Simply Sensational!”

Our stay at this hotel was simply one to remember and this is definitely not going to be our last time here. The staff that were there to greet us each and everytime from day one was superb. They cater to almost your every need!! They are happy when they see you happy! The room was sensational! The view will leave anyone who sees it breathless. It overlooks both Kata and Karon Beach! Typing this out is making me miss the room even more! The road to the hotel has quite a steep upslope that may be hard for some to walk up but nonetheless, it doesnt hurt to exercise abit after eating alot! :) Overall, a fantastic experience at Baan Kongdee. A beautiful hotel with lovely people! Highly recommend!! :)

A home on a holiday”

This is the best hotel experience i've had at this price in Phuket ever. The hotel is located on a small hill just about 150 meters off the main road. Be prepared to walk uphill if you dont have transport. The room was big, spacious, clean, comfortable & had a balcony that opens up to a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills & ocean. One could just chill in the balcony with a bottle of wine in the evening & it feels like a real holiday. The swimming pool, although not as big but is just nice & has a Jacuzzi in it & very tempting. The owner & his daughter (View) are so wonderful & friendly that they even offered us a free late checkout as our flights were late in the evening. Overall, Baan Kongdee is everything u see in the pics & reviews & i cant wait to be back to Phuket just for for a couple of more days at this hotel.

Amazing hotel, highly recommend”

We loved the hotel as soon as we saw it, it was worlds apart from the one we had just left four minutes around the corner due to damp conditions. The room on entry was a delight, it was sneaky clean, the floors shone, and the view, well, where so I start! The pictures online were exact to what we received. Bathroom a good size, bedroom great, large bed, TV, fridge, water everyday ,sofa bed, looked New, balconies with the whole view of Kata town and sea. Very friendly and polite staff, they even offer a lift to town everyday and back if required. The hill is a steep one to the hotel so brace yourselves, keeps you fit anyway. Pool area fab, so quiet, clean and inviting, it even has a Jacuzzi part, all in all, perfect stay, will be back again.

You can enjoy your breakfast in your room or balcony with your loved one or wider sea view . The staff can be fully serving you and call for assistant. Only one I can comment, is that you have to walk a ramp to go out or return to hotel. Thus, you can ask the staff to call the private car vender to arrange a car for you (I rent a new car Honda Jazz just B1200/day).

A very nice view of sunset”

This hotel locate up of the hill, you might need to have a good stamina for this. But hard work give good return, the view of sunset is superb. The manager of the hotel is friendly and sweet

In general it was a nice stay, the staff was kind (if they understood what we asked for, not speaking basic English is very annoying, they forgot our breakfast once because of that) and they drive you to the beach and back (until 6pm) as the hotel is on a hill and you cant access it by walking up. The view was really nice and the room was really clean. They have 5 breakfast options 3 out of it is some kind of egg, it became boring after a few mornings, so if you don't like egg don't ask for the breakfast included for your entire stay. When we went on tours they prepared us sandwiches for takeaway which was way better than the breakfast selection on the spot. I would recommend this place for those who would like to stay in a quiet place, if you want to experience the nightlife without paying a fortune for taxi (e.g walking around in the center in the evening) than you should choose something else.

Awesome but slightly inconvenient”

We loved the place, the staff are so friendly and courteous. The breakfast that they served us each morning was absolutely divine. Sweet freshly squeezed oranges and a healthy filling breakfast with fruits everyday. The only complaint I have about this place is that the road to get here is quite (very) steep. Unless you are renting your own car/motorcycle, I would suggest finding a place in a less steep area. BUT the view is amazing, the place is quite, serene and relaxing and the staff were very helpful with all our needs.

Nice Hotel ”

The Hotel is nice and has a really great view. But the interior is a bit older already and you can see the usage... The hill up to the hotel is really really really steep!

The hotel is realy good. You need to be mobile in order to walk up the hill to the hotel or you must use the shutle service.

Fantastic hosts”

Although being located at the top of a steep hill prevents going for an easy stroll, the views and the hosts make it a perfect place to unwind. The hosts are extremely friendly and more than willing to drive you down to the restaurants and bars or markets. I will definitely be staying here again.

Kostenloser Shuttleservice zum Strand hin und zurück. Unterkunft liegt auf einen Berg, 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Der Rückweg zu Fuß auf den letzten 500 metern sehr steil.
