Staying at this resort was the highlight of our vacation in the Philippines. We stayed in another resort on the main Island but it just didn't compare. Once we landed on the island we were in awe of how beautiful it was. The staff on the resort were the kindest and most helpful. We booked the private half day speedboat tour and the staff were the best! Our guide was also our personal photographer, and he even paddled our canoe for us in the big lagoon. And in one of the locations where there was snorkeling, our guide helped my husband who wasn't a swimmer to snorkel for the first time. We also went on a sunset cruise our last night at the resort and it was the perfect way to end our stay here. We noticed how well they took care of the property because we were the first ones to wake up every morning and they were always raking the sand and cleaning the pools when we were up for the sunrise. The spa is also great! So book yourself a massage if you get the chance. It was a very relaxing experience and you hear the waves during the massage. Also, all of the guests we met here were very nice. If you want to book a very relaxing vacation, with beautiful scenery and good customer service, I highly recommend this place!

Hidden gem in El Nido, this private island resort is mind blowing. The level of service, room design, food quality, everything was top notch. The Beach View Villa is great, only few steps away from the beach. They knew we were coming for our Honeymoon and prepared a beautiful decoration in the room for us. We stayed for 2 nights, they have a food and beverage all inclusive package which was perfect. Even if you do not drink much alcohol, they can prepare all kind of delicious mocktails for you. Food menu had a various selection, from European cuisine to Asian. Great flavors and perfect cuisson. Thank you to the culinary team. It would have been great to meet the chef to thank him directly. The beach is great and by snorkeling in front of the resort, you can see baby sharks, turtles, and even octopus if you are lucky! No need to go far. You can borrow all kind of equipment and even kayak for free. The team is exceptional. They offer great and warm services, tailored to your needs. The team members deserve recognition: JC, Liza, Raymond, Vincent at the restaurant, Red at the bar, the whole security team and the nurse when we had an issue with an ankle injury. We will be back.

This was our first visit to the El Nido area and we were looking for something peaceful and secluded. From the descriptions we could see that Cauayan offered privacy and a idyllic location. In these respects, it delivered exactly as promised. Walking out of the villa straight into the ocean in the morning helped make the experience. The island is fairly small but absolutely beautiful and quiet. You can travel to El Nido town for nightlife but we got exactly what we wanted staying on the island which is particularly well suited for couples. The spa was lovely and there are enough activity packages to keep you occupied if you want to get out and about. Day trips to nearby snorkeling spots were convenient and easy to get back and forth. Amenities were very nice and the restaurant had good variety in Filipino as well as other cuisines. Prices are definitely at a premium which I would say is acceptable given the setting and quality of the facilities. But what I was most impressed by and need to emphasize in this review are the people working at Cauayan. The attentiveness, warmth, friendliness, patience and genuine service culture that permeates this place is world-class. I could mention many examples but I think the best way to sum up the experience is to say that you feel well taken care of from the moment you start your journey to the island until you get back to El Nido. I really need to acknowledge Red working at the bar and Michelle who was just wonderful every meal we had with her taking care of us. The people really made this experience for us. A luxury resort that was absolutely worth it. Would absolutely stay again.

Our initial stay at the villa was so remarkable that we extended our visit with an additional night. The minimum of two nights is highly recommended to fully appreciate the splendor of this location. While both the beachfront villa and the lagoon villa offer exceptional experiences, the former seems overpriced at 40% higher than the latter. A price increase of 10-15% would seem more appropriate. Nonetheless, the resort is extraordinary, and our enjoyment was such that we are already planning our return. It appears particularly well-suited for couples. During our stay, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. Witnessing their warm interactions with the staff, including personal greetings and embraces, it's clear that their exceptional management is a cornerstone of the resort's success. We left inspired by the atmosphere and are already dreaming of our next visit.
