Best place in Sokcho!”
Casa Seorak is the perfect get away from the busy city life. From the balcony of our room we were able to watch the sunrise over the Sea of Japan while drinking hand-ground coffee. Breakfast was delicious. It was toast, eggs, fresh fruit, salad, and fruit juice. Our room had a jacuzzi which was perfect for soaking in after visiting Seorak National Park (which is only about 20 minutes away on the bus). We were about a 20 minute walk from a fish market which was great. Matsu (which is about a 10 minute walk) is quite the experience. Christmas themed Italian restaurant! Food was good and the ambiance was so relaxing. Hadomun was a tranquil and modern cafe that’s right next door. Juha (the owner of Casa Seorak) was SO welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure our experience was as special as it could be. He helped us navigate our next destination and helped us with laundry. His staff is very friendly and he was always there with a smile to make sure we were ok. When I come back to Sokcho I hope that there’s room at Casa Seorak again for us!

Home away from home”
This is the second time we stayed at Casa. This time we chose family suite. It was lovely catching up with uncle Juha (as well as the Matsu cafe staff) again. Thank you uncle Juha for making us feel so comfortabk with clean, warm and homely rooms, great breakfast to start the day. We love the loft and the well equipped kitchen with the dining area!

Exceptional”
We had an amazing time at Casa Seorak. The owner, who was fluent in English, was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. When we arrived, he sat down with us, showed us a map and recommended places to visit and restaurants. He even drove us to the bus station at the end of our stay, as we didn't have a car. Breakfast was delicious, the spa bathtub was an amazing luxury, and the DVD and board game selections were excellent. We can't wait to visit again!

Charming B&B”
Casa Seorak is a charming B&B, tucked away among greenhouses on a quiet path. The host is friendly, attentive and very helpful. We had customised breakfast delivered to our room. We enjoyed the spacious room with the sunken hot tub, which provided a luxurious soak after a day out! This B&B is ideal for getting to the Seoraksan National Park by bus, with nearby places to eat.

Best stay in my entire Korea trip”
This was our best stay in our entire 2-week Korea trip. The other 2 are in Seoul ad Jeju. We are very happy and satisfied with our stay and wouldn't think twice about staying here again the next time we return to Sokcho It's easy to get to Seoraksan and downtown Sokcho from here. You get both the mountains and the sea in close proximity. Love the countryside location. There is absolutely no stress here. Room has all the modern conveniences and facilities, it is very spacious with a full length windows overlooking the forest and garden, best breakfast ever served in room. Host, Juha and his wife, couldn't be any warmer and welcoming. Our stay here makes me aspire to retire in such a pleasant environment. If you live in the city, this place is a haven. The only issue we had was the street out to the main road is very dark at night. More street lights will be helpful but this is not something within the control of Casa Seorak. Juha offered to drive us out to the main road for dinner and lent us a flashlight for our return. It was quite an experience for us city folks. Juha also drove us from and to the bus terminals for our arrival and departure. I highly recommend Casa Seorak for your stay in Sokcho.

My dream room ”
We had enjoyed a night stay in Casa Seorak! Very kind of the host to pick us to and fro the bus stop and introduce Sokcho area to us. Communication was easy in English and the house is just few bus stop away from mount seoraksan! We woke up with a view of garden by the window and a hearty breakfast prepared by the host. There is even a coffee grinder in the room to brew our own coffee! Something that we will never experience in the commercial hotel. It was a luxury to have a in room whirlpool just right in front of our bed! Every corner of the room was designed by little lovely art and craft! Suggest to stay longer in Casa Seorak as 1 night stay is really too short to enjoy the lovely Hse and explore the entire mountain! Can't wait to try other room in different theme on my next visit again:) Thanks Casa Seorak for the memorable stay :)

good location for mount seorak”
bus stop to mount seorak just a stone throw away from the BNB hotel. recommended for backpackers. the owner is very friendly and caring enough to recommend us places to visits, foods to try, and how to maximise your time when you are at mount seorak. He speak fantastic english, and he also provide services to fetch us from the bus terminal to his hotel. rooms are huge and designed artistically. balcony has a good view of mount Seorak. there are some mosquitoes but i dont find it a problem as mosquitoes repellant are provided. homemade breakfast are delivered to room. breakfast are simple but filling and tasted good. The best italian restaurant in sokcho, Matsu if you see from tripadvisor, is just beside casa seorak. we had chance to visit and it is fantastic.

Highlight of our trip!”
We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Seorak! Felt very welcomed when Juha offered to pick us up from the bus station and gave us a short intro on what to do/ how to get around Sokcho. Location is great - There is a bus station located a few minutes away on foot. Casa Seroak is in between the Seorak National Park and the city centre and the bus conveniently connects the two. There is also an Italian restaurant very nearby called Matsu which serves hearty Italian food. Amazing room - nicely decorated, fully equipped, very comfortable and we loved the jacuzzi tub! Also love how breakfast is served to our room and the variety of it! The selection of DVDs they had was also great. We would recommend it to anyone who comes to Sokcho! Wish we could stay longer and many thanks to the host for their hospitality!

B & B not to be missed”
Glad we chose Casa Seorak over Hanwha. We had 2 rooms with 2 different view, the sea and the mountains. Place is super clean and comfortable. Mr Juha was a great host for the 3 days 2 nights at Casa Seorak. He picked us at the bus terminal on arrival and dropped us at the bus-stop on the day we left. He told us where and how to get abt Sokcho, Mt Seorak, where to eat. Location of his B&B was gd cos its in between Seoraksan and Sokcho town area. Breakfast was yummy with fresh fruits and warm toasts. My son had fun running around the cottage and playing with the dogs.

This was our first-time to Sokcho-si, this B&B is well-located nearby the main attraction - Seoraksan. The B&B is at good condition with friendly owner and staffs. A pick-up service was provided upon our arrival at Sokcho express bus station. The room is equipped with high speed wifi (free), TV with Internet, small kitchenette with fridge, kettle, small coffee grinder, infra-red cooker, basic cooking utensils, etc. as well as spacious toilet with shower. The breakfast was good with standard portion for two. Our overall experience at Casa Seorak B&B was very good and will go back to the B&B again.

My family and I were very impressed to have a shuttle service from the bus station to Casa Seorak. The owner offered sincere hospitality and made us feel at home. Once we walked into our family room we were capture by the blend of modern Korean decor and the essence of a Korean house with sliding doors and Korean furniture. My family and I visit travel a lot and Casa Seorak was the best of all the places we have stayed. Very clean and peaceful. Mr. J, the owner gave us maps and suggestions for dinner where to take the bus to Seoraksan Mt. The bus stop is located 300 meters to CASA Seorak easy walk. After a day of exploring one of the most beautiful mountains in South Korea we selected a movie from the free movie library and we rested comfortably in our room. The next morning, breakfast was served!! after our delicious filling breakfast we had no doubt we had found the best place to stay for our upcoming winter vacation. We highly recommend it.

Casa Seorak is the perfect quiet, adorable getaway for hiking at Seoraksan National Park and enjoying Sokcho. It’s a quick 15 minute bus ride to the park and about 15 to Sokcho (or about a $8 can ride if you wanna get fancy). So it’s perfectly located. Juha picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal (we were coming from Seoul), which we really appreciated. Light breakfast was included, coffee, tea, and fantastic scenery! Also Juha gave us great recommendations (restaurants, hikes, etc.). His English is great! The place is sparkling clean and pin drop quiet, with fantastic open views. My mother and I stayed here for 2 nights and we wish we could’ve stayed longer! I love that it’s not on some main tourist drag or in some giant resort building. We loved the intimate, friendly and very laid back vibe of this place. I’ve been recommending it to all my friends and family! Also there are very friendly doggies! One even walked us to the bus stop and dropped us off. Stay here!

lovely BnB getaway ”
We split our time between a 5star hotel and this BnB. Once we were at Casa Seorak, we realized it suited us better.Our suite was very thoughtfully furnished, clean, and cozy. The BnB was completely booked, however, tucked away in the foothills of the Vegetable Village everything was really quiet. We had been worried about the location since we opted to not drive and fight with the weekend traffic. We took the express bus into Sokcho's City Terminal, and found Casa Seorak is an easy local bus away. The same line takes you to Seoraksan or to the Port where we had two delicious meals (lunch one day and dinner the next day). For future trips to Sokcho/Seoraksan, we would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel gives complete satisfaction”
The stay in "Casa seorak" with my family was one of the most memorable one, it is completely value for money, hotel rooms are equipped with all the necessary stuffs a traveler may need to 'live' not just 'stay' be it cooking, relaxing or day-to-day activities and it was remarkably "spotlessly clean", the hotel is surrounded by picturesque surroundings of farms and greenery and midst of mountain on one side and beach on the other side, the owners themselves were the staffs and were really cordial on every step, we felt like we went to our close friends' place and back, such was the impression on the way they took care of us, I would strongly recommend who ever wants to stay in Seorak or Sokcho trip. Hats off Mr.Juha
