Very friendly and nice staffs”

My stay at Andaman Seaview was great. Located just a few minutes walk to beautiful Karon beach, quiet yet close to local spas and restaurants, this hotel offers almost everything for those who want to chill out in the best part of Phuket for affordable price. Room was clean and spacious, with the nice view of Karon Beach. However, the gem of this hotel is its staffs - very attentive and incredibly kind, and skillful. I'd especially want to thank Michael at the reception, and Matta, the service manager for their special treatment for me when I left my passport in my room. I'd also want to thank the driver who drove Matta all the way to the airport, just to help me. It was amazing stay at this hotel and I'll definitely come back again.

A pleasant stay at Andaman Sea View Hotel”

A hotel’s main reason for earning 4 or 5 stars is for the service and the way they welcome and treat their guests. All other reasons are secondary. Hotel Andaman Sea View deserves 4 stars! We had the pleasure of spending 5 days and nights in the middle of June at this pleasant and well maintained, blue and white colonial style hotel. On our arrival we were professionally and warmly greeted by the reception staff. The hotel boasts several pleasant pool areas and poolside restaurants. Our room was large with a small balcony overlooking the main, swim-around sunning deck. Towels were ready and waiting for us on the lounging chairs on the sun deck. The room featured an easy to use safe for valuables, a mini bar, hair dryer and an old style TV. Daily fresh water bottles and complimentary tea and coffee were included. The bathroom had both a walk-in shower and a deep soaker tub. Robes and slippers were a nice touch! A large-sized beach bag with towels were also provided for our visits to the beach, which was only a 3 minute stroll from the hotel. 2 complimentary umbrellas were needed, being rainy season. Our stay included buffet breakfasts with a adequate choice of food. Coffee and tea were served at the table as it should. Service was always with a genuine smile. This being “Low-Season”, the hotel was only sparsely occupied. The price we paid through Agoda was very good. In-season prices maybe somewhat high for this older but super clean hotel. We cannot comment on the gym, lunch, dinner restaurants or massage services, since we did not use these. A good selection of shops, restaurants and mini marts are an easy 5 minute walk away. We would definitely consider staying at Andaman Sea View on a return visit to Karon Beach, Phuket.

Nice Sea View Hotel”

I stayed in Andaman Seaview Hotel Phuket from 8-11 Dec 09, it took me around 45 mins to check-in which was frustrating but I assume it was a on off issue other wise the staff was very nice and hospitable, the hotel has a very nice location (just next to the quiet Karon beach) with an excellent view of the beach from the balcony. The room was slightly basic (I expecting slightly better for the price I paid for such a hotel in Thailand) The breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. Overall I would recommend this hotel for those who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation just next to the beach.

Andaman Seaview Hotel at Karon Beach will be our first choice again if traveling to Karon Beach. You can be sure that the accomodation not will be the thing that ruins your holiday. We really enjoied our stay and spent a lot of time at the hotel, in our room, at the pool and in the restaurant. The staff was very kind and polite and we felt that everybody was interested in giving us a nice stay. If you are interested in partytime, you should not choose this hotel. It is a very quiet and peaceful hotel just 2 minutes walk from the beach and near restaurants and shops without hearing any of the noice from streetlife. Value for money is good and we recomend this hotel fro all that do not want to party all night.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff, great location”

I have stayed at the Andaman Seaview in Karon three times. This time I stayed in a standard room which opened up onto the childrens pool. The rooms are very good size and contain everything you need in a hotel - including hot water maker. Staff are always friendly. Breakfast buffett is extensive. Hotel is a few steps to beautiful Karon beach - this was the first time I used the beach - is a beautiful beach and great for swimming - very clean and safe. Also just in front of the hotel are excellent restaurants - cheap with wonderful food. A few steps from hese are many massage shops and a bit of a stroll takes you to Kata or Karon - either are easily accessible with a short walk. Only negatives this trip were that the hot water was only luke warm, and the internet cost is higher than it should be. I will stay here again.

So if you are staying in the Kata / Karon area then you will have already worked out that it is just a little bit quieter than busy Patong but only 12 mins and @400 TBH away by tuk tuk This is what I always choose as we have local friends over this side which makes the stay even more enjoyable. This is my second stay at the Andaman and I have not yet been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel has all the facilities you could need. The Pool is beautiful and the beach is a 2 min stroll away, down their driveway and across the road to the white sands of Karon beach. The hotel restaurant was still very comfortable and the Thai food was still pretty good. Thankfully they haven’t yet followed many of the other local restaurants and become completely westernised....why come to Thailand who has possibly the nicest food in the world and eat burgers? There is an AMAZING little family run restaurant not far from the hotel called Siam Thai Food. It is run by Pom, Toy and Apple and they have such a great range of Thai dishes, and we were all so impressed that 9 of us had Christmas dinner with them. The address is 74 Taina Rd in Kata (about 12 min stroll from the hotel. You will not regret it. The hotel is set back from the road which is also a nice feature as the road can be a little noisy at times (tuk tuk's etc) I would definitely stay at the Andaman again and have no problem recommending it to others too.

Nice Hotel on the best beach in Phuket”

The Andaman Seaview Hotel is located just off the nioest beach on the entir Island of Phuket. Karon is the nicest beach because it faces teh Indian Ocean, gets fines waves and cooling breeezes, and the touristy shops are far enough away from the beach that teh views are unspoiled. The hotel is clean and the staff is freindly. The pool is very pleasant also, ane you can watch football matches at teh stadium next door.

The Andaman Seaview Hotel has a good location across the road from Karon Beach.The hotel is very gracious and traditional, also the staff dress traditionally.There is nothing which is too much bother for the staff, we had bulbs that needed changing which were changed in a matter of minutes late in the evening. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard also the bedding was changed every third day. The restaurant was very good, and there are a good range of restaurants outside the hotel, try the seafood huts outside the hotel.

Great resort across from the beach”

Andaman Seaview is a great resort located right across from the beach. With 2 awesome pools and a swim up bar, sometimes there's not much reason to leave the resort. The resort is located right between the two main bar/shopping districts of Karon, so it can sometimes be quite a long walk to get to where you want to go, but there's always a tuktuk outside to help you there. There's some great restaurants just outside and convenience stores close by, but if you're after big bars and shops, you'll need to take a 10 minute trip. We found this also proved to be a good point as well, because you won't have to deal with all of the foot traffic and car noise when you're trying to relax. I'd happily recommend Andaman Seaview to anyone.

this was the last leg on our journey through thailand and what a great way to end our trip. we enjoyed everything about the andaman seaview hotel from the cool drink on arrival to the courteous staff and helpfull left luggage room. the location is fantastic, just accross the road from the beach with but at the quiet end of karon beach.

Great Stay”

Logistic Karon Beach across the road. A beautiful turquoise & less crowded beach, can stay at the beach for hours enjoy the chill, comfortable breeze. There is taxi stand right across, it’s very convenient to grab taxi / tuktuk to everywhere. About 20 mins to Patong Beach area. Hotel staff & service Immediate respond from hotel manager after he find out our hotel room air-con problem Super friendly & helpful staff - Rene. We signed up for local island hopping tour, but there is no van to pick us up at the hotel at the time the agent given. Rene offers to help to make calls to the local agent office ended up we got picked up 1.5 hours later. On the check-out day, we supposed check out early, drop all our luggages at the concierge and out for last mins shopping. But 1 of my friend ended up fall sick need a place to rest while waiting for our flight, Rene helps to arrange my friend to the guest resting area due to no budget for additional 1 day charges on hotel. Cleanliness We are very happy with the clean & comfy room. With little balcony & pool view. The room is decent, they have all you name. The only complaint is the bathroom light too deem. Facilities Hotel room also equipped with a beach bag & towels for the guests to use at Karon Beach. There is an outdoor water pipe for foot wash before enter hotel. Love they have the guest resting hall for whoever needed / check out late

Andaman Seaview is a Gem”

The Andaman Seaview is the perfect location for a relaxing and fun vacation in Phuket. You have all of the options for food, shopping, massage, etc. very close the hotel as well as the option to just sit at the sea and relax. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff is amazing and very helpful. We also did trips to Phi Phi Islands and an elephant safari. I highly recommend that you go to Kok Chiang Safari, which is just 15 minutes away and they will pick you up at the hotel. They treat their animals very well and the staff is very friendly. They even dropped us off for a wonderful lunch overlooking the Andaman Sea. We could go to the sea just across the street or sit at the pool and order drinks and lunch. It was a great vacation and truly the best of Phuket.

Our 3 day stay at Andaman Seaview, Karon Beach was wonderful. The room was spacious, with all amenities provided and the 2 pool areas lovely - most comfortable pool lounges I have ever relaxed in! The beach is just over the road and was excellent for swimming and walking. The staff were outstanding - always friendly and attentive - thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Food was plentiful and delicious - I hope we will be back.

Andaman seaview hotel situated opposite Karon beach is a very nice hotel with a super pool , staff are very friendy and helpful , rooms are available which have direct access to pool from terrace which would be perfect for families with children , breakfast was good , not so kken on resort as tailors and tour touts can be irritating , over all a good 3 night stay with husband and 16 year old son .

Incomparable service at Andaman Seaview Hotel”

The staffs at Andaman Seaview Hotel greeted us with the warmest welcome even though we had not yet made any bookings with them. They really went an extra mile and the half to explain and took us to one of the room for viewing before we make the booking. The room is VERY spacious with a double bed and a single bed, balcony and bath tube with a window opening beside it so that you can communicate with your love ones while taking a hot bath. The free breakfast was gorgeous, with a huge variety and having to taste all that beside the pool is really a treat. Overall, I really think it really a bargain to stay here and did I mention that the beach is just 3 minute walk away?

The hotel is set out great with 2 pools, one lovely lanscaped with pool bar.All the hotel staff are very attentive. The superior rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is one of the best ive had an d in line with the star rating for the hotel. this was a great break a a great hotel .

Great location, excellent breakfast!”

We found Andaman Seaview hotel on internet - all reviews seemed mostly positive so we thought we'd give it a go. We were mainly looking for a good location (opposite beach and within walking distance of all shops etc). The hotel is situated slighty back off the main beach road so is quiet and peaceful. During the day we were able to cross over the road to get to the beach (200 baht a day for sun lounger and umbrella). The beach was ok - a little dirty and very busy but did the job for a few days. Surrounded by lots of shops and places to eat. We had breakfast included and the options were endless - so much variety. Bread, pastries, cereal, cooked breakfast, tea, coffee, orange juice etc Only real negative things to say is that the drinks and food in the hotel were expensive. Fot 2 soft drinks by the pool we paid 120 baht (buy from the shop up the road for 20 baht each!). Also the service at the pool bar wasn't that good. Waiter couldn't even bring himself to smile, but reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is mainly full of older couples and a few families so ideal if you are looking to relax and chill out.

I really like Andaman Seaview Hotel with many reasons below: Beautiful with Dutch style hotel: Look classic and feel like living in Netherland Charming pool: Pool lies in front of guest room which can directly jump to the pool Great service mind of staff: Staff always say hello when meet guest. We have problem on how to start some equipment in fitness club, staff immediately support us and provide water with icy handkerchief for us. For dinner buffet case, we can reserve and ask for special seats that have nice view. Fitness and Spa available Delicious food: Variety of food and good fresh taste. I tried both breakfast and dinner buffet. Worth to pay: Even it is quite expensive for Thai people but from many Pros, I think it worth my money.

Ther are not many hotels in the Karon Beach area that are "On the beach". The Andaman was a very short walk to the beach and other eateries were close by for a change of pace. The staff was very pleasant (Esp. the front desk staff) and were very helpful. The hotel was not noisey and was more family oriented. We took several tours...some through the hotels desk and some on our own. The hotel tour desk booking were done through the front desk staff (so they did not know everything). We heard later that tour booking may have been less expensive by doing it on-line. However we were quite happy with what we got.
