Thank you Butterfly Lodge”
Thank you Ganga for such a great stay. Ganga, who works at reception, made everything easy for us including bookings for buses and any information we asked for. The staff are so welcoming that it felt like a second home for us. All the staff have a sparkle in their eyes and radiate warmth. I loved the mountain views and the massage at the lodge - be brave and go! The woman are excellent and pummelled my weary body back to life! The restraunt is being built so we had most of our food in town. We left Butterfly Lodge for a few days to be by the lake but we quickly returned as we missed the atmosphere of the lodge. Thank you Butterfly Lodge for being so kind to us - we will always remember our stay with you in our hearts!

Good Choice For Pokhara”
I wish to recommend Butterfly Lodge. Having visited Pokhara a number of times, it is my hotel of choice. Conveniently located, it has well priced comfortable clean rooms and a large garden to relax in. Cheerful front desk individuals warmly greet new arrivals and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The owners Govinda and Keshab pahari, warm family man, are socially conscious. They use profits from the hotel to run a nursery school for poor children, giving them a head start in their lives.

great staff, clean room, great location”
We were booked in at the Butterfly Lodge for 2 nights and stayed for 10. We have stayed in many hotels, around S.E.Asia, but the Butterfly Lodge has been our favourite. All the staff greet with a great smile, and no request is ever a problem. If ever we are back in Pokhara, we will definitely be back to the Butterfly Lodge

Excellent service for a comfortable stay ”
Our stay at Butterfly Lodge was great, the staff are extremely helpful and professional. A staff member would wrote out step by step instructions on how to catch the public bus to Begnas Lake, which would have been very difficult otherwise! The breakfast was tasty and generous. The room we had, deluxe non ac, was spacious, comfortable and clean! I would definitely recommend this hotel. The recycling bins and charity donations are bonuses to a very pleasant hotel.

Good value for money”
One of the few things that really bother us in Nepal is the supply of hot shower water. We stayed in four different hotels during our trip this time. Butterfly lodge is the cheapest, but the hot water supply is way better than any other hotels. The receptionist is really warm and friendly and helpful. All of our inquiries were solved in good time course. Definitely worth its price.

Clean, near the downtown and lake”
The staffs welcomed us warmly. Most of the guesthouse would be able to help you arrange bus ticket, hiking, porter arrangement. And for Butterfly, we asked to help arranging us bus ticket to go to Kathmandu and it was done in just a minute. The room is spacious and clean. As it is an environmental friendly lodge, there will be no mineral water served in the room but you could fill your water bottle at the lobby's water dispenser. I like the idea. There are couple of bins which you could drop your plastic bottles for recycle purpose as well.

Awesome”
We really couldn't have asked for more from the Butterfly Lodge. It was home away from home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. In a couple of hours they had organized our trekking permits, booked our guide and porter and we were off for our trek in a matter of hours. We had a wonderful and experienced guide and porter which made our dream holiday come true. We will be back again next year. We loved it

Nice Experience”
The staff is kind as they helped a lot on my itinerary which helping avoiding redundant time, especially during the last day where there was a "Banda" which means Local people having a strike due to political issue. It is greatly influenced on tourism as shops are closed and transport are all prohibited from operating. Thanks to the staff I got catch the plane on time. There is a nice rooftop area where sun bathing and mountain/ star viewing is available whenever the sky is not hazy. The hotel is located at the northern crowded area with a lot of bars, cafe, agencies etc. I would definitely visit them again if I go to Pokhara again.

A little oasis in the heart of Pohkara Lakeside”
The hotel was very nice with a great little garden with lounge chairs. Perfect for chilling after a trek. The location is money. Two seconds from the main road in Lakeside. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable and is definitely worth the money. The owner Reez is knowledgeable and helped me organize cabs etc to sites around Pokhara. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, Great Location”
This hotel is very comfortable. The location is perfect. You are a short 100m stroll to centre of main shopping and eating street. I had a great view of the lake and the snow covered mountains (when clear) from my suite on 4th floor. No lift though, but staff happy to carry bags etc. You may also get this from 3rd. Aircon, hot water, wifi all worked well in the room. The head of reception is such a lovely guy and will go out of his way to help you. I would stay here again. Note : this place does not have a pool.

A surprisingly good hotel”
Very comfortable, clean and spacious room with a huge bathroom. Downsides were that the t.v didn't work and there was a gap in the window in the bathroom which was the entranceway for a little gecko into the bathroom! There was also a small gap under the door to the room which may be potentially not very nice for people who are scared of bugs! Another downside was that the shower was cold both evening and morning. However this hotel was a great surprise - good in every other way. So clean and the high ceilings gave the room a nice open atmosphere.

Good quality semi-budget hotel in quiet location”
By Pokhara standards this is a good value, clean, well kept hotel with a nice garden to chill-out in, and friendly helpful staff. The suite rooms are in the new block and offer a decent amount of space plus a mini balcony, although if you don't need 2 beds ask for a room with just a double, as the rooms with double and single seem less spacious.

Exceptional”
People at the front desk were extremely helpful (but not pushy) and spoke great English. The rooms were nice and clean with good wifi and hot showers. The view from the roof was incredible and the courtyard was quite at peaceful. The hotel supports a great cause and the guy behind it even got me a free ride to the airport when I was running late for my flight.

Great stay at the Butterfly”
Excellent place to stay. Great staff. Clean rooms. The front of the hotel is under construction where they are building a new restaurant. The hotel sits at the back of the property well away from the cosntruction. The location is excellent - very close to Lakeside.

Lovely hotel. excellent friendly service.”
I couldn't have wished for a better room. Good breakfast. Very comfortable beds and high standards of cleanliness. The staff were friendly and courteous and the whole atmosphere was that of a family run hotel. The location is also quiet- set back off the main street.

Nice hotel”
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days in July. The hotel is in good location, you can walk or ride a bike (about 5 usd rent) around the city. The balcony has nice, peaceful view. The room was clean, and the price was very reasonable.

Relaxing stay”
After our stay in Sarangkot my friend and i stayed here for a night before heading back to Kathmandu and we did have a very relaxing stay. We did our recuperation at this cozy hotel after a tiresome days of travelling. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy and clean. So is the toilet&bath. Plus point for the consistent hot water, since we visited during winter. The staff are nice and friendly. Do note that they dont have any lift. Location of the hotel is okay, its a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops. We also tried their massage parlor, dont expect too much, the massage room is so small and old looking. It needs alot of improvement, and wish they use fresh clean towels! I just badly needed a massage because i was so tired but wont ever do it again. The masseuse is good but for my friend she didnt finish her 1hr session because she didnt like it at all.

Family visit to Nepal”
The staff of the hotel are excellent in terms of hospitality and personal behavior, they take care of my children. I am planning to stay again if they provide base kitchen facilities to meet the demand of children.
