The most excellent choice in Sukhothai ”

We stayed at Blue House for 2 nights in the beggining of February 2015. The staff is very polite, friendly and speak English well. They are willing to provide with any kind of information. The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, comfortable and soooo clean. I think this room is one of the cleanest rooms i have ever stayed in. The location is marvellous, near the market and the bus stop to Sukhothai Historical Park (which was the only reason we visited this -in other words- indifferent city of central Thailand) and a 20min walk from Sukhothai central bus station. Every day we had been provided with a bottle of water for free. Breakfast was not included in our booking, so we had to pay for it. We had breakfast 2 times and i dare say that this is the only minus of this hotel. The prices are a bit high and the portions are small, but the espresso is real and long. I think Blue House Sukhothai is the most excellent choice, in New Sukhothai, for travellers of every kind. I should definately stay there again.

Great hotel - couldn’t recommend it more highly”

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, our stay at the Blue House was exceptional. Our room was very comfortable, modern, large, clean and well appointed (with a 4 poster bed). Bathroom was great, aircon and fridge worked well. The reception staff were freindly and they kindly arranged all our travel to go from Sukhothai up to Chiang Mai - they even bought our bus tickets for us and arranged a tuktuk to the bus station. The lady on reception even waved goodbye as we left in the tuktuk! Seriously couldn’t recommend this hotel more. You won’t regret staying here. Great value for money and the staff and facilities are all top notch.

A great stay with friendly staff”

Blue House seems to be a recently opened hotel, and they are doing great work. The Thai at the front desk is friendly and helpful with good suggestions for seeing Sukhothai. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot. All of this at a very affordable price. Keep it up Blue House!

A little blue gem”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Blue House and would definitely recommend the place. The hotel is quite new and spotless. In the heart of new Sukhothai, near good restaurants (look for Pai), although on a small and quiet lane. The staff is extremely polite and ahead of their clients’ needs. Very good value for the price.

Excellent”

Blue House gave us excellent experience! Extremely clean, comfortable,.Masters and staffs are nice and patient. They are glad to commnicated with customers and give them good/useful suggestions and infomation. Really save our cost！ If we go to Sukhothai again. Blue house is our first choice!

Unbeatable value”

We stayed at this guesthouse (which was more like a hotel) for 2 nights. Seeing as it was one of the cheaper accomodations of our trip we just expected a bed and a clean room. It exceeded our expectations however. It was a good location right next to the bus stop to sukhothai and some of the best restaurants and (only?) bars in town. Seeing as it is down an alley you don't have any noise pollution from the street though. Reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a big and comfortable bed. And they had an information folder in every room which was a great help. It had everything from some historical tidbits about the city to going rates for transport and how to's to get to the airport. I would absolutely recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in new suksukhothai!

Loved it all! ...except the slow wifi”

We absolutely loved the Blue House, great value for money. The rooms are lovely and clean, the bathroom is great and the staff is friendly. They helped us get a bus ticket to Chiang Mai so we had no trouble with it ourselves. Location is in the new city, so it´s best to rent a motorbike to old city (which you can do right at the hotel but if they´re out, go to 4T Guest House a little up the road). It´s close to the main road with street food, restaurants and so on. Overall, nothing to criticize, except the wifi which was really really slow.

New Sukhothai ”

Found this Bluehouse great value for money and the old wooden buses leave opposite the Guesthouse at New Sukhothai on main road 15 klms to the Sukhothai Historial Park every 15 minutes for 30 thb and one can hire Bicycles for 30 thb opposite the Old City bus stop for long rides around the old temples and a bicycle road mapped for easy 20 klm rides and also New Sukhothai local markets at end of lane to Bluehouse every morning for fresh fruit & vegetables and other goodies with main bus terminal 3 klms to the north for onward travel buses to all other towns..

Outstanding Service”

Once we arrived on Friday we quickly realized that we would be unable to get home on Sunday, as it was the end of the New Year holiday. The staff was more than helpful in assisting us in re arranging our travel plans and were very kind and gracious. The location is next to a lovely vegetable market and the bus to the old city is across the road. The rooms were large and very clean and had a perfectly comfortable bed... It was hard to leave it in the morning! I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Sukhothai!

This place has the right formula”

Clean rooms, quiet but central location, easy access to buses to old Sukhothai, good breakfast. The nice and almost unusual thing is that they provide the rooms with a binder full of information about local temples and monuments, as well as free maps to guide you. Super friendly people run the place, and it gives it the feeling outside the rooms of being a small B&B while the rooms feel more like an upper-class hotel inside.

Hdden gem”

Spend one night at Blue House Sukothai The hotel is located in easy walking distance to the city. It´s a bit set back from the 12 but surprisingly quiet, although it´s just a 2min walk to the main street. However – its 14kms from old Sukothai The room was big, clean and fairly new. The staff was very friendly and helpful – no worries at all As I´m just interested in the old part of Sukothai, I wouldn´t stay there again. However if you don´t mind the trip, it’s definitely a recommendation in Sukothai

Clean hotel, Nice room, Many mosquitoes!”

Nice & clean room, A/C works fine, location is good too as near the Sukhothai city, you do need to rent a bicycle though. The only problem I had was the mosquitoes, YES YOU WILL FIND MOSQUITOES IN THE HOTEL ROOM. I killed 7 in my room at my first night, and about 2-3 every nights for the rest of my stay. The cleaning staff leaves the door opened while doing cleaning in the room, which is probably how the mosquitoes got in. I also see many ants in the bathroom too. This is a good hotel for the value for money, however I believe the overall staying experience can be greatly improved if the hotel staffs do pay a little more attention on small detail like this. wish they can pay a little more attention on the small details like this, one unsolved problem can change the overall experience

Lovely new guesthouse with friendly staff”

We stayed at this guesthouse for a couple of nights whilst exploring Sukhothai historical park. It is fairly new and is a nice little guest house, clean and comfortable. Fairly basic but good value for money. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food quality. Location is in the centre of town so good for finding markets, restaurants and bars. To get to the historical parks though you will need transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with a map of all the historical parks and recommending what to go and see dependent on how long we would be staying. Also, the gravel car park was newly laid and I managed to get my girlfriend's 4x4 stuck in the gravel. The hotel staff all helped and got some of the locals to get a truck to help pull it free! Very grateful!

Good to stay”

Staff is kind. I rent a mortorbike to see around the town on the day and go to Sukhothai histrical park in the next day. 7/11 is just walking distance. There are some restaurants and bars. If you cross the bridget, you can find a market. If your purpose is to see Sukhothai historical park, this hotel is ideal but please rent a mortorbike there to see around Sukhothai temples. Temples is not only in the park. FYI: New town Sukhothai has 2 areas. One is where this hotel is. The other area is in Damrong alley. The area where this hotel is kind of foreigner area but doens't have many attractions. Only a couple of bars and restaurants. Damrong alley is the other areas. The street is for Thai local but there are many restaurants and bars.

Everything was great, nothing else too add”

Very nice appartment(especially for that price!), the staff was nice, friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great aswell. 7/11 3-5 minutes walking distance, the bus station to old Sukhothai was just opposite of 7/11. Not a thing I could criticize!

Little but not little blue house in little town”

Our stay was very pleasant. No breakfast provided. Location is great. Walking distance to everywhere i.e. eating places, night market, town. The rooms were comfort, cozy, felt like back to our own home. Strongly recommend this place if you come to Sukhothai.

I am from Hong Kong and I can speak Thai. I travelled from Chiang Mai to Sukhothai for 3days 2 nights. The hotel is very clean, quiet. It is good if the hotel provide kettle and 3 in 1 coffe bag in room.

Outstanding Property and Staff”

My stay at Blue House was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyday there are free biscuits and coffee which adds a nice touch. Everything was superb and I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent choice for new visitors to Sukothai”

Gorgeous beds,dark and peaceful at night,Blue house is a great place to sleep. Staff are helpful,efficient and can communicate.Thank you I did not eat breakfast, but a good cappuccino is 30 baht. There is lots of information, tours, bike rent etc. Nearby local market is worth a browse.Location is central,but a busy road to cross at night. There is no International TV.
