Absolutely fantastic for a relaxing getaway in Bangkok”

The Chann Bangkok-Noi is a delightful find in a busy city. If you are done with all the running around and want to relax, this is the ideal place, a beautiful traditional Thai style boutique resort on the river. Staying here can take you back to a time when the pace of life in Bangkok was much slower. Spend a day relaxing in the swing chair or reading a book by the canal while feeling a cool breeze in the air & listening to the sounds of the boats motor going by in the background. If you are adventurous, you can find some of the freshest papaya salad or tasty fried rice from the near-by street food vendors. I stayed here for 3 nights and was very sad to have to leave such an amazing escape and return to the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were absolutely wonderful in making sure I was well taken care of & the breakfast was perfect for me as I like eggs and toast with coffee. Additional items are available. Long-tail boats are also available to easily travel around.

Relaxing charming place very close to the busy Bangkok”

The hotel is very charming, warm and cosy. The room was quite big and our little boy had a good sleep on the sofa bed Materials are nice and create a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly, very arranging, they re-opened the restaurant at 9.30 pm for us to eat something before going to sleep. The hotel is really hidden, even the taxi are not aware how to go but the staff have papers with explanations in thai. the safety guard come to help you pick up the bagages as you need to finish walking to reach the hotel. The hotel is located 15 to 20 minutes walk to the Grand palace bangkok on the other side of the river. 15 min walk for restaurants and food market in Siam area. We had a ride with the company Bangkok by bike, located 10 min walking distance, in the hidden paths of Bagkok, - nothing to do with the hotel but highly recommended

Chann is definitely a place to visit either for dining or staying. It shows Bangkok from another perspective that has a proper mix of modern and contemporary life style. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

Incredible boutique hotel on the river”

If you're looking for a generic 5 star luxury experience devoid of culture and style, this is not your place. The CHANN boutique hotel is a beautiful respite in a quiet authentic neighborhood in close proximity to the main tourist sites. Exceeded all of our expectations. You should know that it is very much in a locals neighborhood, with all its colors, flavors, sounds and trash (which we loved). But once you walk onto the property it is luxury and style (even the music was great). Very well done, highly recommended for the off the beaten track traveler. I hope the area stays quiet and authentic and not overrun.

One of the best places we've ever stayed”

We loved our one night stay at Chann. The hotel and its attention to detail are incredible. Our room was beautiful and the location on the river is amazing. We loved sitting on our balcony just watching the boats go by. It's a little off the beaten path, which was ok with us because it was so peaceful, and it was easy to walk to the nearby pier and jump on a water taxi to get across the river. The staff were always available and helpful, including calling us a cab to get to the airport. We wish we had more time to stay here and would come back again in a heartbeat!

It was a beautiful hotel with very low density. Nice architectural and interior fittings & accessories, friendly & helpful staffs. But Chann hotel doesn't have a friendly lobby access, and not easy access to convenient shop. We don't mind to walk pass the backyard to hotel; but our concern is customer with big luggage or during raining season, its totally not customer friendly. Hotel is totally out of the busy street, good for those who like quiet & cozy. I'll suggest the hotel to have a small gym facing the river that will be great.

Top 5 Hotels Worldwide”

CHANN has set the bar high for future hotels for me. Everything was excellent. The location is right on the river with lots of boat activity to watch and just a few blocks from the Royal Barge Museum. The food was great and I can't say enough about the staff. They were extremely helpful with all questions we had and even helped us plan our day's activities. The attention to detail on the part of the staff and the decor is impeccable. Again, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!

A hotel where I would like to visit again”

Last summer I visited the friendly and smiling broadly are still here, I remember this. Bangkok travel on the last day wanted to feel comfortable in the best place I visited. There are many good hotel in Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand, like, but this in that they can make you feel that there's no place. It's a little difficult to find but worth to visit enough.

Well-recommended hotel for relaxing”

Well recommend if you're looking for stay riverside hotel with reasonable price and full of standard facilities. There're might be some noise from boats during the day but it's normal if you stay riverside. Anyway, it could be better and feel more comfortable if hotel can transfer guests by boat since the nearby village before accessing the hotel get us feel insecure and unpleasant.

Great view, excellent service but a bit hard to find.”

We stayed in 2 superior studio rooms. On arrival, we reached there almost 10 pm. The hotel signages were too small to be noticed. The alley to the hotel was not accessible by car and something scary. However, as soon as we stepped the hotel entrance, everything was almost perfect, with only one exception. We need one more mirror in the room. The whole stay was great: great staff, great service, quiet place despite the village around, located on the riverside that we can enjoy the scenery anytime, great breakfast. We love this place.

Good sleep”

This is my 2nd visit at Chann and still love the Deluxe Room because it's locate on 2nd floor so you can get a beautiful breeze. They got my heart with their turn down service with jasmine flower that caused me get a wonderful sleep. Just only foods taste might be changed from the first time rather than that I will absolute visit again.

River breeze + refined local Thai house”

Great experience even for locals ! The place is not so convenient to reach ( we had to park at the public parking of a nearby temple and walked through narrow alley around 200 meters ) but I would say it’s worth the effort. The buildings are all wooden at the river bank , awesome lobby area. Our studio is on second floor with a small balcony to sit and enjoy the view over to Chaopraya. Very practical layout in the room and bathroom, very clean. Mattress and pillows are not my preference , find it uncomfortable. Dinner at their IMM restaurant , sitting by the river - great food and atmosphere. Breakfast also served here , with regular brew coffee and ok food. This is a great place for anyone who wants to get lost and enjoy breezy river of Bangkok . Better service may upgrade this experience though

A different side of Bangkok”

Life along the river is quite different from the hustle and bustle of inner city Bangkok. This is a hidden gem for those who appreciate the older side of Bangkok. Staff members are excellent.

Schönes guesthouse mitten in den klongs ”

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Haus und das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage am Wasser ist schon exklusiv aber um erstmal dort hin zu kommen muss Man ca 300.meter mitten durchs ghetto von bangkok laufen da taxi oder tuk tuk nicht bis ans haus fahren können. Meine frau selber thai hat sich Abends nicht mehr rausgetraut um Essen oder etc. Zu kaufen. Trotzdem würde ich es jedem empfehlen das es wirklich schön und mal was anderes wie die 5 Sterne betonbunker ist

Unique off the grid hotel experience”

Service provide by all staff was on par with the best hotels in Hong Kong. They did so much to make me comfortable and enjoy my stay. I loved the room, decor, river view and how well the housekeeping staff took care of me and did the best job ever making my room comfortable. They all genuinely wanted me to enjoy my stay. In fact I had just returned at 3 PM and the front desk called to let me know they were serving tea - outstanding service and delicious tea. The view of the river is peaceful and part of the experience. Important Note: the location is not curbside to easy in and out taxi service. Getting to the hotel involves a walk through a neighborhood and a good sense of direction. The staff do all possible to mitigate this aspect, and many people stay there just because of the feeling of remoteness. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stay with the view of the river ”

Pros 20 minutes grab/taxi to grand palace, wat pho, Khao San Road Service is amazing Rooms are big! Clean and nicely decorated View of the river Peace and quiet stay, away from the craziness. Cons Basic breakfast The hotel is tucked in within local residence, the way in and out of the hotel specially at night might not be ideal for solo female travelers or couples with kids. Don’t be put off, it’s very safe and just call the hotel, to get the guard to fetch you from the main road or to accompany you on the way out.

Wonderful and peaceful boutique hotel”

This is a beautiful and peaceful boutique hotel in the middle of a burstling big city. Located by the river. We found being at the 'other side of the river' not to be an inconvenient but rather an advantage, as you are at a quieter and more genuine quarter but still at walking distance from the main tourist spots, such as the Great Palace (25 min walking). The river can be easily crossed by foot using the bridge which is next to the hotel or by ferry. The design and decoration of the hotel is superb., the staff is very kind and helpful, the evenings at the terrace are delicious, and the food at their restaurant is great. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place that provides all the services you need with increadible good taste.

Hidden gem in Bangkok and also hidden location. Bed is really comfortable. Slept through the night easily. It is a wooden architecture therefore it’s not sound proof, by being near the river, the boat sound can be very loud in the day time. Boats get lesser by 6pm. The food is very good as well.

Staycation to Experiencing Life By The River”

Excellent place, quaint, very well built and located perfectly to experience day to life of Bangkokians that live by the river. The all wooden architecture & boutique furniture & decor creates an amazing warm & cosy feeling. The entrance is a bit off the beaten track, but the staff will help you get there very easily. Catch a grab to any of the nearby boat piers and u will have the full on tourist/local experience of everything to see along the Chao Phraya river. They have a very delicious menu from their in-house IMM restaurant. The only downside to this venue is they could probably provide a hotel boat that drops their guests to the nearest pier, that would complete the WHOLE river experience.

Very charming boutique hotel by the river”

Highly recommend for everyone that want to change atmosphere staying by the river in BKK! The property access is quite hard to find and very local way to get in there, but there is no problem. We have got free room upgraded from superior to deluxe river view and staff didn't even tell us! Very super and prompt service for staff to serve you. The room is like a dream, so beautiful & spacious! The bed, bedsheet,pillow , blanket have super quality like 5 stars hotel, very soft & comfortable, sleeping so great! The design of hotel by the river is so beautiful! Only thing is the room is not included breakfast, the food here is really expensive (but tasty though). There is nothing you can find place to eat nearby, you need to take taxi and go out quite takes time to find things to eat. But we do love this place!
