our experience there a 10/10! One downfall is the loud music from the bar next door... ear plugs are a must if you can't sleep through loud music. The villa was so beautiful that it outweighed the loud night. This was an incredible place to stay! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island.

This hotel saves us after the hotel we were originally supposed to be staying at turned out to be nothing like it was advertised! They accommodated us very last minute and we were very impressed at the quality of the hotel and facilities. The pool was really lovely and the hotel is situated right on the beach. It is also only a 5 minute walk from the main pier. The rooms were very spacious and the shower was powerful. Only negative was there were tiny bugs in the bathroom but it’s Thailand so what can you really expect? We really enjoyed our stay at the Harbour View hotel and would 100% stay here again if we returned to Phi Phi island.

Fantastic resort away from the main touristy area of Koh Phi Phi, great for relaxation and much more private than on the main, busier stretch of beach on the other side of the island. The only downside is the walk from reception the room...depending on where your room is situated in the resort...ours was a little bit of a trek, as was the main shopping/eating/drinking part of Koh Phi Phi.

We searched for quite a while for a place to stay in Phi Phi, when we booked this place we still weren't sure we made the right choice but after checking-in and staying there, we know we made the best choice. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Phi Phi. Pros -Saftey deposit box -Very clean -They give you room towels and beach towels -Spacious -Its in a market so at night the market shuts down and it's quiet in the hotel no noise from busy strip -Location is perfect close to beach, viewpoint trails, busy night life and pire -Great value for money -The best thing about this place is it's right beside a restaurant called Chill Lay which has hands down the best food we've had in all of Thailand. After discovering the place we exclusively ate there! Would go back just for them! (In fact we did) Cons -None in our opinion. This is a great place to stay. The only heads up is since it's in the market it was tough to find the first time.

Very nice, helpfull, profesionall staff. Amazing view on the bay, settled on top hill on the best Long beach in Koh Phi Phi. Bungalows, accomodations, equipment is the best. Breakfast perfect with service. The stairs up and down twice a day is ok. Firstly we stayed only for 3 nights, after we extended our stay next 5 nights. Really very nice, kind and polite people there. I highly appreciate their attitude and recomended this resort to spent your holiday in a piece and relax place.

I have only good things to say about this resort. The staff is very nice and helpful and they did their best to please us. We received for free, from their side, the breakfast and one taxi transport to Tonsai (the harbour in Koh Phi Phi Don). Besides they have really good prices for private tours. The bungalows are clean, well equiped, quiet and spacious. The beach is one of the best in Phi Phi Don, allthough is noisy and a little bit polluted due to the taxi boats which are very often comming and going.

After reading previous reviews. The Holiday Inn was everything I expected. Although, it is a bit expensive, it was definitely worth it. The beaches, water, and sunsets from that part of Koh Phi Phi are breathtaking. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast that was included in the room price was first rate. The Holiday Inn also had a happy hour every day where most drinks were BHT 100 ($3.00). The bungalow where we stayed was a seaview and was great for the price. If it is in your price range I would recommend staying in the seaview or beach bungalows. The gardens are up on the hill and away from the beach. In addition, there is a great place to watch the sunset from a bar on a hilltop that overlooks the ocean. After checking out the other accommodations on that part of Koh Phi Phi Island, I think the Holiday Inn is your best bet. The Zaeveola is just as good if not better, but much more expensive. For those who are on a budget, there is area right next to the Holiday Inn called Gypsie Sea Village. Here you can eat, and buy groceries for much cheaper than the Holiday Inn or any of the other hotels. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. There are no t.v.'s in the room and the hotel has 2 computers for internet in the lobby. The rate they charge is $7.00/hour. Finally, there is no nightlife here, but if you are considering this part of the Island, you are not interested in that anyway.

We booked through agoda just a few days before so we didnt have many options on our room as the resort was full. We could only book one day but staff was nice enough to let us stay extra nights as they saved our room for us the next day! All the staffs were nice with good sense of humour. The breakfast was great with sea view. One of the most comfy bed I have experience all through Thailand. We tried some other resorts in Koh Phi Phi but Bayview is our favourite. They have some sunbeds and shades in front of their own private beach. The location is great, less than 10min walk to the center/pier. Opposite of the party beach so we could have a quiet relaxing night. The resort offers free boat transportation to the pier everyday on a certain time which was also great. In order to get to our room we had to walk some stairs but it didnt bother us. Almost all the resorts in the island is built that way anyway. Highly recommend this place!

The staff will meet you at the Ferry to help transport your luggage to the hotel. This is a complimentary service, but our help was extremely thankful for his tip. The majority of the hotels and hostels on Phi Phi are on the other side of the island, on the "town" side, where it can get a little crazy. This side is quite and great for anyone looking for a bit of a romantic feel. If you are looking to party, it's not for you, but I'd recommend for any couple. Great view and nice spots to get food, drinks and a Thai massage right on the beach!

This hotel is for those wanting to see Koh Phi Phi or to use it as a base for activities. We stayed here while we dived on Koh Phi Phi although this seems to be the most expensive place to dive in Thailand. There's a good buffet breakfast with hot and cold foods. It's a 10 minute flip flop walk into town but only 3 minutes to either the North or South Beach. There are bars close by. Be aware that Koh Phi Phi has become a destination for mass Chinese tourists and as a result, the island has developed to cater for these. Maya beach is NOT worth visiting. It has most definitely lost its charm and you certainly won't want another 1000 tourists in your photos... Although, if you just want to get to a film set then crack on! It will cost you about 400B per person for the taxi/tour bout to the island and then another 100B per person for some random, probably made up, tourist tax. Maya bay is fulllll of tourists and boats. It is not tranquil, you'd be better off saving the money and staying on one of the Eastern beaches around the island... they are fantastic.

My friend and I were lucky enough to stay at Rantee Cliff Beach Resort due to flash deal on Agoda! We knew we wanted to stay on Koh Phi Phi and we left wanting to stay longer! Rantee Cliff offers an affordable, clean, and an authentic experience on Koh Phi Phi. A short 20 minute longtail boat from the Pier. My friend and I stayed both in their beach front bungalow and ocean view birds nest luxury room. The hotel/resort has been open for nearly a year and has the potential to go so far! Mrs. Thing, her husband, and the staff truly work hard to make their guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. They should be nearly done building their "All Teak Bar and Lounge." Sign up for their private longtail to hop the islands...totally affordable! I will definitely be visiting them again.

This resort is in an amazing location! Close enough to the action if you want to party and quiet enough if you want to stay in and relax. Phi Phi has a very chilled out atmosphere and that's how the resort feels. Breakfast was a pretty standard buffet you find in all resorts. Only this I can really fault them on is giving us the list of fines (I think this was mentioned in another review) if you lose the key, take towels and all that and no outside guests past 10pm. I felt like I was on schoolies (spring break for the Americans out there). Staff were helpful with our enquiries. Price is steeper than I expected to pay but more places are in Koh Phi Phi but this resort was bug free and as a good a smell as you can get in Thailand. Places might be more expensive but meals are cheaper that Phuket, beer is cheaper and lots of happy hours and specials. I recommend a snorkeling trip too, one of the half day ones! Expect 100 baht for Thai food 60 baht for small beer (Chang) Around 100 baht for a large one Snorkeling costs anywhere between 400-600 for half a day, shop around a bit. They'll take you to Maya bay (from The Beach) amongst some other places everyone else gets taken.

Sadly koh phi phi has changed into party island for young. But its still lovely place, and good facilities to support family needs. You can make what you want of phi phi, enjoy the beach life or party hard, something for everyone ☺ The Ibiza Hotel has 2 swimming pools, 1 set back ideal for families and front pool is where the 2-3times week pool parties are held. All good fun. Staff at hotel superb and nice cabanas too.

You know what you imagine when you think about the Thai Islands? Phi Phi Relax Resort fulfills that image to a tee. Tucked away on the other side of the island (far away from the tourist hell of Ton Sai), Phi Phi Relax completely lives up to its name. We booked a Garden Bungalow, which was fine, but I'd recommend booking one of the bungalows with a sea view or at least higher up on the hillside. Bungalows are private, but spaced quite close together so noise travels at night. Once you're there, you're basically hostage to their restaurant and store, although prices are quite reasonable. There's a large selection of food, both Western and Thai, to make everybody happy. FYI - breakfast is not included In the price of the bungalows. There is a "safe" area that is centrally held for which they do not charge. However, once you check in your things, it will cost you 50 baht to check it out and you can only do that once (I found this a bit annoying). We booked a full-day Koh Phi Phi (Donn and Leh) trip through the resort and were quite pleased. Food and snorkeling gear were provided, and the friendly guide moves at the group's pace. The hotel also rents snorkeling equipment for use during the day. Note: the resort is only accessible by long tail boat, which runs 300 baht/pp from Ton Sai. When you get to the main dock, look for the guy with dreads, he'll guide you to the right boat. If you're expecting infinity pools and a butler - this isn't your kind of place. Electricity only runs from 6pm-6am and the showers are cold...but with a gorgeous beach and aquamarine water right in front of you, what more do you need?

First of all, please note that this hotel is not in Koh Phi Phi Town but on the northern part of the island - Laemtong beach. In order to get there you will need a ferry to Ton Sai pier and then another one to Laemtong. Some ferry companies make the entire route. There is a hiking trail from Laemtong to Ton Sai that passes through the view point - Very impressive spot, took us two hours in good weather and flip flops. However, if you are into richer nightlife and muay thai then Ton Sai is the place for you.

This place is gorgeous, and very secluded and quiet. Little village about 10-15minute walk has a few fun bars, food, massage, shops. Beautiful infinity pool, and was like our own private resort because apparently, people just kind of stay in their cottages a lot. Did an island-hopping and snorkeling tour, which was fun. Only drawback, they say in their description that there is a private beach. That isn't really true, and was a bit disappointing. There is a tiny strip of land that is very rocky when the tide is out, and completely under water when the tide comes in. Also, not an issue for me, but could be for some - there are a ton of stairs. The entire staff is incredibly nice. One caution regarding travel within SE Asia - AirAsia is frequently quite late, both arriving and departing (was traveling from Kuala Lumpur). I arrived too late to catch the last boat out to Koh Phi Phi the afternoon I arrived, so I missed the first night of my booking. The hotel won't do refunds, period.
