Only criticism is lack of safety fencing around pool area and staircases.

Our room is on level 1 with direct access to the pool. The bedroom is a bit small but the big living room and balcony makes up for it. The swimming pool is smaller than expected but fortunately not a lot of people stay in this boutique hotel. It's quite family style. We had our dinner there at their small restaurant on our last day - food is actually quite good.

Voyageurs solitaires United Kingdom, 5 février 2013	Good size hotel apartment with friendly staff Very friendly staff, great pool on a hill so gets the breeze on a hot day 9 Only stayed one night but the accommodation was generous, a kitchenette made a big difference (so I could make my own stove pot coffee for once) it's a bit of a walk to the beach about a ten minute up a hill but not too far from the main drag of Surin. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful especially Susan and Jordy who bent over backwards to help me. I had left my iPod and phone in koh lak and Susan phoned them up and sorted the problem out for me. The breakfast was ok, the pool was great, and only about 20 rooms so not too crowded ...and no Russians...which was a blessed relief! Conseil de voyage: Huge rooms with all mod cons, plenty of channels on the tv but bring some walking shoes as its a bit of a hike to the beach...

Groupes France, 28 janvier 2013	Small appartments with nice view Friendly staff, view, location, comfortable rooms 9 Perfect for group travellers as the appartments have separate rooms and bathrooms with a kitchen. The terrace is huge with gorgeous sea view. The pool area is a bit small but the beaches are only a few hundred meters away. The staff is super friendly as you would expect in thailand and very helpful.

Really great apartment: large space, good features. Staff were friendly. breakfasts were reasonable quality. Beach was good with surprisingly good lifeguards. However there were a few niggles: i) being off-season the kitchens closed at 5pm which meant that it was difficult to stay in for an evening or have grandparents baby sit. ii) We understood the walk to the beach but was a little more difficult for grandparents than we were expecting. iii) Pool was good, but sometimes there was a slight smell of sewage.. However all-in all we would stay there again.

Familles avec de jeunes enfants United Kingdom, 24 août 2012	Nice Hotel but no kitchen after 5pm Very good rooms 8 hotel rooms spacious with big balconies. 10 minute walk to beach not too bad. breakfast was ok although choice wasn't spectacular. biggest problem was because we were there in low season (august) the kitchen closed at 5 so it was impossible to eat there in the evenings. in spite of that i thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my family.

This is a great spot for a realxing few days. Recommended. Conseil - restaurants: The restaurant is not open in the evening during low season. However, there ae plenty of good options nearby, especially Lotus at Laguna, Bang Tao beach.
