Belfast hotels & places to stay

It is very close to the bus which goes every 5-10 minutes directly to city centre (only 6- stops so could even walk). In historical area o Belfast, very interesting to walk. Very nice room (which is not always the case in Belfast places). You can also use washing machine, water cooker and frich etc. Make sure you contact the owner good time in advance on arranging check-in. Owner very nice. Will stay here next time as well.

I had a great stay. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very nice (cooked Ulster fry breakfast), and the location was great. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The room was clean and a good size, and included everything I needed. The shared shower was essentially brand new. The only thing to note are the walls are rather thin, so be wary of obnoxious guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend and would stay again when I visit Belfast next time.

The hotel is within minutes of Belfast City Airport. Was greeted at tha reception in a friendly polite manner, the hotel had gone out of its way to provide our room early as we needed to get changed to attend a function. The rooms were spacious,clean with all the facilities you would expect. The bar provide good range of drinks with background entertainment. The morning saw a wide selection of choices for breakfast served by professional staff. Finished the visit basking in the small but delightful garden.

Everything about this hotel is excellent Comfortable bed Fluffy white towels Freshly cooked breakfast Within walking distance to city centre Theatre etc etc However the BEST thing about this hotel was the STAFF They were friendly chatty supportive gave freely of their advice while at all times remaining professional and showed an interest in us as guests Greeting us each day Enquiring what we were going giving us tips on visits and on returning asking did we have a good day We highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again

On arrival we had a serious altercation with the very unhelpful taxi drivers outside the hotel. Traffic approaching the hotel entrance is very busy so it is not clear to see where to pull in. We thought the taxis were waiting to pull in for drop off and pick up but the entrance to the hotel is just beyond this point, they could have explained this in a far more polite manner but instead were very irate, not a good first impression or welcome to Belfast City. Our rooms were small, although of very high quality furnishings with comfortable beds. The en-suite was ample but would have preferred a full bathroom. The Piano bar lacked atmosphere with no provision of background music and no-one playing the piano?? Check in and check out we had issues with breakfast. Although it had been pre paid by telephone it was not obvious to reception staff on their system so had to wait on this being confirmed, then again on check out where additional breakfasts had been added to our bill. Provision of refreshments in both rooms were very poor. Concierge were very helpful and efficient and as my first and last impression of the hotel I will remember this in particular. Although this is a beautiful hotel, it lacked those little extras to make it special and stand out from the other equally lovely hotels in Belfast of this standard.

Didn’t get chance to stay at apartment this time. Stayed before and enjoyed it but on arriving this time we stood outside for 25 mins with all our stuff and phoned every contact number given. No response. Only that I knew they had an office at obel tower in Belfast we Wud been stranded. Had to pack up and drive across town. Got told short staffed so no one to check us in at st Thomas street. Moved to the Gallery apartment instead and bottle of prosecco. Guy was very friendly and don’t blame him but poor from the company. At least leave a sign on door to explain what to do if no staff are present. Wasted an hour and half.

The Radisson Blu Belfast is in an ideal location on the fringe of the city, close to St George's Market. It's a quiet haven and only a 10 minute stroll into the heart of Belfast and the Titanic Quarter and not much further if you set out for Queens University and the Botanical Gardens. I can't fault the hotel at all, it was modern, clean what was expected, but, the Radisson Blu Belfast has the friendliest, most helpful reception staff encountered on many a city break. The score of three was given for food dining as there is no NA column (we ate out)

By far the best Hilton Hotel i have ever visited so far !! Great location, not far from the airport, can take the bus straight from the airport, and the room was nice, clean and comfortable !!!! Also, its not far from the department store nor some of the best restaurants in Belfast !!! Most importantly, enjoy the waterfront while take a walk to the Titanic Experience !!! Hilton Belfast Hotel has the best location in Belfast, where you will be able to go anywhere you like in a short distance !!! I'd definitely come back again !!!!!

Ibis is centrally located in the city. Unfortunately we unknowingly booked during for the 12 July (if you want to travel around the region - don't do that as it is during the marching period). Everything about the hotel though was great - very comfortable rooms, a bathroom that looks like a space shuttle, comfy bed, air conditioning - all the good stuff. They also have a bar and restaurant downstairs which we spent a lot of time due to most things being closed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and offered good advice on Northern Ireland. Parking is also available across the road (I think it is maybe 3 Euro (or maybe it is included - can't remember)) and the hotel will validate your card. The only critical comment I would make is that wifi wasn't very reachable from the room so I had to stay in the lobby where I could receive reception (which suited me fine as I ordered a few pints from the bar!!) If I was returning to Belfast - I would definitely return!

Don’t know how to start with but overall it has been a great experience staying at Tara Lodge. Great property great location. Best part is that staff at reception is really helpful and caring. I booked GOT tour with some travel company and they were supposed to pick me and my wife from reception at 8:30AM. We were waiting for tour company to pick us but they came and took some different name and went. When we called them around 9, they said our driver came and we were not there which was quite annoying and frustrating and they were not ready to believe that we were waiting for them. Sinead who is manager at Tara Lodge heard my conversation and spoke to tour company immediately and informed them that we were waiting and driver who came took some different name and helped us to get refund from that tour company treating that as some confusion. Since we just had that day to do Gisnt Causeway tour, she also helped us to arrange tour for us in no time and made sure that we make most of our trip in Belfast. Trust me this has been a wonderful experience in all my travel diary and I will never forget this. Thanks you very much to all the staff members at Tara Lodge.. keep rocking!!! Highly recommended. If I ever come to Belfast again, will stay with you.

The hotel was easy to find on my GPS. it was only 3 minutes from the centre of Belfast city. The hotel is modern, clean nd comfortable. Staf was very nice. There is good parking area at the bck which is secure. The rooms are modern. Uses key card. Room is very clean and nice. Tere is internet throughout the hotel but only free in the lobby. internet by wifi. at the roomwe have to pay extra. the continental breakfast was available from 5am (very good if you need to get out early). The full breakfast start at 7 and finished at 10. Food was excellent. Staff was very nice. area was nice and safe. excellent hotel especially that we can use the agoda points in this hotel make it even better value.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect! The hotel was reasonably priced for the 3 nights and the location of the hotel was perfect, easy to get to all the other locations in Belfast. The hotel room had everything we needed (apart from a mini fridge, which was the only downside when we wanted to keep things cool). The staff in the hotel are wonderful and always happy to help. Would defiantly stay at The Malone Lodge again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a pleasant stay on our trip in Belfast and the location is great as it is located not far from the city centre. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within the area to purchase groceries. Tourist attraction is about 20-30 minutes walk from the apartment. Do note that only stairs are provided to transport luggages if you are staying on the 2nd / 3rd floor. Kindly call the person in charge before arriving to receive the procedure and codes to access the unit given.

This is my second time staying at the Fitzwilliam in Belfast and once again it did not disappoint. There was 4 in our group and all commented on the excellent service, the friendliness of the staff and the happiness to help us with our questions. There was 1 slight issue with the incorrect charge for a breakfast and the service that morning but it was quickly fixed and did not mar the stay or my impression of the hotel. It was cold during our stay so nothing better than sitting in front of the fire in the Lobby and enjoying a couple of quite drinks, perfect in the afternoon and even better when waiting to head out again. Once again an excellent stay and another chance to explore the surprising city that is Belfast.
