great hostel”

it was great, the room feels like a mini apartment. everything you need are available eg; bathroom, microwave, kitchen set (stove and sink), refrigerator, hairdryer, tv, personal wifi for each room, a closet for your clothes, and washing machine. a common area is also available for you to mingle with other guests. light breakfast is available in common area. if you lazy to take a drink in common area which is located in 1st floor, you could supply mineral water by buying it at a convinience store near subway or hostel. it's a 4-story building with no elevator, but the staffs are very helpfull to take your luggage to your room even help us to carry it untill subway. what a great assistance for the guest. another great thing is about the location, it's in hongdae and walking distance to subway. will stay at hostel KW again for next trip.

Excellent”

Really recommended this hostel for those who decided travel to korea. It take only around 5 minute walks from hongik station. Room is clean and the staff is really helpful and nice. Will definitely choose BB Hongdae if I travel to korea again.

A Very Pleasant Stay”

The hostel is about 5 minutes away from the Hongdae University Station which is directly connected with Airport. The hostel can be a bit tricky to look for at the first time. The hostel can only be accessed with security password so it feels safe. The room is very comfortable and there is even a washing mashine inside. The lady boss is very friendly and speaks very good mandarin. Overall this is a very pleasant guesthouse.

Great location, great staff, excellent value”

I was a little reluctant to stay at a Hostel but when you travel on a budget it is necessary to try new things. I am happy we did because we loved the Hostel. Of the six guest houses and hotels we stayed in during our visit to South Korea this one was the best one by far (and we stayed in a 4 star hotel during the trip). It is easy to get to from the airport line, the staff even sent a picture pathway documenting the easiest way to get to the guest house. The size of the room was good for our family of four. The washing machine was great. Location was great easy access to subway station to move everywhere. Close to the main streets where all the shopping stores, Hongik University, and restaurants are located. The room had a private bathroom, AC, lockers, and let us drop off our bags before checkin. All these helped to have a comfortable time in Korea. I liked especially that the place was clean and it seems newly renovated. The people in charge of the Hostel were very nice, helpful, and they speak English. I highly recommend this place. We liked it so much that we changed other reservations to return after we visited Jeju. When we go back we will definitely stay at the Hostel again.

nice place”

At first time, i was be a bit confused with road to place, but after first time i did remember well. It so easy to found and many ways to go there. Staff was be really friendly, speaking english well (^^''). What else? Hmm...i like bed there, really comfortable and room have too much utility (useful). Everything new and almost clean, it really good point. I like that door have auto lock, i feel safe there. Only one complain i have: i wish there are something more then just soap, at last shampoo and toothpaste be really good option, and some paper tissue, but for the price it not necessary, i guess. Around area there so many cafe and good student shopping places. Well, guess i'll stay there again when will go to Seoul. Когда искала дорогу в первый раз, немного запуталась, но по адресу местные жители быстро показали дорогу. После этого было очень легко находить дорогу. Место находится достаточно близко к станции метро, думаю минуты. Персонал очень дружелюбный и внимательный. Мне очень понравилась кровать, до этого жила в нескольких других местах и там не могла выспаться из-за неудобства матрасов и подушек, здесь же наконец отлично поспала. В "номере" очень много всякой техники, это достаточно удобно. Близко расположено очень много разных маленьких кафешек и студенческое место для шоппинга и туссовок. Единственное что огорчило это минимальный набор косметики: только мыло, хотелось бы еще шампунь и зубную пасту, но думаю за эту цену это простительно. Возможно остановлюсь там снова, когда поеду в следующий раз, мне понравилось.

A great, friendly hostel with nice staff”

It was great! The staff providing detailed directions, complete with photos. They were kind, welcoming, and included a free breakfast. They also were very kind in allowed to keep our things for the day before we headed to the airport. As well, they all spoke great English, which is hard to come by sometimes in Seoul. I would definitely stay here again-having stayed twice already:)

Location is great. ”

The location is great. I love this part of town. I only went for one night so not many problems. But if you go for longer, have in mind that there is no lift (I got a room in the 5th floor) and that you cannot cook there, and there are no plates or cutlery. It is a quite region of Hongdae and very nearby to the main streets. So, you can enjoy the night life of Hongdae and also sleep well.

Great stay. ”

Very close to the Seoul Subway (including Airport Express train), very easy to find. Room was very clean. Owners are very helpful - I ended up checking in late due to traffic and they emailed me very precise instructions on how to get in my room. Highly recommend!

Value for money but not clean enough”

It's near to the main Street of hongdae shopping center, restaurant and cafe. It's 4 minutes away from hongik station gate 3 and 6 minutes away from airport bus stop. The door access is using password, so it's quite safe. But They didn't even provide any shampoo, soap or even some water to drink. The sink pipe was leak, everytime the sink filled with water, the bathroom floor will get wet. And the room was not clean enough, i can see dust on some spot in the room.

Value for money! ”

The hostel is very comfortable. Staffs are very friendly & helpful with fluent english. Room is spacious and enough for us. The heater is on the floor and it makes the room warm. They provide fridge, mini kitchen & washing machine inside the room which are very useful. But the location is not so close to mrt station but still worth it.

overall good stay”

Hostel is in good location and is quiet. Room was clean, staff was helpful. My only real complaint is there was a chlothes washing machine, but not a clothes dryer or a hang rack. I would recommend for a weekend or up to 5 days. If you need to do laundry, probably better choices available. Overall good value for money.

Excellent”

It's near Hongdae station exit 3, a super busy area. There are a lot of foods around. I love breakfast here, basic but nice with bread, fruit salad and drinks.

1st time in Seoul”

This is where we stayed first upon arriving to Seoul. Of course, it was a bit difficult finding the place but thanks to a lady who assisted us. And it is not actually far from Hongik Univ station. It has also nearby restaurants so you'll never go hungry. The place was clean and with complete amenities. They fixed the wifi for us and provided us adaptors to charge our phones.

small but complete with facilities”

It was small but cozy, complete with fridge, microwave, washing machine, small hood n hob. Staff was very friendly, we reached earlier than check in time, planning to go out and may be back late. He showed us the entry pass code and helped us placed our luggage in the room. There's no lift but didn't feel too bad as our luggage was carried up by the staff n carrying down was less tiring. But the location was a bit hard to find, in a very small lane and about 10mins walk from metro station. It is at the opposite side from the Hongdae Street area.

Nice place”

if you're looking for a place to hang out , lots of cafes, but still get the quiet atmosphere while you need a rest.. This is the place you looking for.. only a 5-minute walk to reach the station hongdae exit 3 .. 1 minute walk to 24 hour convenience store GS25.. Full room facilities , they provide microwave , washing machine even an electric stove ,, keep in mind that the staff is only there from 9 am until 10 pm ,

It’s an affordable option but the heat barely worked and there was no hot water ”

I understand that the hostel wants to reduce cost but the heat wasn’t helpful at all. During my stay it was very cold in Seoul (-10 to -17 Celsius degrees). There was no hot water in the shower so taking a shower was intimating in such harsh weather. Otherwise staff was friendly and they cleaned everyday. I don’t see a problem staying here in summer, but not in winter.

Convenient in the middle of Hongdae street”

The bed was perfect but the facilities were not properly managed. Staff was friendly. Overall i still enjoyed the hostel! Value for money

Very good breakfast & comfortable room”

Slightly off the road, so it is calm in the night for tight sleep. Breakfast is superb and more than you can expect in an ordinary backpackers hostels. Warm and tidy room

Great location”

Located near Hongdae Station, which is on the AREX line so it’s super convenient to get to from Incheon airport. The property is located in the hip neighborhood of Yeonnam-dong so there are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are super helpful, and they even lend me a power strip because mine wasn’t compatible. I highly recommend this place, and I would definitely stay here again!
