Where to stay in Awaji Island
Awaji Island hotels & accommodations

The staff are very nice. Once u step in the hotel, you can see a very nice view of the hotel already. Dinner are very nice. Our group has peopel with food allergy, the hotel has emailed a few times to confirm the details and tried their very best to aviod all foods! This is a very amazing experience! For sure will come back again!

As subject, this hotel is nice in Awaji. However we were assigned to the room at the end wing not directly facing the sea, while we had been assigned to one with 180 degree seaview this March. A bit disappointing as I had made my request more than three months ago. Another problem was the room in triangular shape for three people. It's definitely too congested ...

The hotel is a bit remote from city. It is only suitable for guest with a car. The road sign to hotel need to be improved. More signs should be posted along the access road for guest to know it is the right way. A peaceful place. No wifi in room only in public area. The public bath (hot onsen) is good. A lot of free parking space.

a very beautiful onsen hotel at seaside. Beautiful sunrise at the morning. Food is good and delicious and the staff is friendly although we got some communication issue with the staff with not so good in english but they still very polite and helpful with your problem. A very memorable and good experience with the service and facilities of this hotel. For sure i will v...

We had a great stay at Yumekaiyu Awajishima Resort. They were very accommodating to our family and gave us recommendations and answered our questions in English since we have limited Japanese. Staff was very friendly and helpful, although some did not speak english they still tried their best to help. Towels and soap is not provided automatically but you can help yourself to them if you want to for no charge. The place was clean and well maintained.

It was a fabulous vacation with my aunt for the first time travel to Awaji Island. A big Thanks to Ms. C. Makimoto for her caring & thoughtfulness to get us the fan stand in our unit coz we felt too warm from the heater. I should be back again even the solo travel in the near future hopefully.

The ryokan was not as nice as the photos. It wasn't the same as promoted at all. Normally it will appears slightly different but this too my surprised it was totally different. It wasn't located right in front of the beach. You basically have to cross a street to get to the beach which it's not in the picture. Thats not the main point. The Japanese room was fully booke...

One of the high points of my trip. A beautiful older hotel with multiple hot springs (segregated, switching sides daily) including indoor and outdoor infinity pools on the top floor, sauna, then two outdoor pools one of which has very high mineral content unfiltered seabed hot spring water that is good for the skin, and another hot spring on the first floor I didn't ev...

Staff did not even offer to help with the luggage, at least to express it in words. They were not very attentive of the needs of their guests. Worst part, they didn't know how to resolve conflict or appease a rude and vulgar guest. The lady receptionist did not speak polite Japanese, not as polite as somebody in the hospitality business in Japan should. This was a huge...

The good - Wonderful views, good onsen, and perfect foods. English is poor, but they do have one can speak Chinese, so communication is ok. Area for improvement - there is 1000 yen charge for breakfast buffet even my daughter (three year old) didn't attend the breakfast. - Room is a bit old. They need some renovation. Private onsen is renovated and new which...

It is one of the lousiest hotel I’ve stayed. Totally not value for money. The staff looked unprepared for my arrival. Although the staff that served me eventually was nice, there are too many downsides to the hotel. The room they gave me did not have the view of the sea (as per the photo). The bed was creaking as though ready to give way any time. In fact the centre o...
