Bentong hotels & places to stay

Really close to Bentong Walk, room is clean, toilet is big. Parking is front of the hotel main busy road is limited but there's a large parking lot right behind the hotel. Many coffee shops just some walking distance away. Staffs are friendly & helpful. I'm quite satisfy with the hotel. I was on a night's stay in Bentong for a meeting. Booked a single person room. Maybe the hotel needs to fix the staircase leading to 2nd floor, there's a step with broken edge. WiFi is fast but intermittent.

We arrived but nobody there to greet us. Keys were left in a safe deposit box outside, so had to phone to get code. Room was clean and we were the only guests for two days so had house to.ourselves. Security cameras all over house except inside bedroom. Not sure if they were working. A bit like the big brother house. Owner arrived on our last day and kindly gave us as lift to the bus station.

Easy booking via Agoda and got a good rate. Place is great for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet surroundings, fresh clean air, and easy access to the river in Janda Baik. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom is clean and adequate. Breakfast buffet that we got was nasi lemak, kue-teow and bee hoon goreng. Also available, bread with the usual spreads, a toaster, coffee and tea, plus milk and cereal. We enjoyed playing in the very clean river. Will return again for another getaway.

We booked one triple & one quad room - clean & comfortable. The 3-story building has elevator, which eased us to carry our things. Very fast check-in & check-out process. Since the nearest town Bentong is 16 km away & it gets very congested on weekends/ public holidays, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant - the ala carte menu was good & the breakfast spread has a lot of varieties. The best part of all is of course the pools - kids pool, adult pool & two hot pools. We enjoyed the hot pool in the morning as it was less hot compared to the previous afternoon. You can also enjoy the pools & facilities if you don't stay at the hotel at a very reasonable rate of RM10 (adult) & RM8 (children) per entry. We'll definitely consider coming back again for the hot pool dip :-)

To be honest, after reading the reviews from internet, i hesitated to book. But this hotel was the best located for the purpose of my stay ( actionasia event malaysia 50 race) Then i decided to give it a try. Booking was smooth. I received a pdf file with all the resort's policies. no surprises regarding late checkin or anything else. Check in was smooth. eventhough the staff got very limited english skills, he was very nice, and wanted to be sure everything was clear. The room was very clean. of course, it's not the most modern compared to KL center but I feel it's still ok for such a remote location. Room got TV, fan. my room did not get AC but no surprise: i knew it. Toilet and shower were really clean. with some soap / shampoo provided. Check out was smooth. i could stay a little longer than 12 as i came back late from the race to take a shower. Overall staff was very friendly, organizing taxi back to KL for me.

this facility was value for money. very clean. I like the kitchen with all the utensil which makes is easy to cook for young children and rooms are clean and comfortable. My only setback was the strong and stinky cat poops from the next door neighbours. sorry that I have to mention this. Overall, this was a really good value for money homestay. I highly recommend this for families who travels big. Thanks to the owners who were fast and quick getting in touch for the self check-in and check out which was so convenient.

We are having so much fun here. The room was so good (include bathtub too!). The donuts is so yummy.. We love this hotel as well. But, if not bcoz of the helpful staff (name : Nisha) who help us to call her friend to take us back to KL, I dont know how to reach KL That day! Bcoz there are no Teksi and GRAB at that area. So, if you want, you have to pay for a big amount of money bcoz the Taksi will charge you for 2 ways (taksi are only at KL/Genting, not at Bentong area). The bus shuttle from Colmar have been full booked until the last schedule and they said, if we are using the luggage, we can't use that bus shuttle too! So, maybe if I can give an input, please make it easier to us who book hotel (who have a luggage) to go back to KL. Thanks..

Staying at Cherengin Hills is excellent experience... Never saw such a wonderful services in my life.. My wife ordered some local food but didn't like it.. Hotel staff not only changed it but also didn't charge it anything for that order. Staff is available all the time to serve you the best.. View and location of the hotel is excellent. Only concern is it's far away from Genting and u need to have rent a car or own car to come to this place..

Beautiful grounds, landscaping maintained well and a variety of local fruit trees, flowers and resident animals (horse, chickens, etc) on site makes it all a very educational and exposure for my toddler. Don’t expect a five star resort, people. (I’ve seen some previous post complaining on ants and no phone line?) seriously, it’s a simple life away from the city. Has a pool! Good for the kids and adults. It’s not a huge place or dense so you will have plenty of privacy. At that time we visited maybe also it wa not a peak season. Near enough to drive to Bentong town for food and lotsa durian stalls on the way! Must try Toki Lemang.

We really got to relax in nature by doing nothing much yet we had the option of: 1. ATV-ing 2. Swimming in Chamang waterfalls (use insect repellent!!!) 3. Going for a nature walk/ hill trek. 3. Heading to Bentong town nearby 4. Eating at a nearby restaurant "Tanah Aina" which was by the river. Good food! The staff were very hospitable and friendly. I would go back and have already recommended it to envious friends.

Thank you to everyone at the Chateau who made our stay enjoyable, pampered us and for generally making us feel like superstars; the service was seamless and faultless. You'll often come across hotels in Malaysia that say they're five star, and maybe in 1998 they were, so it can be a bit nerve wrecking when rocking up to a new place that you've stumbled upon on Agoda. This resort will not disappoint you - from the relaxed atmosphere, best night's sleep in comfortable rooms, experiencing a blissful spa treatment, dining on a healthy menu, stretching out during the complimentary morning yoga and devouring the endless delicious organic buffet breakfast, that you'll want to try to recreate, photograph and pin! All the reception, service and restaurant staff members are what makes the place so special - nothing is too much trouble, they can read minds and if you're feeling too healthy they make mean cocktails too. Merci! The no U12 rule worked for us and added to the enjoyment. The French restaurant was rather special but I felt it was overpriced on top of everything else so opted to eat in the more relaxed pool restaurant and drank in the bar. We left the resort for a few minutes to visit the 'french themed' sister resort but scurried back to our oasis! We will be back! *Note the Chateau couldn't match Agoda member price so book on here!

my friends and i had a fantastic time at le manah retreat. now i know, why the owner named it as such. its a javanese words, literary translated as "calmness for the soul". with well maintain compound, carefully designed compound and small water-creek running right in front the gate to the house, you cant ask for anything much better than this resort. lovely... though, the owner need to put signage showing direction to the resort. we were not the only group that got lost looking for the house.
