Where to stay in Bandung
Bandung hotels & accommodations

I have been staying in many hotels in Bandung but was my first time staying in Padma since this hotel is always fully booked. I stayed there last week to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I booked two rooms (Premier and Deluxe) via Agoda then sent my special request to Padma Hotel for decorating the premier room for my daughter's birthday surprise. Padma Hotel was very...

This is a new 5 star hotel that is located next to a large shopping mall and amusement park. It is not in the city centre which may be disadvantageous for some but it also means less of the typical heavy Bandung traffic. The rooms and fittings are luxurious and well kept. The staff are young, enthusiastic and well trained. Compared to other Bandung hotels in the city, ...

Very satisfied with the room facilities, cleanliness & facilities, although the check-in was a bit slow, we had to wait a while, for the requested non-smoking room to be cleaned & ready. Breakfast selection & varieties is excellent ! for both Asian and continental spreads. Location wise, its very good, as the hotel is just opposite Bandung Indah Plaza, that has a hyp...

this is one of the best value hotel in Bandung. Located in Riau (Jl. R.E. Martadinata), several famous clothing shop and restaurant is just a walking distance. The staff is very responsive. I'd complained about the water in the closet which keeps on running even after i shut it, it's settle within 30 minutes. The room is quite large and very clean. The breakfast has a ...

Local travelers who rarely frequent Bandung, especially those from Jakarta, would be pleasantly surprised when they stay at Hilton Bandung. Set with lower expectations of how nice 5-star hotels in Bandung would fare compared to the ones in Jakarta, these travelers would be quite awed with Hilton Bandung's modern and sophisticated design that is done flawlessly without ...

This is one of the best hotels in Bandung very close to most shopping malls like Paris Van Java and Pascal Mall. Very clean and tidy hotel and room was very neat and clean with super comfortable bed and pillows. This hotel deserve to be a 5 star hotel. Every staff was very welcoming and helpful in booking a taxi and explaining the places around. I would stay in this ho...

This was my maiden stay at Regata hotel where we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights stay in Bandung. Location is excellent as it neighbors Rumah Mode which is a mere 5-minute leisure walk from the hotel; can even see cars driving into Rumah Mode parking area from my hotel room. Adjacent to the hotel is the supermarket where you can procure your daily sundries (very conveni...

This is by far one of the best hotels in Bandung. Not a high class hotel, but not shabby either. If u r looking for clean n comfort, sensa has it all. The room is quite spacious, enough for u to even put yr luggage bag. Each rm has a balcony, the view is not really spectacular but Acceptable. We didhave a problem with our balcony door, jus needed to inf the front desk ...

We decided to stay at Interncontinental Bandung, as we want to stay in Five star hotel with gorgeous scenery view and fresh air. There are plenty of hotel close to nature and mountain view (Lembang area), but none of the hotel meet International five star standard. There are plenty of five star hotel in Bandung, but none of them, have beautiful view and modern design,...

I had a wonderful stay at The Luxton. The breakfast was excellent. The room is very clean n comfortable. My kids enjoyed swimming eventhough it rained evryday bec of the indoor swimming pool. My kids love the kids club. The only thing that need improvement is the parking area which is too small. But tht's not a big problem coz thy provide free vallet parking which is v...

Best location in the heart of Bandung city,, 10-15 minutes drive to Bandung Zoo and Paris Van Java Mall,, 5 minutes walk to Cihampelas Walk (large shopping mall in the area), Teras Cihampelas (hawker street local food), factory outlet. But i don't like the traffic jam around and front of the hotel (Cihampelas Street), faster n easier walking by foot better than driving...

We arrived at the hotel around 3.30 pm booking 2 family rooms. But one the room's toilet is leaking. Only 1 family room is available which I allocate to my daughter with her young family (with1 little kid and a baby). The receptionist was very nice to replace the faulty room with 2 Delux rooms for me & my wife and my son which I agreed. She said the family room will be...

Stayed there for 3 nites and booked 3 deluxe rooms. I happened to occupy the biggest room, no 355. The room 317 which my sister stayed is smaller and has 'fake' window aka windowless. What I like the most about the hotel is the location. Very easy to get taxi and restaurants are near. Shopping outlets cab be found all around the hotel, less fancy than those found ...

This is one hotel in Bandung that I will return to. We got a free upgrade thanks to the staff u knew that we are on a honeymoon. They were very helpful, especially Ricky (supervisor). He helped us arrange our transport and even sit and hang with us a little to introduce the hotel and himself. Other front desk staff we helpful as well, they recommended places where loca...

This is our 2nd time stayed at mercure, we never disappointed. Front officer is very nice and that time luckily our deluxe room is upgraded to priviledge room for free due to deluxe were full. Mercure Bandung City Centre is a new and hip place to stay in. It wasn't too expensive but I don't consider it very cheap either. But since it is new, I didn't mind paying the amount that I did. The decor of the hotel is modern and very pleasant. The room was quite spacious, and the bed very comfortable. I also spent considerable time at the pool, which was not very bi...

This hotel gets everything right. The price seems to be above the curve compared to other similar hotels in Bandung, but it's worth it. The room I stayed was clean, comfortable, and rather spacious. The staffs I interacted with were all friendly and accommodating. The location is great as well. Nice in-house hangout spots: the bar by the pool and the sky lounge.

Art Deco is a very beautiful hotel. The owner/designer meticulously designed every corner with perfection. It is located in uphill Ciumbeleuit. You may still feel the fresh cool air of Bandung. For runners, do challenge yourselves to exercise your uphill running. Good luck! I booked deluxe and premier rooms. The room size is enough, not too big not to small. The food i...

I stayed here in a group of family during 2018 new year. Stayed 2 nights from Dec 31st to Jan 2nd. Here is my impression of the hotel: 1. Location and facilities The hotel is strategically located in Jl. Bahureksa, very close to Jl. R.E Martadinata (or known as jalan Riau) where there are a lot of Factory Outlet and restaurants. Also close to Bandung Indah Plaza and ...

A very quiet environment for those who seek peace from town life and those who loves jogging and cardio. What I recommend to those who have book this place is to bring cup noodles if you do not intend to invest a lot on meals. Also they do not have any microwave so be prepared to eat before coming back to your villa. If water heater is the problem, fret not they do h...

The building looks quite old but I entered the room, the interior looks very new. They just renovated the hotel. The room is nice, comfy bed, everything in the toilet works fine. Wifi is average, what I like best is the homey feel. You can just open the window and feel the cold weather of Bandung. It has also a very tasty Japanese restaurant at the side of the hotel. T...

I stayed with my kid and this is the most recommended 4 stars hotel in Bandung. The hotel is not too large but they have a different style than others. I really love with our room, it's full touch of Parisian Classic Style which is sooo intagram-able. My kid is so in love with the pool, although is not a big pool, but the water was so warm. Only take 15 minutes to the ...

The Yellow Hotel Paskal in Bandung is located on top of The Paskal 23 Mall, at Paskal Hyper Square offering a great location in the City Centre and on top of a modern Shopping Mall. Surrounded by local outside & inside food courts and many other great Restaurants including international brand name shops and top notch Cinema as well as Children’s playground. Situated ...

This is the first time I stay in this hotel. Got a friendly staff hotel and their services is superb. Nice breakfast also and had variety of foods served. Good place for kids as well as they had nice swimming pool. Overall it is one of the best hotel in bandung. And I would stay again in this hotel for sure.

If you're in Bandung for the sole purpose of shopping - this is the BEST hotel location - infront of Pasar Baru Market and Heritage. The rooms are big/wide enough with all modern amenities. Since it's a 3 STAR hotel, thus there is no gym / pools. Breakfast served was good variety.

we stayed at this hotel for 4 days & 3 nights in october 2012. this hotel implementing a good security measures to protect their customers. there will be a car check up by the security officer before you are allowed to proceed to the hotel lobby entrance. at the lobby entrance we were welcomed by the hotel staff which is friendly & helpful. during the check in proces...

Cheap places to stay in Bandung

too bad that i couldn't make the trip and stay here, i had to cancelled because one of my family member got sick on the day that i had to leave. but the staff were very helpful regarding that i had to cancelled my booking on the day that i supposed to check in. i will surely chose here for my trip to bandung and i hope i wont have any obstacle at all, thank you

for this kind of price, 213k idr for 2 nights with double twin bed, tv, wifi, fan, and bathroom, is absolutely great deal. only it's quite far away from attractions in bandung. untuk manajemen, itu tolong ventilasi di kamar 104 diganti ya. ya kali di belakang kamar mandi pas ada ventilasi yg gede banget. selama stay disana jadi kita tutupin pake handuk. takut ada yg ...

Very pleasant really, the manager very kind and helpful, fixed a motorbike rental for me , delivered and returned to the door, even though he speaks no English. His wife does ( a little) and the young children made the place more relaxed and liveable, to my mind. So on return with the motor(as they are called in Indonesia) I stayed another two nights, they offered me a...

ke hotel ini pas libur lebaran kemarin, nginep semaleman karena destinasi selanjutnya mau main di kota bandung. dan hotel ini cukup bagus buat dijadiin persinggahan. ngambil kamar superior waktu itu. pas sampe lokasi liat model hotelnya langsung jatuh hati. lucu ky kos-kosan bertingkat. pas dateng agak bingung officenya dimana, dan pas lg parkir motor untung disamperin...

The staff were very friendly, the cleaner seemed busy and while some of the furniture was clearly old and slightly shabby, it was very clean. Hot water was a bit scarce, It seemed to be first awake gets the warm shower and if you wanted a nice shower in the evening after a day sweating in the Indonesian heat, you'd have to make do with a shower that knocks the breath ...

The inn has a reasonable price. However, I think this inn is not suitable for family with children because The corridor are small and you have to use stairs to go to next floor. Beside, You have to park your vehicle on the road in front of the inn. Overall, I think if you only travel with your partner, this inn is a good choice.

Wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful for a good nights' sleep close to the train station, and this place was perfect for that. The facilities are clean and the beds comfy with plenty of privacy in the 'pods' and the bathrooms. The receptionist was very helpful in booking a grab car for me the next morning and the hotel is very close to a mall with food stalls and movie ...

Good value for budget capsule hotel, great location about 10 min walk from Bandung train station, room is clean & huge king sized bed, love the different colors lighting in the room depending on your mood, only thing I find a little bit annoying is the noise some guests were making during late night. Overall, happy with my stay & would stay here again if I come back to...

Very very small room without view. Located in small aisle among the crowdness of Bandung town. Walking distance to Pasar Baru. Almost 1km, need to pass through morning market and school. Overall just ok for one night stay, just to get some rest before start our shopping spree. No towel or amenities provided, can be requested but you need to pay for every request.

I was staying only for the night to take a sleep for awhile before going back to Jkt. First impression was staffs are very friendly and welcome. They even offer me to the livingroom to have some tea and snacks. At first I was hesitant to take a bath, since it was a cold night. But when I saw that the shared bathroom was extremely clean, and the hot water was working, ...

Is a very nice stay, the staffs are nice. They give us a warm welcome and every morning they will bring us the breakfast even your room at the highest level. Beside, although it just a simple breakfast, but u can feel that they are really do it full of heart. And at these 3 nights stay, I get one local style Nasi Goreng as my breakfast is really tasty. And every floor ...

Everything is good, so cheap, even so cheap they still provide breakfast, and very comfortable bed, but the location quick noisy because the hotel at T junction of main road, and the share bathroom to small..i dont mind to share but too small..still worth it..

We book 2 room for 2 days .And we extend for another 5 days! The room is very large and perfect for vacation in Bandung, where we only stay for good rest and sleep. Room 201- Executives Plus (with water cooker and fridge) Room 205- Executive (1 queen bed) Room 202- Family Room (1 single bed & 1 queen bed) The only problem is the internet is not working, but we don't...

I was stay here for 12 days. The location was very hard to find because it located inside the peoples house area. The only best things from this hostel is the staff. Two guys stay in the hotel was so friendly and helpful. They can make you tea or coffee in the middle of the night. In the morning, they can ironing your clothes. All that stuff is just for free. Amazing! ...

The price is cheap, the staff really helpful and they all kind, the location really easy to find, everyone know this place. Hot water can access in anytime, so don't need to worry. the room is great. The Air Conditioner work well. Going to stay here again if I visit Bandung again.

Location is great. Middle of the city, lots of place to eat around, near to everything i can think of. Price is great for that location. Bed and pillows are nice. The place is clean, but not shiny clean. Small leaks in bathroom. The shower is either too hot or too cold. The elevator is only up to 3rd floor, while my room is in 4th. The staff didn't shown me my room. Bu...

The toilet is nice but the orientation of the furniture in the room makes the room feel claustrophobic, compared to the other Reddoorz hotel I been to,such as Riau,Watsukencana,Paskal Hyper Square,Isola. The wifi shut off for me around midnight and was down for the following morning. The hotel is also within close vicinity to a traditional mosque which does loud prayer...

stayed for 3 nights in this guesthouse, thru booking.com, booked for Family Room that consist of 2 double beds with private bathroom, AC & TV inside. the bedsheets, pillows and towels are clean and smell good. but it has only few rooms so you need to booked them about a month before getting there (especially in peak season) takes about 15min walk from Bandung Train S...

when I came to this hotel, the room that I book online was full, then the staff place us to the nicer type of room.. that was nice.. the bathroom was so spacious. I think this place was in the middle of the town. This hotel was at the same place as a restaurant named Hollycow.. if you are craving some steak, you can eat it there. the staff were good too...

Stayed at Galeri Ciumbuleuit for 4 nights & absolutely in love with the hotel. It is away from the busy traffic of Bandung, has super tight security (guards will check every vehicles' trunks and under the vehicles as well) & attentive staffs. Booked the Junior Suite & got the 20th floor with balcony & thankfully not the room facing the construction. Comes with a li...

I was looking for a quiet place to stay, to get rid of city crowds, to finish some kind of writing project in Bandung. I strolled around few webs and then found this place. I decided to place a booking of 3D2N since it offered good rates. And, so here's my review. Planning to get rid of crowds? This place will fit you. Totally distant from tourist spots. But, you need...

I made a booking for the Deluxe Room for 2 nights here which includes breakfast as I got it on a well promotional rate. The large room with relaxing sofa’s and comfortable bed was way too good. After some research and reading up the good reviews of this place. The room service of this hotel is above excellent when I arrived here. The rooms were extremely clean. This h...

Easily one of the best hotel in Bandung. Fuss free from the start they welcome us at the airport, room was ready for us when we arrived. Breakfast was great in my opinion. Makes us feel bad that we didn't tip them enough but in all honesty we ran out of cash quickly, shopping at the outlets. Really great stay.

We booked a few rooms as we were going as a large family, and had a great overall experience. Rooms were nicely furnished, had everything we needed and service was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and quick, and we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located in an area with lots of street food and restaurants (I recommend the grilled banana at a kiosk opposite the hot...

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. We traveled in a group of friends looking for a fun short vacation in Bandung. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Although the bathroom does not have bathtub in it, but the size especially the shower area is quite huge. We had a room with pool view and from our balcony in the 15th floor, we can also see the city of ...

Arion Swiss Bel Hotel Bandung is an excellent hotel if you want to stay long in Bandung. The room is nice and its amenities are great. The hotel is well located near Pasar Baru, where you can buy a lot of cheap and g...

My favorite hotel in Bandung!! it takes longer for us to arrive at the hotel since the road around the hotel is under maintenance, the hotel façade is so catchy.. it looks like an old ranch in Europe, inside.. its even better!!! the lobby had a fire place and every corner is a perfect photo spot for instagram, the lobby had a terrace facing a lush garden landscape wi...

This is my fave hotel in bandung. I was here for hnmm... the 5th time? We mostly booked the 2nd bed room suite for family of 4. The room is spacious, and they provide microwave. My kids love their warm water whirlpool Beside the hotel, you can buy lunch and dinner in warung inul. They sell tasty Sundanese food with very affordable price.

Its a pretty new hotel in Bandung. Was named H Clarity before, and recently they had management change. Building is new, amenity was good and clean, but I had small problem with the water bidet, the flow was so small. Has always been of my family’s favourite hotel to stay in Bandung ever since I lived in the city during university years. Rooms at the Towers, in particular, are comfortable & stylish. It was really really good. As mentioned, hospitality was unmatched by any other hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel staff went to the best of their ability to tend to our needs. I already try to stay in saveral hotels in Bandung. But, Aryaduta Hotel is the best hotel I ever stay in Bandung. Room was spacious, food is delicious. Clean. Strategic area. Walk away in the city. I have to admit this is the first time i use Agoda Homes service and i am glad that i chose the unit. What made me choosing it is simply because of the interior design by the owner and color combination that excite me during booking. Jardin Apartment has prime location which is very near to Ciwalk and you can order Grab at the guard lobby to go anywhere in Bandung city...

Well, since I spent my college years in this city, I formed a special bond with Bandung. All I can say is that: be considerate.
Bandung nowdays is becoming populated areas. Need to have more city attraction beside malls, gardens.
Known as "Parijs van Java" in the Netherlands-Indisch period, Bandung is famous for its old buildings, clothes (factory outlet) shops, many kind of restaurants, and the nature sight seeing in the north of Bandung (Lembang area).
Although Bandung gets quite crowded and has a lot of traffic, its one of the cities I prefer to visit because of the cooler weather.
It is a great country with beautiful volcanoes except for massive traffic jams. Cheap and nice massages around Bandung City Centre.
A place where commercialism has yet to happen rapidly. It is fascinating in its own original way and many mountains for trekkers.
It was my first trip and there are so much things to buy as is it very cheap. Must know how to bargain.
Bandung is an interesting place to visit, except that now is also becoming a very traffic jam city. so to make your visit efficient, you have to plan which area would you like to visit first, the city ( culinary, factory outlets, malls, trans studio Bandung , market, museum etc) or Lembang area ( culinary, outdoor activities, nature, relaxing etc ) so you can choose the hotel near the area.
Great place if you are on the lookout for clothes bargains. This place has a heap of factory outlets that will net you some great bargains.
It is just a short 2 hour drive from jakarta, so it is a nice destination if you got bored with jakarta.
It is a nice place to relax as the weather is cool especially in lembang and dago highlands. It is not too far from jakarta so it is just a short 2 hours drive.
Bandung...the city of culture and nature.... You will need more days to reach out all beauty of Bandung
Many places to visit but very crowded during holidays and weekend. bether go here during weekdays to enjoy the city
My advice: don't come to Bandung for the shopping. Come for the volcanoes, the tea plantations of Cimahi, and the hot springs.
For me personally, i prefer to stay in ciweday than in bandung city, because eather bandung city or lembang now is so hectic city, traffic jam every where, to many travellers.
Busy Street. Jam everywhere. Avoid fri and sat as jam getting slow. Visit Pasar Baru as there many thing to buy.
Bandung has good sight seeing place, nice food and not very expensive hotels :) ... great for weekend (spend about 1 - 2 days)
firstly, the airport needs to be improve especially the area for baggages and custom clearance. It is too small.
Lots of great culinary place, you can search on google to seek for culinary place, lots of entertainmet, trans studio, ciater hot spring, teropong boscha, etc
The main attraction would be the volcano which is abt 3 hrs drive from the city centre. You would need to get a driver and car which cost 700,000 rupiah not inclusive of entrance fees to the volcano area.
Travelers should visit the floating market lembang. It's interesting with the way they prepare and sell the food on a small boat (called sampan).
Nice historical city & good place for sightseeing. Plenty of factory outlets that offers good bargain for branded items.
We liked the weather very much. It is cool and comfortable for any types of activities be it sightseeing or shopping.

The people in Bandung are friendly. Public transport is easy to get. But have to proper plan to avoid traffic jam.
