"This place is not at the main street. Need to walk about 5 to 10 min (easy walk) along the road to the accomodation.  Booked the 4 beds room. The room was huge, bathroom was big, hotspring soak was good. The room was clean, didn't see any ants during our 2 nights stay.  Breakfast spread was not fantastic but adequate and good for us. The service was good - reception helped us ordered dinner from the main street below and sent to our room, helped us booked a taxi to NanYuan farm as we do not have a taiwan hp number. If you are looking for a place to relax in hotspring, this is the place. "

"Room is big and clean, parquet floor waxed, so if you wear socks, careful! big king sized bed, smoke free. Best, location is centralised near eateries and a hi family mart. The room toilet is spacious, but do be careful of the step down into the toilet. Big nice spa relax area in the toilet - 1 side can pour hot spring water and the other side cold spring water. Value for money!"

"There are a few different buildings in this resort. The only available option through Agoda is the older rooms, which is very dim and dusty. There is no lift in the "生活馆", the older building, so do take note if you are booking this resort. The female stafd at the older building is also not as friendly as the main building. The plus bonus is the breakfast and set dinner which comes with the stay. We didt even know dinner is provided for. the food is of good spread and really recommened to go back, but for the newer room type."

"This is a wonderful spa hotel in the middle of Guan-zih-ling village. The location is great! It is right next to the mud river and the muddy water (actually, it is minerals) is piped into the hotel for a relaxing spa. They also have clear spas if you don't like mud. You can get to Guanzihling village easily by bus or by car. However, the other wonder of Guanzihling ('Fire and Water, common origin') is far from the village and you will need your own transport. Guanzihling is a great romantic destination and this hotel ticks all the boxes: -It is beautiful and comfortable inside, so you will enjoy being there. -There are two different spas (mud spa and clear spa), they are both big enough to fit two people comfortably. -There is an on-sight restaurant, so you don't need to go far (though the included breakfast was only available between 7am and 9am - who would get up early at a spa hotel?) -It is expensive and looks as though it should be, so your Taiwanese girlfriend will be impressed! It is hard to fault this hotel . . . .but there are small things I noticed: -There are only two towels and one bar of soap for two people for two days. Given the fact it is a spa hotel, I would have thought more would be available (a savvy operator would have them for sale) -The price is a bit much (it cost more than my flight). -The entire spa area is a health and safety nightmare (loose stones underfoot, slippery floor towels, recessed bath tubs), yet the supplied bath clogs (aka jandals) are only big enough for small Asians (they were even tight on my girlfriend). * So it may be a good idea to bring your own supplies. Would be nice to have free wi-fi considering the number of Benjamins needed to get through the door. "
