I would definitely return to this hotel next time I"m in Tainan. Love everything this hotel has to offer, especially the breakfast. Included breakfast is so delicious and that would probably be the sole reason for my return. The room is very clean and provides all the vanities and glasses/cups for our late night drinks. Definitely recommend!

Best night in taiwan”
The staff are all very friendly and warm hearted. One of the staff took the effort to help me book a body massage, and even called a cab for me. The room feels bigger than expected, enough space for luggage to be opened, yet feels very cosy. I would definitely stay here again. The only con is that it is not very walkable to the rail station with luggage, but the good thing is that it is cheap and easy to get a cab to and fro hotel. However for its price, cleanliness and everything else, I would definitely still stay here again when I am back in Tainan.

we book the large room with a separate sofa zoom, space is very comfortable and clean. We like it a lot, will recommend and book again. if we have to say, the only two downsides are : 1. only 1 elevator, so sometimes it’s a long wait; 2. small flying bugs problem should be solved to improve the sanitation.

Great staff and comfortable hotel in Tainan!”
Hotel is a short walk from Tainan station (about 10-15mins on foot) so for those with heavy baggage, might want to consider to take a cab from the station as there steps on the walkways on the way to the hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful and goes the extra mile to answer your questions and requests. Huge kudos to the team there. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was also strong (about 10-30Mbps when I tested) which was more than good enough for streaming and work. Some things to note are: 1) There's only 1 lift, and it's pretty slow. So waiting time for the lift might be long sometime. 2) There're no washing machines and the closest one is a coin laundry shop that's about a 5-7mins walk away on foot. 3) They do have iron and ironing board for rental, you just need to ask the friendly counter staff for them and they'd be more than happy to help you get one. Overall, a strong recommend for those who might want to find an accommodation that's reasonably close to Tainan station!

The location is central and while the room is not huge, it is enough for a couple or a solo business traveler. The free breakfast offered was of decent quality and the shower was comfortable to use with good water pressure. I would consider staying here again.

Beautifully decorated hotel but not functional or user friendly”
My family and parents stayed 2 nights separately in 2 quadruple rooms and faced many inconveniences. Beneath a pretty veneer (the hotel and rooms were artistically decorated) lies a few flaws that made our stay unpleasant. There is only a small lift that required individual room key cards to access specific floors. We had trouble visiting our parents which were housed on another floor from ours. We were also given only 2 cards that were shared among our family of 3, thus making individual movements into and out of our hotel room inconvenient. While we requested for an extra key, we were told this was not possible by staff who tried but failed in the quest. When we checked out, there was a long delay waiting for the only lift with many guests trying to secure a lift space which concurrently serves the restaurant that serves breakfast. The layout of the room was also not practical. The shower room was next to the sink area which was totally exposed to the room with no walls. As there were absolutely no provisions for hanging towels or cloth in the shower room, one has to come out of the wet shower room to dry oneself in full view of everyone in the room. While the sink counter doubled up as a table, it was constantly wet and not user friendly for other usage such as coffee/snack corner. I constantly dried up the area with a self brought tea towel so the counter could be used for other purposes. There were also insufficient storage space, hangers, provisions for luggages etc in the room. The housekeeping dept had left out drinking water, toiletries etc from our room and we had to wait a long time for these to be replenished due to staff shortage, enduring thirst from a long journey upon arrival. The day curtains were obviously not cleaned with many balls of dusts visibly trapped on its surface. In short, ChangYue was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed among many others but it failed to deliver. The thought and emphasis that goes into its interior de
