"the hotel is really nice. it is new, and well kept. the breakfast is great, can not be much better. the vip floor does worth the extra money you pay for it. mini bar in the room is very very expensive, like most hotels in beijing, and way more expensive, then most countries in the world. location is great, can not be much better then that. it is right near the olympic stadium, and if you are here for convention or a sport event, that would be the place to stay. not too far from the center of the city, around 10 minutes taxi drive."

"The staff arr very helpful. The room is very clean, actual design and bright. We are a family with 2 little children and they was happy with it. The location is far from center but is near to subway station. There are some good places for lunch near. In our next Beijing visit probably we return to Holliday Inn Express Beijing Yizhuang."

"We have been choosing a hotel in Beijing for more than 2 days (fortunately, my wife was doing most of that job) and, as result, we finally chose the Novotel Xian Qiao Hotel Beijing and now we may definitely state that we made a right choice. Most of the Beijing sites of interest are either in the walking distance (the Tiananmen square, the Forbidden city, the Temple of Heaven, and even the Beihai park), or they can be easily reached by metro or by bus - the public transportation is quite good in Peking. Our advice is to maximally walk about the city to feel its spirit. Moreover, imho, it's better to use different city restaurants to be acquanted with the Chinese quisine. To visit the Great Wall, we used the hotel tour service, and we were also satisfied with the quality of that tour."

Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen

"The Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen is the best hotel option for you while in the Embassy area. It is a great location with lots of restaurants around, a convenience store, and very walkable pedestrian lanes. The check in and check out was quick with friendly and English-speaking front desk staff/. The room is clean, the bed and pillows are super comfortable and the hot shower was great! They have wifi which works well. The free breakfast was okay. Overall, a really great hotel for you to try."

Grand Millennium Beijing
CBD/Guomao,Beijing - View on map
"Superb 5-star standard, alot of staff on the ground and always looking out to see what you need. They are also innovative to help use a taxi booking app for your needs instead of letting you stand at the lobby for the elusive passing by taxis like most hotels do. Room is large, bed very comfortable and housekeeper always available; just flick your switch and they will make up your room even if its the third time. Business centre was closed when we are there, but they allowed me to visit the executive floor to use their printer for a small fee (CNY 21 to copy 4 sheets). Its my favourite hotel in Beijing, won't go anywhere else."

Holiday Inn Beijing Chang An West

"Wukesong is actually not an ideal location for tourists. There isn't much to see in this part of Beijing but I was here for a concert at Wukesong Stadium so it was ideal since it was close (i.e. in walking distance) to the subway station and to the stadium. If you are taking the subway and walking, the street signs are actually perpendicular to the street that you are walking on (I only mention this as a tip since I got lost and walked much farther than I had to from the station to the hotel). Check in time is also at 2pm, which I had assumed to be 12pm for some reason. The receptionist was asking us to come back at 4pm even though we had arrived around 1pm but we were tired and desperate to shower so after talking to their manager, he agreed to clean up the room asap and check us in. So plan for a late check in. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, but the room did smell a little weird. I didn't eat or use any of their facilities but there are quite a few small restaurants close by. If you need a map of Beijing, the hotel can provide you with one and the receptionists can give you directions to some extent. "
