Excellent”
The staff, especially the two ladies attending the breakfast section, were super friendly. The staff were professional and really pay attention to the guests' needs. The hotel shared a long, beautiful beach with other hotels. There were two restaurants nearby. The room was big and clean and close to the beach. Just that the breakfast menu was the same every day except for the noodle station so getting tired of it after staying for a few days. Other than that, my experience there was quite good.

Best value for money in expensive Ngapali ”
Ngapali beach is one big resort with only few 'budget' accomodations. After one night in such a place we decided to take our changes in the Bayview (which is way above our budget, but there is just no good alternative). We stayed 4 nights in an upstairs room with all the benefits you may expect from a European owned hotel. The German manager, and his right hand are relaxed and they seemed to work very closely with the Myanmar staff. One evening I saw the manager having a few drinks with the guys from the hotel in their local hang out. I am sensetive to those things. You never can tell, but as it appeared to me, it felt like: 'we are in this all together'. He is working at the front desk and is not only a funny guy, he speaks very well English (teaches this during rainy season at the staff) and did his utmost for us when we had some hassle over flight tickets. He arranged everything. This guy is very important for Bayview we think. The breakfast is good, not outstanding, but real good coffee and some delicious pastries, cheese and dark bread! The Sunset bar is affordable, 5$ for a cocktail that comes with a free fantastic sunrise and set view. The food is expensive, but looked delicious. The pool is awsome, really inviting! The free bikes added value. The only negative point has nothing to do with the hotel but with its guest. There are some strange people out there. We saw a few of them staying at the Bayview. People with no manners what so ever. We were a few times so ashamed. People who bark at the staff, take over the egg station, throw away their freshly cooked eggs because the cook didn't do it the way they want it. Etc etc. All together, certainly compared to all the other luxorious resorts/hotels ( and we checked them all), this is the best option for a luxorious stay at the beach. And the cheapest as well

Relaxing Beach Resort”
We had a great 3 night stay at the Bayview Beach Resort. Near to the airport but occupies a great piece of beach towards the north end. Welcoming and spacious facilities and bedroom allowed us a relaxing stay at the end of our Myanmar trip. Has a nice spa too with reasonable prices compared to other hotels on the beach and the food generally was very good, with a mix of local and western. They also provided a BBQ grill night on the beach (we didn't go) but looked like everyone was in for a treat. Swimming pool, billiards/darts room, local restaurants/a few shops nearby, a bar on the beach and friendly staff and managers are a number of reasons why I would strongly recommend this hotel. If we return to Ngapali we would most likely stay here again. Great place.

Paradise! ”
We had a 5 night stay in the beach-front bungalow room type. Please do it if your budget allows! Other guests eye you with a mild envy as you step out your door onto the sand! We had thoughts of getting out and about around Thandwe and nearby islands, but we scarcely left the resort grounds and don't regret it for a second. Attentive, polite staff. Clean, modern facilities. Great breakfast and a fantastic restaurant in the evenings that kept us there every night working our way through the seafood menu! Good, stable WiFi, clean beach good for swimming, reasonably priced food and drinks on site, all things considered. We'll be back someday Bayview Ngapali!

direct Beach access rooms”
We had spent 2 weeks travelling around Myanmar and came to Ngapali Beach to wind down before going home. One of the best beaches in Asia. Crystal clear waters, a few local restuarants on the beach and in the area near the hotel for variety and a chance to meet the locals. No motor sports so quiet and peaceful. Bayview staff very attentive without being overbearing. Would highly recommend the Bayview and Ngapali Beach. seems to have the best location on the beach as well with the only direct beach access rooms

A fantastic stay”
We stayed just at the end of Myanmar's rainy season, so things were just getting up and running in Ngapali. Bayview had clearly used the low season well and had spruced the place up - it looked as if it was brand new. The vibe here is fantastic. Breakfast offered different options each morning - it was my reason for getting out of bed! The staff were always polite and super helpful. The only slight negative I can include is that there is a gym which wasn't advertised on their site - a very welcome surprise. If I'd known, I would've brought my trainers (but if I'm honest with myself, I still wouldn't have moved from the beach loungers!). The restaurant was much pricier than the local restaurants, but the food was excellent, and you only have to step outside the hotel to find somewhere cheaper if you fancy. Overall, I had an outstanding stay and would happily come back.

bayview is on the best part of ngapali beach. the rooms are all stylish, spacious and private and there is a great sense of space and greenery. the service is fantastic, nothing was too much trouble- organising airline tickets, free bikes, unbrellas when it rained, internet etc... and staff were always friendly. the restaurant and bar area is lovely with great quality food. my only complaint was that the menu did not feature more of the abundant locally caught seafood. i will definitely be back!

I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Bayview at Ngapali Beach! The management was very switched on and genuinely friendly and the service in general was fantastic. Best vacation for water festival”
We stayed at Bayview hotel for 3 nights during Myanmar Water festival and were deeply impressed by hotel staff's hospitality and their services, specially friendly managers Daniel and Kristina... We booked a trip to Peal island from hotel and halfway we decided to go back to hotel by land transport because of sea sick. Thanks to Manager Daniel, he drove the car by himself and fetched us from one of the village back to hotel. We have enjoyed our stay there, with wonderful breakfast, variety of food, Sunset bar was excellent with reasonable price. And there are a lot of nice restaurants near by. A fantastic trip, spacious room, nice food with excellent staff. Highly recommend this hotel and we would stay there again if we return to Ngapali.

Top end hotel and the best location in Ngapali”
When we arrived, the manager was there to welcome us. The manager and his staff did everything, for us to feel comfortable during our stay. The location of The Beach Resort is Ngapali Beach best. There are no rocks in fornt of the hotel, like the rest of the beach. We lived in a "garden view" room, but still had a great view over the sea. We can nothing but recomend this hotel to others.

Excellent Service, Excellent Place”
This was our third trip to Bayview; the first time when my wife was pregnant, the second time with just me and my young son, and now the third time with a second child in tow. As with past visits, the service is exemplary, warm, and personalized. Facilities already were great but now are even further improved with a gym and renovation. One of our favorite hotels, not just in Ngapali, but anywhere.

Well managed hotel with hospitality & personality”
If you are looking for a well managed, clean and comfortable hotel, this is a very good choice. The Bayview is placed on a very good spot along a sandy beach. We spend about a week at this hotel and were very happy with the service and the management. This hotel is relaxing because it is tidy and staff take care about all your needs. They pick you up from the airport and bring you to the airport on-time. We received a welcome drink at our arrival and the check-in very fast and uncomplicated. The room was very specious with a nice balcony with sea view. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment and could relax right away. The interior of the room and facilities were tasteful and reflected a bit Myanmar. The pool area and the beach which belonged to the hotel was very clean. When the hotel is booked out, I can imagine that between the sunloungers at beach, it could become a bit crowded. But this was not the case when we were there. The hotel restaurant served very good dishes and drinks. Do not miss the BBQ. We were very pleased from management's and staff's hospitality and their service. The spar area was good too. In the spar there are several options to get yourself a beauty treat.

Perfect hotel”
We could only stay 2 night in Ngapali beach at the end of our tour around Myanmar. What a great hotel this is. Staff and manager are very attentive to all details from the moment you land at the airport. BBQ dinner one of the nights was excellent with clients from other hotels coming to enjoy it. The rooms where excellent and the breakfast was very good...perhaps I missed BACON in there. Overall a fantastic place

Perfect all around place for families”
great all around place to stay in ngapali for those with a decent budget. the food is consistently good, a great included breakfast. the beach is fantastically beautiful right in front of the hotel. shallow, flat entry to water, white sand, the occasional friendly non pushy fruit vendor. staff are simply excellent and probably the best selling point. garden view rooms were spotless and cleaning staff truly top notch. managed by professional german managers. they know what they are doing.

This is an upscale resort, with beautifully designed rooms, a nice swimming pool, and right on the beach. Compared to neighboring resorts it seems like a good value for money, but if you're on a budget, you might want to stay away from Ngapali beach.

Great place”
This is the fifth hotel I have stayed in at Ngapali beach and all in the same price range. In short: This is the best of them. Beautiful layout of the lodge, everythings works really well, and all the small details a just nicer than most other places. In addition, free bicycles and canoes for rent was a great surprise.

Great staff and facilities, grumpy clientele”
We had 5 nights at Bayview, the nearby fishing villages are interesting to explore early in the morning, otherwise 6 days is too long on Ngapali. An odd vibe from long term, older, unpleasant and unattractive clients who get territorial about beach chairs. GM Patrick super motivated and present.
