Fabulous hotel”

I have been to Thailand nearly a dozen times and my stay at Chang Buri was the best experience so far. We were greeted with a cool drink at reception and checked in quickly and efficiently. Our beautiful room was the deluxe seaside with breakfast situated in a two storey building. Very nice layout with a lovely chaise lounge in the box window which overlooked the villas, the smaller pool area and had views of the ocean through the trees. The room had a small balcony with two cane chairs which also shared the view. The room looked exactly like the promo pictures. I liked the bathroom which seemed part of the whole room making it feel larger. It was separated from the bedroom by clear glass panels, but also had sliding opaque doors if you wanted a bit more privacy. Large mirror above a sink with a power point nearby. Hairdryer. Good lighting above the mirror. Tea and coffee making facilities. Free bottles of water every day. Room safe. The room was made up every day with beautiful towel art and flowers scattered on our bed. The grounds and infinity pool were exceptionally maintained. Views out towards the ocean. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas available by the pool and sea. Access to the sea is via a slope of shallow steps. Small cafe/restaurant for lunch/drinks/snacks just in front of the pool and prior to the ocean deck. Breakfast was quite varied with many choices, to suit the tastes of different guests. Hotel location was ideal for us. Just at the south end of White Sands Beach which is the main touristy beach. It is a very long stretch of white sand with plenty of beach cafes and restaurants. There is no real access to WSB via the beach from Chang Buri unless you swam, however a very short 5 minute walk to beach access and all the street stalls, shops, restaurants and cafes. Perfect if you want to be a little out of it but still really close. We were very happy with our stay here and plan to do it all again next year.

Really nice stay”

We stayed at the Chang Buri hillside and had a superior room that was at swimming pool level and had a sun lounger and chairs in the patio at back of our room. Despite white sands beach being a pretty busy resort, it felt calm here even when going over the road to the seaside operation. Staff very friendly and efficient and pools were great. Breakfast choice was fine and pretty decent. This hotel is at the southern end of the white sands resort area and just a little out of the main busy central part of the resort which totally suited us. The seaside part of Chang Buri has stone steps leading into the sea which are very slippery ( I nearly fell down then on the algae on the steps where the waves lap up) and you have to navigate stones in the water but after a few yards it is sand when waist to shoulder depth and swimming is fine there. You can always walk into the central part where the beach is sand. There is a 7-11 next door if you need snacks and extra water.

we reach the chang buri resort n spa at 10pm as the distance is quite far from bkk airport to trad province. but when we come the rec. girl very friendly n make it easy as well as quickly for us to check in, also a man come wit well come drink, not too excellence but ok for ppl who tired at that time like us. the room has satisfy out request (for a honeymoon room). the buffet bf here also very nice n have everything we need, all the staff is always smile n friendly talking with us, the guy in booking tour desk also help us to choose the nice "4 isand tour" from bang bao fishing village n also the elephant riding in jungle :d from this hotel we also can find many nice restaurant n the public way to go to the white sand beach. seriously i cant find any fault with this hotel. if have the rate of 10, i will give them that :)

Nice hotel, nice location, nice room”

Spend 3 days in Koh Chang staying with Chang Buri Resort & Spa, the hotel located right in the middle of White sand beach which makes it a prefect place to stay at and its nice and clean, the beach is right across the street from the hotel, 5mins walk. Great breakfast in the morning, shops and bars and restaurants are next door. Staff are amazingly nice and helpful!

Great place to stay”

This is our second stay at the Chang Buri Resort and we were as happy with our stay as the first time. Just love this place. We stayed in a seaside room in the low storey building overlooking the resort and with glimpses of the ocean through the trees. Staff were attentive and great as always. Particularly happy with the cleanliness of the room and the special 'towel art' we looked forward to seeing on our return from breakfast. The pool and beach access area are beautiful with colourful sunsets just about every night. Very hard to fault. If we decide to go to Koh Chang again, I think we'd be hard pushed to find a place anywhere as nice.

Great hotel with good location”

We had a good time in chang Buri Resort!It locates in the heart of white sand beach, which you can find anything you want. 7-11, moto rental, boating info. and quiet at night. For couple is good. if you looking for more hippi style, we suggest to live near lonely beach. But since we rent our own moto, everywhere is not too far. So for whoever wants to stay in WS beach, we will recommend this resort!

Great clean hotel lovely friendly staff”

Had a great stay a Chang buri , lovely clean well maintained hotel with friendly staff . Breakfast was ok but for the price you can't expect more. Lots of cheap restaurants near by , if your happy eating Thai food. We paid the off season price and I'm not sure I would think it was great value in peak season. All in all if you are planning to visit white sand beach I can recommend Chang Buri . A great Place to just relax by the pool and eat lots of Thai food , which is exactly what we came for.

Lovely place to stay”

This is the second time we have stayed at the Chang Buri Hotel. We like this hotel because it has an excellent location. It is a couple of minutes away from the centre of White Sands. There are plenty of good restaurants, as well as a variety of street food. We ate a couple of nights from the street traders and thoroughly enjoyed the local produce. It was very cheap. The hotel is divided into 2 by the main road. The accommodation by the sea has better views than the rooms on the other side of the road. However, we stayed in the hillside accommodation and found the rooms spacious and clean. The room has a fridge with complimentary toiletries and water, tea and coffee making facilities and the rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfasts are good, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from.

Perfect location and wonderful place to stay ”

it was a wonderful time to stay in chang buri where you can enjoy the sea view and the beaches. it was located in the centre part of koh chang and many deldious food nearby. you can check on the seafood restaurants and other cuisine just next to the hotel - a large varieties of option. only 10 minutes walk, you will reach the beautiful white sand beach where you can enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful water. you can enjoy the spa in the hotel which all kind of massage are offered - very refreshing. i tried both body and foot massage and it was wonderful. i had sweet dreams everynight when i slept on the king size bed - it was too good that i even think of stealing it away. the lobby is decorated in a very peacful way and you can relax though you were just sitting on the sofa.

Great Location and Good Services Hotel”

chang buri resort and spa hotel is located on sai khao beach, it is the nearest beautiful beach if come from ao thammachat pier. the hotel is big and has two sides included hillside and seaside. i stayed at hillside, it is very nice scene in the morning and the room is so big enough for two persons. the most attractive thing was the good quality of breakfast.

Marvelous ”

Chang Buri Resort& Spa was my great choice! It is a quiet and clean place, even though it is easy to access good restaurants and white sand beach.

chang buri resort and spa is a good hotel with friendly staff. the hotel is located on the south part of the white sand beach, the biggest one on the westcoust of koh chang. you have a big seven eleven opposit of the hotel and that is also good. my whole family was pleased with this hotel. we stay three nights. we will come back.

Exceptional”

We thought that going in the low season would be problematic. Not so! Somehow the island of Koh Chang has made an arrangement with the weather gods. It only rained between midnite and 6AM. Chang Buri Resort was very nice and seemed like their service and amenities did not rely on high or low season. heir breakfast buffet was much better than average.

Excellent facilities that enhanced our stay no end”

This resort is a beautiful oasis located just off the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Split across the road, as most of the resorts on white sands beach are, there are two separate swimming pools which are both delightful. As it was the start of low season the rooms were at reduced rates, and we were almost the only guests there. Whilst this did mean that breakfast wasn't a complete buffet everyday, it meant we could order from the waiters and the food was cooked fresh. A better option in our opinion. The layout of the private villas is in a peaceful and serene location, and the pool nearest the beach is lovely. The resort is located within walking distance to all amenities, and we would thoroughly recommend this resort to anyone.

Great hotel and a great price”

we had a great stay at the chang buri resort. first we just booked three nights but we ended up staying more than a week. the staff is really friendly, the restaurant has good and big meals, the pools are really clean. we stayed at the hillside and compared to other hotels on wsb it was great value! a special thanks to the girl from cambodja who cleaned our room and suprised us with one fantastic towel-creation after the other every morning! if we come back we would definitely stay here again!

A Great Place to Stay in the White Sand Beach Area”

My wife and I have stayed at Chang Buri three times now. We've been impressed by the quality of the staff every time - they're the most friendly and courteous staff we've ever encountered at this price level. The breakfasts are always great, featuring a wide selection of well prepared foods & beverages (we even had the pleasure of eating fresh salmon lox on one occasion!). We strongly recommend Chang Buri if you're looking for a clean & well-managed hotel and a pleasant experience in general.

Excelent hotel”

it was one of the best places i have ever stayed. big room with it's own balcony, view to swimming pool. staff was very friendly, every day we found different figures made with towels and flowers. breakfasts was very good, at the second floor in very big dinnng-room. hotel situated very good - there is 7/11 and a lots of restaurants near (and also go go bars). it has its own parking for bikes. it doesn't have its own beach, but we were using excelent beach of the hotel at the opposite side of the road - the same chang buri, but 5 stars. no russians and chinese:)

Superb hotell located on White Sand Beach.”

the hotell was a really nice suprise after a long journey from bangkok. the room was big, clean and had a nice big balcony for relaxing after a day on the pool/beach. the hotell is two buildings, one with the main reception and with mounting sights a pool with bar etc. the second one two minutes over the road and was called the beach side and hade an even nice pool next to the beach. the staff on both side was really friendly and helpful when we asked questions or needed help with directions around the island. the location of the hotell is perfect and it only took us a few minutes to walk to really good restaurangs and shopping. breakfirst was included and very nice. they also have free wifi that was frequnently used when i needed to work. we definitly come back to stay on this hotell if we travel to koh chang again.

Great Value”

Chang Buri was a great value. The food was good, the staff attention was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, but could use a little updating in the rooms and the bathrooms. The location of the resort was fantastic-it was close to the nightlife while being far enough away to be quiet at night. The hotel has two beautiful pools and is oceanside, but the drawback is that there is no direct access to beach. There are stairs leading down to the water, but it's fairly rocky. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel by sea”

Spatious room with modern design,with balcony and enough luxury.We stayed at the seaside part of the hotel. The hotel very closed to restaurants and shopping with a private beach, offers also very good massage and spa services (maybe the best at white sand area).Minor detail is the poor selection on tv program. Over all a very good hotel, I would definetely go again when in Koh Chang.
