Couples France, 13 février 2011	petit hotel verdoyant rapport prix/qualite trec correct 7 c est un petit etablissement tout proche du centre ville, des marches, des temples et meme de la station de bus...c est une atmosphere familiale, l acceuil est amical, le personnel est attentif ... les chambres sont propres, l equipement est conforme aux descriptions...seule la tele vision n offre que des chaines locales...dommage..toutes les autres prestations sont corectes...c est un etablissement bien sur le rapport prix/qualite et nous n hesitons pas a le recommander....meme le petit dejeuner est correct..

Everything you could ask for and more. 9 When we arrived the owner could see we had two heavy cases so he gave us an upgrade to a ground floor family room at no extra cost.The staff were all helpful an cheerfull.The room rate included breakfast which was excellent.The hotel was in a quiet small side road with no traffic noise. Conseil - hôtel: The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and value for money.

The breakfast is very good & we enjoyed the Thai food also, the restaurant area is lovely with lots of plants, birds, fish! a good place to meet others travelling over a cold beer in the evening. Lovely staff, great owners and a homesome feel. Location is on a quiet side street and not too far to walk to the old city. Room is spacious with new tv, fridge, good furniture and a big bathroom - excellent value.

I had to made a booking for a family room and a Standard deluxe, as only one of each was available at the time of booking, and it seems the owner, a nice English folk was aware about that fact. The rooms were basic, but had everything one would need for an overnight. Finding it was easy enough, and space for car parking is available. We decided to have dinner in the attached inexpensive restaurant, as I knew from previous stays in Phrae that choices are limited.

Couples Canada, 13 décembre 2011	Much nicer than it looks quiet, but convenient location, nice rooms, pleasant staff 8,7 Although the hotel is just a standard modern three storey building on the outside, inside it is pleasant and comfortable. The double rooms, with AC, flatscreen tv and a nice shower room, are attractive and good value for money. Breakfast is included in the price and there is free coffee or chocolate available at any time so the hotel offers a good deal to travellers. The little roofed outdoor restaurant area at the back of the hotel - behind the small car park - is pleasant and the food is fine, especially the rice soup. Other guests there seemed happy with the place, not least because the staff are very pleasant indeed: friendly and helpful. If you want a basic, but comfortable place to staff in Phrae, this is it. Conseil - attractions: The old part of the city, within the earthen ramparts, is very pleasant: lots of little teak houses and a nice neighourhood feel while strolling about. Very friendly and chatty residents. The local museum, located in the last Prince's large teak house is interesting ( and free ). Very special is Vongburi House, another beautiful teak residence, which is full of lovely furniture and other items from the past: well worth the 30 B admission fee.
