Batu Pahat is a district in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It lies southeast of Muar, southwest of Kluang, northwest of Pontian, and south of Segamat and the new Ledang district.
a town where the main activity in is the morning. Most eating places are open in the morning, with the least food court open at night.
Batu Pahat means Stone Chisel. There is a garden in the city with a fountain, On top of the fountain is the carving of a Hand holding a Chisel and pounding on a stone.

Samll town but with different feel at different location. Can go to Fish temple, jetty, Shopping mall or the latest shop are near Liang Ji wanton noodle.
Batu Pahat is a small town. We went there for business purpose. Nothing much to share as we only go working and only stay in the hotel.

There are many delicious food sold in Batu Pahat. Options are plenty from breakfast to supper. Prices are also affordable.
Batu Pahat is quite a small but very clean and well maintained town. You can see the people are well-to-do and quality of accommodation and restaurants is high-end but price is low-end.
Has many restaurants and food eateries and 2 shopping malls. You need to travel around and explore the town to find good eating places.
Quiet old town that going through transformation. The local food are superb. They also have ferry terminal to go to Sumatera.
Pantai minyak beku. Summit have cheap DIY shop. BP mall is modern. Plenty of tyre, accessories and car workshop.
Visit the hawker stalls along the main road Jln Rahmat and its branches. The stalls are usually snugged at odd end lot spaces or side lanes.
Batu Pahat is a short drive if you are travelling up from say Singapore or JB. So it's a nice transit stop.
Most wonderful thing to do in batu pahat is to find some good massage center and visit chinese templer.
This is a old town started before the world war. There are many old building in the town area such as the Pos office building, chinese Chamber of commerce, the old Cinema, the old government buildings, the HighSchool BP main hall, the fountain, etc.
A very nice town with many Shopping Centers and eateries conveniently located. The local food are delicious and cheap.
Nowadays Batu Pahat is getting to be very crowded and it is not uncommon to be caught in a traffic jam.
A town blended well with old and new facade. A place full of good local cooking delights with many shopping outlets.
Generally, Batu Pahat itself has not much to offer. If not for business, i doubt i will ever go there again.

Batu Pahat, the capital of Johor. Great place to visit for nightlife bar called Ibeam bar. Food is value for money and people there are friendly too.
A small but busy town, mainly locals and hardly see any foreigners. Good place to try local food. A relaxing place.
Eat and shop around the town. Food are delicious and reasonably priced. Visit BP Mall or Carrefour area.
Can visit the newer malls such as MBO and BP Mall. Both have cinemas and supermarkets. If you are more adventurous, can venture around town and look for good food.
