Perfect. Central, Clean, Comfortable, Uber Friendly, Affordable.”

Central: 7min walk to beach, 10min walk to pier, close to middle of Na Dan village with access to so many options of more authentic, tasty food at affordable price, good massages, cafes with good coffee, travel agents. Clean & Comfortable: Spotless clean, good WiFi, air-conditioning & hot water working very well, towels and soap/shampoo good. Uber Friendly: Surprisingly, you don't get good Thai hospitality standards on this island. We found that here. Offered us extra towels for the beach, helped me printed some documents for free. Staying at Blue Moon is like staying with your friend or family who moved to Ko Samet. Affordable: value for money. We compared quite a few options. Blue Moon wins hands down. Cons: Hard to find initially. Once you are shown the shortcut by the owner, easily accessible from main road. Also, staying in the village means everytime you have to show the ticket at the checkpoint to get to the beach each time, which causes a tiny bit of inconvenience.

My wife and I spent two nights at "Blue Moon". The room was simple yet very clean and comfortable overall. WiFi was excellent. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. He rented us a brand new motorcycle which proved perfect to discover the whole island / National Park. The location was perfect for our needs, close to everything (esp. main pier, National Park entrance, restaurants...). I definitely recommend the "Blue Moon" in Koh Samet.

Exceptional”

Blue Moon was the perfect little getaway for a few days. Literally 3-4 minutes walk from the ferry and into Sai Keaw beach. Plenty to do from this base location with everything a stones throw away. The staff will hire you a moped if you like and we took up the offer. We travelled from samet village, to all the little beaches all over with Ao Praow being the most fancy. There are a few smaller quaint beaches in the north also. I would like to point out that the Blue Moon staff were awesome, very attentive and were on hand to help out with anything. Top marks to them, they made our stay even more enjoyable, so thank you very much guys, all of you.

ONE OF THE BEST EVER”

We were a group of 4 friends traveling from Taiwan. Before we came, we were a bit worried ‘cuz lots of the comments talked about the mosquito problem. BUT trust me, if you do close your door, it won’t be a problem at all. The hotel is super close to the beach and everything. If you wanna enjoy some drinks at night at the beach, it’s just 3 minutes away from the bars on foot. The owner and the receptionist were super kind to us as well. They gave us discounts for renting the motorbikes and free gas! Even thought we have checked out, they let us use their bathroom IN the room and asked us if we wanted to shower. We just asked to use the water outside tho. Lastly, though we stayed in a room with two double bed, we used the bathroom in a regular one double-bed room. I’d say the size of with rooms are pretty decent. If you want your private room but have a budget for a place to , blue moon is a really awesome choice for you. :-)

Super Clean”

Our stay was good, the place is ultra clean, has all you need for travel (shower, A/C, electric kettle, hair dryer). We haven't seen the stuff around that much, but they welcomed us and cleaned the room every day, which was good. Location is in village center, but it it not on the main street, and it was tricky for us to get there, but fortunately owner of the property noticed us early and helped us. Also, please keep in mind that property has only ground level and only one window in the room. So you will have to keep it shut almost all the time. Personally I would prefer upper floors, but in the end we had a comfortable stay.

Everything you need”

Nice and clean room, good wifi, perfect location - close to everything from the main part of the island by walk. To explore the whole island get a motorbike, they have new honda clicks at a good price. Staff are friendly and helpful, we we'll be happy to come back :)

Good”

This hotel is located at the back of the Main Street, so we missed their signboard at the junction when we first arrive, took us some time to ask and find it. Other than that, everything is good, very friend staffs, clean room, comfortable bed, good location with a lot of food stalls nearby, walking distance to Sai Kaew beach and Nan da pier.

Hi - conveniently located with a really nice room for the price and the owner/staff were really nice. I got a last minute discount on Agoda and was very happy with my stay!

I cant say anything negative. Great place to stay for a long weekend. Friendly staff, very helpfull, clean rooms, perfect shower. Might be even better then in many 4 star Hotels. Will join again for sure! Thank you very much

Exceptional”

Really nice room, good decor, modern lighting bathroom modern and very clean, excellent rain shower. Tea and coffee always welcome and fridge with water too. Only 5 minutes walk from Na Dan pier and closer to restaurants and bars, beach is 5 minutes walk. Sadly swimming pools are few on the island.

Good for price”

Had a room at back which was quieter although the window looked out to a mess of junk. Big bed which was comfy. Great shower, good wifi signal. Close to 0restaurants bars and 1o mins walk to beach. Far right end of beach is quieter and worth the extra walk. Nice staff but didnt get any room cleaning or water but only stayed 3 days so not an issue. Only gripe was ac very loud and lots of mozzies getting in somehow.

A little walk from the beach but its away from the noise, the shops and cafe are close by and staff were really helpful. the member of staff at the front desk was brilliant, I deiced to stay longer then I had booked and was offered another room but it was discounted by what I would have paid on line. Nice clean and comfortable.

It is quiet,clean and not far from the beach”

I like the hotel. It is clean and the environment is quiet. A few minutes to the beach and so convenient to buy food because shops are nearby. There is motorbike for rent and negotiable. The bathroom and bed are big. Wifi is very good. The water is clean. The room is big. The only thing that lack is that there is no hook or towel holder in the bathroom. And also the walls... you can hear from the other room.

Worth the price”

Best location, quiet place, yet walking distance to the beach and centre. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was very big and clean. I will definitely come back to stay and recommend friends to stay here

Room is very clean and not far from the pier and the beach. The staffs is very good service ,take care and fixed very fast I got the problem when doesn’t have the water.

A good hotel”

A very nice place. 10 - 15 minute walk from the pier. Restaurants , bars and massages within a 2 minute walk. No excessive noise so you are able to have a good nights sleep. Staff are good and helpful . You can hire motor bike with no need to refuel on return. All in all a great place and will be back.

Very Good Value”

Good size clean room with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. About a 6 minute walk to the beach, which is lovely. Situated on a quiet back road which runs level with the Main Street from the pier. Only complaint was the natural wake up alarm from cockerels far too early in the morning.

Amazing location”

very helpful staff, amazing view on the sea! Just be aware of some insects and geckos inside the rooms but that's a normal thing in Thailand ;)
