Super clean and quiet place ”

We went there for couple vacation. Booked Chalay Monta for 3 nights Suite Room. The room is very clean and good smell. But still have small bug flys inside the room from the balcony. The stuffs are very friendly. The Pancakes and Chicken Sanwiches of Room Service is very deliecious! From the beach you can walk there directly just only 200-300 m But walk quite far from the green taxi car. Great place for recommendations! Love this place. Looking forward to be here again soon!!

Very close to the beach, best for family”

Resort have no transportation services ,as we traveled by train so we had to took taxi to resort about 10 mins from train station to resort however there are many signs to guided you to the hotel. I love the location , we can walk 5 mins or only 100-200 meters to the beach and also just 5 mins to Family mart with 24 hrs service. This is awesome. Our room was Monta Executive Deluxe, there are a king size bed, drink bar, microwave and refrigerator very comfortable. Our bath room was very nice with jacuzzi and shower. We can sit in our balcony to watch the pool. Even our room in the 3rd fl, we can use glass elevator where you can see pool view. The price is too expensive when we compare with villa or other beach resort. If you have a time to plan your trip, you will get better resort with the same price.

Very nice”

I had an excellent stay at chalet monta there was a lovely pool with floating loungers it. Was quite a way from the hustle and bustle so relaxing ,the staff were very helpfully in all ways the room was lovely and clean the only thing was the lack of choice at breakfast , but this is because it is only a small hotel all in all I had an enjoyable stay

Nice hotel at the far side of Hua Hin town”

a nice hotel, comfortable beds, clean rooms and pleasant staff. certainly good value for money however the swimming pool doesn't trap the sun for too long during the day, not that this is too much a problem as the beach is within a few minutes walk and is a much nicer beach than the main beach in hua hin

Good hotel and good service”

A nice charming hotel, nice entre and good service, friendly personal. The room was nice, comfortable beds, good food and normal breakfast. The pool was nice and great with a nice balcony. Close to the beach, even if it's not a good one. 3-4km from Hua Hin city 200baht from hotel to the town.

good but expected better”

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Chalay Monta but expected more for this price. The hotel surroundings are very small and the restoraunt cannot seat all guests for breakfast. They also advertise the rooms as Jacuzzi rooms wich in my opinion is false advertising since there is no jacuzzi in the room. What they mean is the room connects to the normal swimming pool that has a few jetstreams. This is very misleading. The pool area is very private due to the hotel being pretty small wich we enjoyed. The rooms themselves are adequate but use twin beds (deluxe jacuzzi room) wich isn't really that nice for a couple.

New and comfortable hotel”

this is a new hotel, so many things are still "work in progress", particularly the staff and service. the room was quite spacious and the bathroom very modern. swimming pool area is relaxing especially if you have a "jacuzzi room" (which has swimming pool access). the location is quiet and far from downtown. you'll need a car if you want to see more of hua hin.

My first impression was the staffs. They're all very friendly and polite. I've been there during a blackout. They're all very helpful and answering all my questions politely. Eventhough, the resort is located in a small alley but all other pros overcome this cons. The room is very big and clean. I didn't try breakfast buffet cuz overslept. But will definitely come back for more good experience. Totally recommended!!! Worth your money!!

Nice, modern hotel, but a walk to the beach”

The hotel was nice, though the executive room was quite plain. Good space for a family. The beach is a few minutes walk, and beach chairs can be rented, along with good food, massage at good prices. The beach was a bit dirty though. The hotel is new and comfortable. Staff friendly and attentive. The pool is nice, but lacking any chairs. You can find a taxi for a short ride to Hua Hin near the beach, or the hotel can call one for you.

Great location for Takiab Beach and the local area has many good restaurants. Staff are good and very helpful. I will return soon.

Hotel Review”

We stayed for a night in a Thai Hip Deluxe room. The room was spacious. The hotel provided free mini-bar (snacks). We were happy with everything in the room, except the air-con in our room that didn't work so well. It didn't cool the room even we adjusted the temperature to 16 C. The breakfast, though not many selection, met our expectation. There were eggs, hams, bacons, sausages, soup, boiled rice, orange juices/fresh water and fruits. Overall, it's worth your money.

Good service ,making impression”

I had stayed at Hip style room for 2 nights, the room is beautiful with Modern Thai design decoration. All necessary equipments were provided promptly for guests. Hotel staffs was professional and had friendly smile all the time.

Small hotel nearby the beach”

Our 1-night stay at Executive deluxe room was fine. The room is large with smooth bedding sheets and wide bathroom with separate shower and tub. Snacks & drinks provided are included in the room rate with good breakfast. But since the hotel is small, there're limited parking lots and tables to dine for, not to mention that the pool is tiny & you need to bring your towels from room when going for swimming. Services are not for 24 hrs.-we called for extra pillows at around 8pm. but the staff at store left already so we couldn't get any. There should be some decorations like picture or something to make the room more attractive. It's too plain... Nice quiet beach is only 5-10 min. walk with white soft sand, water sport (banana boat) and fresh seafood restaurants at a reasonable price.

Poor maintenance, slow response from staff”

I booked two rooms at this hotel, one was monta deluxe which was next to the pool and thai hip family on second floor. Both rooms were large with big bathrooms. On arrival, I thought the place was really nice. However, on closer inspection, you can see that the maintenance was not good enough. For example, around the bottom and in corners of the shower boxes were black like they have never been cleaned thoroughly. The pool was also in need of a good cleaning. The service also left little to be desired. Although the staff were willing to help, they failed to get back to me on my inquiries and I had to go back to them to ask again. I had a request for early breakfasts for a couple of my family members who need to leave the hotel very early in the morning. One of the staff said she needed to check whether they could provide us breakfasts at 6 (their usual time is 6.30 - 10.00) and said she would phone me later. She never did. The same thing also happened at check out, leaving us waiting for nothing for 20 minutes. This is unprofessional and not acceptable.

Nice Place”

The staff were great, except for the car park attendant whom was rude! That is why I only gave you four stars instead of five! Good location near Takiap beach, Clean modern rooms and overall a decent place, I will stay again as the price is very fair.

Over Rated 4 stars”

The Monta Executive Family Suit only has 1 bedroom and only 1 toilet. The living room was converted to place in 2 single beds. Therefore, there is no privacy when travelling with 4 adults unless all are family members. The rate is too high for such accommodation.

Very Good”

We spent 3 night in this hotel located on the nice area and very close of the beach. We've got a misunderstanding during the booking because we travelled with our 2 children, but we found a very comprehensive manager and helpfull staf to fix it.

Clean and big room ,good accomodation”

Staff at car's parking is very nice. Room is very clean and comfortable. Good price and good quality. I like a swimming pool and lift. Those are good design.
