Had a good stay.. Romantic looking rooms”

I had a very good 3D2N stay here with my fiancee in Chanalai Romantica Resort, Kata, Phuket. Beautiful Kata beach is just 5 mins walking distance and plenty of restaurants nearby. Bike rental in Kata is cheap about 200 baht per day, and its about 15 mins ride to patong. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples because the rooms are designed for couples. Very spacious, clean and romantic looking room with balcony. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Good job. Will come again to this hotel if im coming with my partner.

Best value for money in Kata”

This is our 2nd visit to Chanalai Romantica - and it once again, hasn't disappointed us. Arriving in our room, we were greeted by a message printed out in leaves on our desk "Welcome Back". Small touch, but made it feel really personalised. The staff are soooo friendly, and easy to communicate with. Always go the extra mile to help, and really make the stay at the resort relaxed and enjoyable. The rooms were done over since the last time we were here, and it only got better. Everything about it is comfortable, and just a welcome place to lay your head at the end of the day (or during the day for those mid day naps). I can't recommend Chanalai Romantica enough to my friends and family. This is the place to stay when in Phuket.

Value for money!”

I stayed Chanalai Romantica Resort with my parents. Pool was not big but enough to enjoy! Every room has 2 sunbeds, also there are enough sunbeds in poolside. Staffs are kind and helpful. They always try to help when I ask something. Breakfast was compact but very nice to enjoy. There are many famous massage shops, CVS, restaurants, juice bar and live bar near the resort. Also Kata beach is in walking distance. (I took 10mins) Highly Recommended! (Especially, Pool Access Room Type)

Short stay in Phuket”

We had a few nights at the Chanalai Romantica in Kata before moving to a resort in Karon. Great value for money, with such a cheap per night price. The rooms were large, with an open bathroom and the bed was large and comfortable. Great location close to the beach and the main strip in Kata. Breakfast was decent for a small hotel, however the gym was a bit disappointing. Didn't get to enjoy the pool but it did look quite appealing.

Actuall I'm staying at Chanalai Garden Resort. I'm booking at Agoda at Chanalai Romantic. When I check in at Chanalai Romantic, there tell me coz of children are not entitle for this Romantic resort. Luckily the front desk are very helpful to arrange for me to the sister hotel at Chanalai Garden Resort at the same price without paying anything. And all the front desk staff are really friendly especially Miss Kimberly and Miss Joy. There are event allow me to late check out till 3pm coz my flight delay. The resort are so convenient to any places and outside the resort are so many restoran and convenience shop around. Room is clean and also house keeping is really do their job when clean all the room. I'm so appreciate this resort and I'm sure I will come back again for my next visit in Phuket. The swimming pool is nice and clean (both swimming pool). I can say this is a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Resort. Here I would like to say thank you to all the staff in Romantic resort and Garden resort.

Amazing Experience ”

We stayed at Chanalai Romantica on our honeymoon and we were totally blown away with the hotel from the decor to the staff experience. Everything was 5 star. Especially the night manager who was the most helpful and friendly staff member who went out of his way to assist us. Even the happy honeymoon message in our room. This hotel is a gem in Kata.

really i dont understand why some people write so bad reviews for this nice hotel.. we stayed there before a week.. here is my review (we are a couple) = excellent location (5 min from beach and the same from restaurants, bars) = excellent value for money (28 euro including breakfast (low season)) = nice room amenities (has kettle,tea coffee amenities, erything for bath, umbrellla, sandals and anyway can make your stay comfortable ) = nice view and relax big chairs and big balcony from the room.. (all rooms see the pool) = big bed with many selection of pillows and always hot water = excellent big pool.. almost everyday we were alone = stuff always polite and with smile. = the breakfast was ok.. personally, i cant ask something more, in these money..selection of eggs, asian and europian breakfast. =. sizw of room was extra extra big and cleaned everyday *** the only problem (sure not for the hotel) is all the menu are not in english. and we felt very uncomfortable with this scenario in kata.. really unexceptable.. *** kata beach isnt so cheap in food and drink.. the better option and sure the most delicious is "kata karon seafood", about 400 meter in your right hand, as you exit hotel.. *** please buy from here beauty things all organic.. in patong you will not find so excellent shops in this style.. thanks one more time to this gorgeus hotel

Thai style room meets pool and ocean access.”

Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe pool access room. Older thai style décor, but very comfortable. Staff is very friendly, some speak "ok" English some do not. Has a very large, fresh water, non-heated pool, of course your in Thailand so I suspect most pools are not heated. Room mattress was soft, but remember traditional thai people grew up sleeping on floors, so they sleep on hard mattresses and a lot of hotels offer that type of mattress, so be sure to ask the hotel for a soft mattress in advance. Room service starts early in the morning, so be sure to hang your "Do Not Disturb" sign the night before if you don't want to be disturbed from your sleep. Local bus system runs every 1/2 hour in front of the hotel on Kata Road and costs 20 baht one-way to the next beach over from Kata, like Karon or Patong beach. We rented a Hondamatic motor bike for the four days we visited and costs 250 baht per day 24 hour rental. Helmets provided. We rented the motor bides from the BluEco Hotel our previous hotel were we stayed. We always ate outside and did not purchase hotel meals. Many street food venders outside the hotel and 7-Eleven has warmed up food ready to eat; spaghetti, chicken, local pastries, etc... Beach is an easy 5 minute walk or 2 minutes by motorbike. Beach lounge chair rental is 100 baht per person or 200 per couple for two chairs. Rip currents are on all beaches, please beware of lifeguard flags as where to swim. Overhead rain shower in shower, wife loved the bath to soak and relax. LCD TV didn't have a lot of channels to choose from, maybe around 25 or so. They rely on satellite dish. There is a DVD player in room as well if you have a movie or two. Overall nice stay, easy access to everything. Pool was so nice to dip in after a being hot. I would stay again. Tip: Time-share scammers riding motorbikes along Kata and other city roads will stop you point blank on the road and say "Hi" I have a great prize for you, all you have to do is take these

Awesome!”

We spent 3 nights here and loved it! We received a free room upgrade upon check in with pool access. Our room was beautiful, large and impressive! King size bed, large shower, two bottles of free water a day. It's a 5 minute, at most, walk to Kata beach. They provide beach towels and a beach mat. Great buffet breakfast with LOTS of choice for 200baht/person. Pool is refreshing and private from the pool access rooms. There is a swim up bar with reasonable priced drinks (for Phuket, more expensive than elsewhere in Thailand). Dianne, their customer service rep comes and talks to you at breakfast and makes sure everything is okay and answers any questions. She is really nice and helpful!!

Stayed for one night at Chanalai Romantica Kata Beach before heading to the islands. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean and large. Pool was nice for a swim as the ocean was to wavy to go in. Would stay again if I return to Kata Beach

A delightfully relaxing holiday”

Three other ladies and myself all stayed at the Tropical Resort in Kata Beach Phuket. We all found the staff lovely, the food very good, and there was a very friendly smaller hotel type feel about the accomodation. The rooms were quite soundproof...a good thing...we are all noisy people, and spacious and clean.

Perfect Getaway Hotel”

Hotel is just a stone throw away from the beach and a lot of food places along the streets. Hotel staffs are friendly,polite and helpful. Room view is perfect and they even decorate the bed for our anniversary. The room service forgot.to topup my complimentary coffee and tea,but just a phonecall and they brought it to me. Could not find the bathrobe in the room but did not ask for it though. The hotel.does not provide any newspaper. The best part is that it is an adult only hotel so you wont hear or see any kids screaming or running around! Dont get me wrong,i love kids! But a getaway without kids for a while is super recharged! More of this kind of hotel would be great! Overall a perfect hotel for us!

Very nice hotel and great location”

We stayed at the the Tropical Resort near Kata Beach and loved it. It is right near everything you need (beach, shops, restaurants). The room we stayed in was very nice. Had a large bathtub which we enjoyed on an evening to cool down. Also one of the tabs was not working on the sink and we called to reception to asked for it to be fixed. Somebody came and saw to it immediately and got it working swiftly. The pool is a good size and the staff are very friendly. Only quibble, the advert we saw said it was an adult only hotel. This is not true. There were children there. Not that I dislike children but when you think you are going somewhere quiet and then having screaming kids splashing in the pool, it can be annoying.

Great Hotel”

This hotel is really good, if you are planning on going to Kata beach to spend couple days, this is the perfect hotel. We loved the exterior and interior design, very cool. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The beach is pretty nice as well and only about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Make sure to get breakfast at the hotel as the prices in Kata are not as low as we thought they would be.

The only good thing about our stay in phuket”

We stayed at the Tropical Resort hotel for three nights. In general the hotel was lovely and amazing value for money. We paid a little bit extra for a pool access room and it was worth every penny! It was great to be able to step in and out of the pool from our private patio area and swim across to the pool bar for a drink! The rest of the hotel was nice. There was a small gym which had weights but no cardio equipment. The breakfast was good but i can't comment on the restaurant food as we didnt eat there. The staff were nice with the exception of the incredibly rude and unhelpful reception desk staff. The hotel has a central location in Kata and is 5-10 mins walk from the beach. For us, the hotel was the only good thing about our stay in Phuket - its like horrendous Thai version of Benidorm. However, if you like over priced bars with cheesy entertainment and rubbish restaurants with burger filled western menus and watered down thai food then Kata is the place for you.

Thoughtful interior design”

the front desk asked me to pay extra 1000tb per night, because my booking record is only for one adult. i told the front desk that the fees showed on the agoda were the same for one adult and two adults. the front desk agreed what i said. the hotel should charge for the room not number of adults. if agoda agreed to change the order record from one adult to two, the hotel will not ask for extra charge. both the front desk and i called agoda and agreed to change the order record. no extra charged to me.

Great Hotel in a nice part of Kata Beach”

We stayed at the Tropical Resort for one night. It was a great hotel in a nice part of Kata Beach. The room was amazing. It was very large with a nice bathtub, shower, and large balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beach is within a 5 minute walk but would be a lot quicker if Club Med hadnt bought up a rediculous amount of property, spanning pretty much the entire beach, which blocks any other hotels in the area from a view of the beach. Every other hotel, except on the south end, is set back about one block from the beach. This hotel is in a really good location though. The beach is really nice and wasnt overcrowded. I definitely would stay here again if we ever went back.

Great stay”

This must be the nicest room I ever stayed in. The illumination of the room was so beautiful that I got up at night to enjoy watching it. The swimming pool was just as beautiful. Breakfast was extensive and very good. And beautiful Kata beach is only a 5 minute walk. A motorbike will get you everywhere in Phuket.

Birthday getaway”

Our stay at the Chanalai Romantica was very pleasent. The room is very spacious and we stay in a pool access room which came in handy in the afternoon after a days worth of exploring to come back and slip into the pool right from our room. the pool bar was also nice to have.its not the most modern decor but as ive discovered in the Kata/Karon area the rooms are slighty dated but very spacious inclusive of the bathroom and bathtub. As i spent my birthday there, a staff member came to our room and gave me a fruit platter for my birthday which i thought was very nice. The location of the hotel was central to bars, restaurants,market stalls and the beach was a short stroll away. I would recommend this hotel if you are look for something affordable,central,comfortable and kid free. It was nice to not have the screams of kids in the pool waking us up in the morning. Wouldnt mind staying here again if ever we are in Phuket again.
