Aran Resort on a budget”

My 2nd stay in this beautiful resort-like property and my top choice. - The room is large & with a perfectly fine bathroom. - There were no mosquitos (since someone had mentioned them, but I wasn't in # 9) I walked to the train station from here in about 27 minutes (but I am a fast walker). You can walk into town in perhaps 20-25. That's the price you pay for staying in such a beautiful park/resort location. If you are not OK with doing some substantial walking, you may ask the front desk to call you transportation.
- On my 2nd stay, I had neighbors right next to me that were a bit too noisy at midnight but this can happen anywhere & isn't the property's fault.

Lovely place to stay”

Stayed here just 1 night to cross the border into Cambodia. Place was in walking distance from the train and bus station. Very nice grounds and the room was very large and comfortable. Good WiFi. Shops opposite including convenience store and fruit /veg.

Nice bungalow accomodation.”

Well laid out and quiet estate of mixed bunglows and houses. Easy parking and nice garden areas, the bungalows had nice planting around the terrace which we used as our eating area. I chose a room larger than a basic room which was half of a semi detached bungalow.
Because of covid we had to get take away food as aranyaprathet was closed down for social gatherings which included restaurants. This of course was not the fault of the providers.

Quiet (although main road nearby), big room, possible to sit in front of the house, parking possible next to the bungalow
Staff does not speak English (but using GTranslator, she managed tuktuk to the border), quite far from the city center, a bit hard bed
