A wonderful stay”
The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The pool looked amazing (opens from 7 to 7 ). Location is really great - < 10 min walking to JB CIQ (walk to KOMTAR JBCC, go to the first floor, exit and cross the road to get to Zenith. Take the lift to level 6 and walk through the restaurant to get to the lobby of Amari) The staff were definitely the highlight. Every staff member we met was friendly, accommodating to our requests for items such as sewing kit, extra soap/shampoo too! Special mention of Azrin, the staff at front desk. He was helpful in contacting Grab for us as I had lost my wallet in a Grab ride but none in our group could reach Grab's customer support line on our phones. He offered to contact Grab for us and managed to speak to a customer service officer, and helped communicate the situation clearly to them. He also suggested to let the Grab driver call the hotel so that he could inform us via our room phone when the driver came to return the wallet. Will definitely return to stay at Amari. I would totally recommend Amari Hotel JB. I booked the room which had direct access to the pool to surprise my wife for her birthday and it was well worth it. We checked in at night after 10pm. Room was excellent, clean and new looking, the direct access to the pool was exciting for us. And i really appreciated that I was able to connect my phone to the TV for smartviewing (can watch netflix etc..), this was a big deal for me as almost all hotels i have been before did not have this function. In the morning we accessed the swimming pool which was sufficient enough. We also loved the breakfast spread and the food was delicious. The hotel is also close to Komtar, City Square so was convenient. We stayed just for one night and had to check out at 1pm but they allowed our car to be parked at their place till we did our shopping and returned at night to pick up our car. Overall extremely satisfied.

Counter staff was very helpful and friendly. She went the extra mile to get us checked in early by messaging us letting us know that our room was ready. And that was only at about 10.40am. And we were really happy that all the staff was so friendly with good hospitality. Raymond and Casey to name a few with the best hospitality attitude. The room was very clean with nice and comfortable bed. And location was very good with all the shopping centres and eateries only on walking distance. And we enjoyed the breakfast as well with lots of varieties to choose from. Overall personally we rate 5 stars for this hotel. Thumbs up guys. Will be back again.

Was at d amari hotel jb last sat 12th nov 2022. D room is nice cosy and clean. What impress my family and i was was d restaurant. They have an almost nvr ending buffet breakfast and d taste was awesome. They hv this egg "buffet" fried when requested. D guy doing it is very charming n even offered to hv it sent to our table (i ordered 4 omelette) . I actually spoke to the operation manager who is equally awesome. Mr murthi) n to my surprise "d egg guy" is actually d head chef. 😱Then came d lunch. Its a wow considering the price and plenty of choices alike. Last but not least its d services rendered. Namely d chef hairi ops manager murthi svc staff annie the svc staff at d front counter n d list just goes on n on. U practically walk tru d whole hotel with each n everyone of them putting one hand across d chest n greet u. Yes its everoyone of them. I gv 10stars for food and 20stars for service. Thank you amari and you will be seeing my family and i again and again God:s willing.

We enjoyed our stay at Amari Hotel. Booked for a surprise birthday celebration for Husband. Paid for the decorations, worth the money! It was above my expectations, including a slice of cake, and a birthday wishes note from the housekeeping staff. I wish I can give them a 10-star rating. Friendly staff, room/ toilet is clean and delicious breakfast! Oh yes, a safe hotel to park your car, with a 24hrs carpark staff security room. Overall stay is Amazing! Will come back for more staycation at Amari.

Best hotel in JB so far”
I have stayed in Holiday Inn JB, KSL resort, Z hotel, Suasana Suite and Holiday Villa but Amari is the best for me so far. Clean and spacious room and comfortable bed. Big hotel lobby and friendly staff. Our room does not come with breakfast so I can't comment on their food. Will return again when the price is low. I paid 119 for 1 night which is slighlty expensive.

Reserved 2 room (connecting room).. hotel room is clean and comfortable, adequate size. Bathroom amenities are nice but without bath up. Breakfast selection is great, swimming pool a bit small. There is free popcorn and cotton candy on Sunday morning, great for children. There is a biliard/pool and business center for hotel guest (free). Location is excellent, near komtar jbcc and johon city square. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall we enjoy our stay and will recommend to everyone who wants to have trip to JB.

One of the best hotel in JB”
Definitely my most favorite hotel to stay in JB although the price is steep. All the staff are friendly and nice. The hotel was also very nicely decorated for the holidays. The room was very clean and it’s one of the few hotels where I can walk on the carpet without slippers as it feels clean and plush. Went to the spa as well and it’s very good. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices too. Highly recommend!

Especially fnb team ,, when we were having breakfast buffet in the hotel they welcome us with warm smile and the service is very good . There are a lot of good choices, and their teh tarik also taste good . The room Is clean and huge I would say it’s worth for the price of rm400+ including breakfast

The rooms were very clean, staff extremely polite well mannered in every level of service area be it front counter, restaurant service person, door man, lobby area staff, room cleaners ect all were friendly, attentive and greet people with smile. We stayed in a room with direct swimming pool access and it was aweesssoommmmeee! Love love love the location, just across the road from Komtar JBCC. There’s 7-11 on the ground floor, and right across the street there’s some restaurants which open til late.. so its easy to get food around there. Room is clean and comfortable. Overall, recommended hotel👍🏼

1st time stay in Amari”
A pleasant 1st time stay here in Amari & am very pleased with staff & the service. Hotel is clean and very convenient location to JBCC Komtar & City Square. Will definitely be my choice of stay in JB since I don’t drive. The only cons that I have is the aircon is not cold enough at night. It seems that temperature was controlled by the hotel after a certain timing and I hope the hotel will take in this feedback.

Amari is a few minutes walk away from the JB customs and just behind Komtar which makes it an ideal location. Our room was really clean and comfy. But the best part was the breakfast buffet. In addition to the yummy food, we were pleasantly surprised with a live singer during our breakfast. The pool and gym were great too, overall an awesome place to stay for families, couples and solo travellers.

Facilities -basic equipments all available in gym with sanitizer, good music, all cardio machine with functioning console (the online function). Water and towels available with weighing scale (but Low Batt and can’t measure weight). Best is: it’s 24hours -pool: decent size. Fairly clean. But no quick shower outside to clean yourself first before entering pool. Toilet and shower room is behind the gym. Food -breakfast is pretty ordinary, best food is probably the chicken rendang. This is the only part that I don’t really enjoy during the stay. Room: spacious for a double twin. Clean sheets. Room entertainment TV channels: ok but not with the most variety. Hair dryer is powerful. Pillows are nice. Fridge is not really cold. Shower/toilet -clean, with toiletries that I enjoy: hair shampoo and showering gel are not drying to the skin. The lotion smells really great. Hot water and water pressure all great Staffs: all of them are very polite and helpful: no issue with that

My first time staying at Amari Hotel. I received a warm welcome from the staff from the moment I checked in till check out. I dropped my luggage off to head out for lunch since check in was at 3pm. When I got the keycard, I was pleased with my room. It was huge and clean. My only complain was the pillows were too soft. Other than that, my stay was great! I would to commend all the staff for their amazing customer service!! You guys rock! Thank you! I would definitely come back to Amari.

Location was the biggest USP!”
Have stayed at Amari Hotel before previously, everything was great about the hotel, service staffs were mostly very warm and welcoming, they would greet us when they see us. Room and room cleanliness were great as well! Location of the hotel was awesome, biggest selling point of the hotel! Soundproofing of the room can be improved though, could hear the person snoring away in the next room very clearly! Overall it was a great stay and would consider coming back to this property. The Amari service culture can be felt in this hotel outside Thailand. Service is good from Front Desk to Concierge and Exec Lounge. Location of hotel is opposite Causeway, convenient for train and bus commuters coming into Johore. For drivers, the car park is a bit tricky so look out for signage. Stayed in the exec room and room is clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back here to stay again

Hotel is within walking distance from CIQ and City Square and is just a hop and skip away from Komtar JBCC. From CIQ,walk towards City Square via overhead bridge.Cut through Komtar from the entrance near starbucks, head down to the ground level and exit main entrance with the "taxi stand" and cross the road,turn right and Walk towards Zenith lifestyle mall & enter the mall.You'll pass by Hai Di Lao along the way.Take the escalator to level 2, walk till you see 7-11, exit from there and turn left.Amari lobby will be on your left.Reception is on 6th floor. Rooms are very clean and you really feel welcomed coming here.Staff is well trained and engaging.Always saying hello and helping out.Highly recommended.
