Everest Region (Nepal) hotels & accommodations
Room heating inadequate...if the night temp outside is freezing, expect to shiver inspite of the bed heating.
Never expect to find such a good place to stay high in the mountain. Free hot shower of your own! Electric blanket to keep you warm while you sleep. A flask of hot water in your room to keep you warm. Owner and his family are Super helpful, friendly and nice and can speak very good English! Even though it’s not near the Bazar where you can conveniently buy stuff and ...
We stayed at the family-run Hotel Khangri for several nights and couldn't fault it. The location is perfect, nestled right between the shops/ bars and best bakery in Namche. The rooms/ toilets/ shower are clean and spacious; Goma the young girl who cleans is fantastic and the happiest, nicest person ever! The food which is all cooked by the mum, Nima Doka Sherpa, is t...
Arrived after an 8 hour trek st 3.30pm. No hot water to refreshen. Paying the price for such facilities. Manager sai no hot water till after dinner. How can one have dinner. Then manage said dinner was only served at 7pm. No other times. My friends in other cheaper hotels had more flexibility. We were given a hot water bucket to bath with. Rushed for dinner. Guess w...
I regret that I booked for 3 nights. Given the price, I expected more. The $10 breakfast was also a disappointment (stale bread, a bowl of cornflakes & muesli, slices of cheese, "anemic" coffee, and very sweet artificial fruit juice). The room felt so cold, the only warm place was under the sheets (good thing there was an electric blanket). A small portable heater ...
I tried to cancel my reservation because I couldn’t go and I’ll go to would not let me do it online. I want to dispute this claim please contact me
Our party of two stayed at the Monjo Everest Summit Lodge and their Lukla Lodge. They were both quite clean and the staff at both locations were great! We were very happy with our stay and hope to be back when we go trekking again.
We enjoyed our stay at Everest Summit Lodge - Pangboche. Many thanks to Breakfree Adventures - locally owned tour company who organized our stay here for the trek to Everest base camp. Highly recommended.
