Nice hotel in the middle of Pohang”
Convenient location. Kind and understanding owner. The hotel was nice and unmanned. Even so, the facilities were top-notch and the room was clean. The room was also the perfect size; the bathroom had a bathtub and came with toiletries. If ever we return to Pohang, we will stay here again. Totally recommend this hotel to travelers😄

The hotel is really good and nice. The manager of the hotel operating the branch is very helpful and have assisted me throughout my stay. It is very close to Pohang Intercity Bus Terminal (~5mins walk) and it is in a quiet neighbourhood as well. Would come back again in the future :)

It was the best”
It's close to the Intercity bus station and many buses pass this area. So easy to go everywhere in Pohang from this hotel. The staff was nice and guided us well while we're there... It was a nice experience...

Perfect for my vacation”
I booked the Apple Tree for my first vacation in Korea since I moved here. I had a lovely time staying there. The location was good for local busses and I could walk to where I wanted to go too. It was also nice and quiet. I would stay there again the next time I'm in Pohang.

Great Stay, Friendly Staff”
Had a good stay in this hotel as a solo traveler, the front desk staff might not be around at the counter all the time, but they are easily contactable by phone. The staff was really friendly and allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel for a few days while I went to Ulleung-do. Location of the hotel was great as well, within 5 minutes walking distance of Pohang Bus Terminal. Only downside is that the hotel is in an alley behind the main road, so it can be quite quiet at night. It is very safe in general nonetheless, I did not experience any danger while walking back at night by myself. Highly recommended, value for money hotel!

Well worth the price. Clean and new with great breakfast provided. Inside an alley just opposite the Pohang Bus Terminal. Easy to find transport to all parts of town. Good dining places nearby.

Great location ”
The location was great. It is right by the bus terminal. It was a self-check in where you had to call the number and they will send you a text on how to enter the room. The staff were nice . Overall, it was a good experience.

BASIC AND CLEAN”
chose this place due to proximity with intercity bus terminal. Was not the easiest to locate in the second lane off the main road and had I recognise the apple tree logo, it would have been easier to identify. Otherwise, it's not really that close to pohang beach and could not find that many food options by evening, or even convenience stores nearby. Boss at front desk could converse in English and was pleasant during check in. hotel itself and rooms were clean and comfortable. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Nice Hotel but in “dead town””
Unable to find reasonable food around hotel area. Practically totally no Korean food at all. Only 2 fast food outlets available. Hotel room is clean with basic amenities meet our needs. Good security as the entrance is only allowed card access.

A place to stay with a roof”
This place is good if you just need a place to stay. Do not depend on the cleanest of rooms. I saw a strand of hair in my bed and mold in the cracks of the bathroom.

Comfortable, clean, and relaxing”
The Apple Tree Pohang Hotel is a very comfortable hotel closely located to the bus terminal and Home Plus/shopping complex. Although a bit difficult to find being that it is not on the main street I would recommend this hotel to others due to the cleanliness, attentive staff and cozy feeling of the room. The rooms are nothing extravagant but they are good for a night or two. Very clean, comfortable bed, air conditioner, television and a decent sized bathroom. Staff can speak English which is a plus if you do not know any Korean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Apple Tree Pohang Hotel was a nice cozy hotel close to the bus terminal and Home Plus. Stayed here as a stop over from Busan to the city in which I live. Ideal if you are stopping through or need to take the bus. Room was comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and nice. Bathroom was nice and sink was cool. Room was kind of small but not a big deal due to the fact we were just sleeping there. Ideal for business or for a a few nights. Not luxurious but gets the job done. Would stay here again because it is close to Home Plus and the bus terminal.

Best Hotel in Pohang”
This is the best hotel for the money in Pohang. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and the whole place feels like a boutique hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and speaks English - they were able to assist with everything from the internet to restaurant recommendations. They have a nice breakfast spread in the morning too. I've stayed in almost every hotel in Pohang, and this one is the best.

Very good economical stay”
I had a lovely 2 nights stay in Pohang. The hotel is just 5mins walk away from the intercity bus terminal. It’s very easy for me to head to other cities like I took a direct bus to Busan from there. They have automated ticketing machine which has English option. So it’s very convenient for non-Korean literate foreigners. Their front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have simple breakfast provided on 1st floor. Room amenities are basic but complete for a 3-Star hotel. Will recommend to anyone who needs a budget good stay!
